If you didn’t know, K. Michelle is also a restaurateur. She’s the owner of Puff & Petals Lounge, located on Edgewood Avenue in Atlanta, Georgia. According to the singer, “popularity doesn’t sell hot food.” Apparently, she’s learned this the hard way.

“Being a restaurant owner is something that I thought was easy. It’s honestly been 1 of the most stressful unrewarding experiences of my life. Lol,” K. Michelle laughingly states via Instagram. “Seriously, but for some strange reason I love it! What it did teach me was dedication and proved that popularity doesn’t sell hot food!”

The singer calls her restaurant her baby. But on top of this, the singer says she has another “baby” coming…from the studio.

“This year I have two little babies on the way, well 3 with the new restaurant. Sheesh well 4, newbies with this album. I’m living life for once with no drama just prayer, focus, and hard work.”
