Jamie Foxx Mourns The Death Of Singer Who Died After Appearing On His TV Show

Jamie Foxx and Fans Saddened By Smith’s Death…
Although fans were absolutely loving the vibes and ultimate win of Alan Smith and Taheem Taj Jay on Monday’s Beat Shazam episode, toward the end of the show they were informed that the contestant they’d cheered for had died suddenly. Many soon flocked to social media to  offer their condolences, including Jamie Foxx, who tweeted the following message:

“For those of you who watched tonight’s episode, as you may have seen, Alan is no longer with us. We are thankful we met this wonderful spirit. He came to our show, shared his light and we are deeply saddened. Praying for Taheem, his family and sending our condolences. #BeatShazam.” -Jamie Foxx

Alan Smith’s Group Member Speaks Out…
It’s unclear what Alan’s cause of death was, but his group member, Taj Jay, had this to say about his passing and Beat Shazam appearance:

First and foremost I’d like to thank everyone who tuned in and showed their love last night . The episode was a success….
