According to K. Michelle, the singer has been “loving herself properly” lately. In one of her Instagram posts, she mentions as follows:

“You’ll never be good enough for a person who isn’t good enough for you! Weird but true.”

So with this in mind, K. Michelle has been focused on herself and her kids. As mentioned, the singer has twins on the way via surrogacy. BET reports that the artist let her fans know — in 2017, following a lupus diagnosis — she was struggling with infertility issues.

The source says she found a woman in Atlanta to carry her twins. Reportedly, the carrier is a mother of triplets as well. BET also mentions that K. Michelle chose the woman because multiple births run in the woman’s family.
