Do you see the resemblance? Like we said, they have a perfect blend of Spike and their mother Tonya’s features, but we see so much of Spike in them that he couldn’t deny his babies if he tried…although we know Spike would never want to do that to his kids. There are some strong genes in the Lee bloodline, that’s for sure.
Spike and Tonya’s beautiful daughter, Satchel Lee, is 20 years old (she turns 21 on December 2015) and their son, Jackson Lee is 18. They spend a lot of family time together.

Spike can often be seen sitting courtside with his son at the Knicks games and in case you didn’t know, Spike is a big time Knicks fan. He’s been so all his life. he even once told a story about how he missed hi sDad’s concert to attend a Knicks game when he was a kid. He said that he’s gotten a ticket from his dad’s lawyer who lived up the street from them and it was way too tempting to pass up. Spike said this to the LA Times about missing his dad’s concert for the Knicks:

“That was the seventh game of the NBA championship in 1970; that’s the game that Willis Reed dragged his leg on the court and the Knicks beat the Lakers. I got one ticket for the game, I got it through my father’s lawyer . . . who lives down the block, who went to school with John Havlicek.”

LA Times also asked Spike if he regretted missing his Pops’ concert and here’s what he said:

“It was unfortunate my father had to schedule a concert . . . but I mean, there would be other concerts; it was only going to be this one championship game. But it . . . I think it hurt (my father). I think it hurt very much. Shoot, when my sister did (the musical) ‘Mule Bone’ on Broadway, their opening night was a night the Chicago Bulls were in town. You know where I was at.”

So as you can see, Spike takes the Knicks games very seriously and it looks like he’s passing that tradition down to his son.

He also spends quality time with his daughter. Above is a recent pic of Spike, his wife and his daughter getting some son at the beach. I wonder if the folks sitting around them knew that he was Spike…he looks kind of incognito in this photo.

We don’t know what Satchel’s and Jackson’s career aspirations are at this point, but with two very successful parents like Spike and his wife, Tonya, they are probably left with no choice other than to accomplish some great things in their own lives and there’s nothing wrong with that. We wish them luck.
