The Internet Is On Fire After Whoopi Checks Meghan McCain For Dissin’ Their Co-Host Joy Behar

Posted On : April 8, 2019

As soon as the show kicked off on Monday, the ladies were discussing the sudden Sunday resignation of Trump’s Homeland Security Secretary, Kirstjen Nielsen.

Meghan McCain proceeded to give her lengthy take on how she believes Trump’s handling of immigration will be one of his winning points for 2020, if “we sit here and act like there isn’t a crisis,” also stating that it’s not only “crazy people living in border states” who are worried about it.

Then Joy pointed out that acting DHS Secretary, Kevin McAleenan, would like to send aid to Central American countries, stating that would be “the way to solve the problem,” as opposed to Trump’s way of locking kids and families up in cages and building a wall.

Meghan rudely tried speak over Joy, interjecting with this- “Give a Nicaraguan a house? We’ve had a bunch of liberal guests who don’t want to send in aid at all.”

Joy Behar quickly put Meghan in her place, stating “I’ve listened to you, let me finish.”

And that’s when Meghan delivered the ultimate disrespect to Joy: “It’s part of your job to listen to me.”

The crowd gasped and Joy hit Meghan with the illest side-eye that had the ‘Lil-girl-I-will-molly-whop-you-all-up-and-down-this-set-if-you-keep-playing-with-me’ expression written all over it.

Whoopi, quickly noticing it was about to get ugly, jumped in to check the hell outta Meghan with this:

“Here’s what’s not gonna happen today—we’re not gonna do this,” said Whoopi. “Everybody gets a conversation piece, everybody gets to say their piece, and we don’t need to comment if we don’t like what we’re hearing. Just let folks talk.”

Meghan didn’t say much else and by that point, Joy was so heated with her, that it killed her vibe for a few seconds. But then she put her professional face back on and continued her point, as did the other co-hosts, who were clearly caught off guard by Meghan’s statement as well.

About I Love Old School Music

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
