Steve’s Controversial Comments

Many of you probably recall when Steve Harvey cracked a controversial joke live on his radio show, to a Flint, MI fan, telling the to go “enjoy your nice brown glass of water.” The joke was made during Steve’s competitive conversation with the fan, regarding the NBA championship, after the Cleveland Cavaliers lost to Oakland Cali’s Golden State Warriors.

As we previously reported, Steve caught major flack over his joke from many who viewed his comment as being insensitive to the seriously toxic health crisis that Flint’s governor, Rick Snyder, intentionally thrusted upon the people of Flint, MI. Currently their drinking water is severely tainted due to the governor’s decision to switch their water supply from the properly treated Detroit Water and Sewerage Department water (from Lake Huron and the Detroit River), to the Flint River.

Christian Keyes Slammed Harvey In Epic Video Message

Well now, actor, Christian Keyes, done opened up a virtual can of whoop a$$ on Steve! First, Christian started his video by saying directly to Harvey, “Kinda disappointed man, that you find that joke-worthy.” He went on to slam Steve for making light of such a dire situation, by pointing out the massive lead poisoning (9,000 cases in Flint since the water crisis began) and the many kids who are having developmental problems as a result of the polluted water Flint residents are being forced to drink and utilize in their homes.

Keyes also made note of how the Flint community has supported Steve through thick and thin, even when they may not have really had the access means to do so, they still did.

“We’ve supported you through a lotta stuff man.” said Christian. But he ended his video message with an epic ending, by telling Steve Harvey: “This is the perfect time for you to lift up that heavy ass mustache of yours and apologize” to the people of Flint, Michigan. We all know that comedians, such as Harvey, are trained to push the envelope. However, one would think that the amount of heat Steve’s been catching lately with his questionable moves- starting with his support of Donald Trump- that he’d be a wee bit more carefully censored these days. So uh…Harvey if you, or your people, are reading this, hopefully they’ll advise you to speak up and explain yourself for this one, because Christian Keyes does have a point, just saying.
