Reality Star Daughter Pays Touching Tribute To James…

Although we’ve watched the rocky relationship between James Debarge and his 20-something year ld daughter, Kristinia Debarge, play out on Growing Up Hip Hop, he still received a touching Father’s Day message from her recently. Kristinia took to Instagram to pay homage to her Pops for Father’s Day 2019, with this touching message and throwback photo:

Relatable Pains & Struggles…

Unfortunately, James and several of his ten siblings have been to hell and back throughout their lives. It all stemmed from their days growing up as biracial children, in a rough section of Detroit, MI, with an abusive Caucasian father- which is a whole ‘nother topic, for another day.

As far as James Debarge’s drug addictions though, ironically, his former brother-in-law, Michael Jackson, was able to relate to him probably more than he knew. Thankfully, MJ was there that day to be the shoulder for James to lean on in the midst of his struggle. Long live the King of Music, Michael Jackson.
