Growing up in the 80’s and early 90’s, Nintendo ruled the gaming community. One of its most famous games was “Mike Tyson’s Punch Out.” Well, they’re remaking the game, and Mike isn’t in it at all.

How can you have “Mike Tyson’s Punch Out” without Mike Tyson? Well, simple. Rename the game to just “Punch Out.” According to Boxing News and Views, that’s exactly what’s happening.

And Mike isn’t happy about it…

According to the source, Tyson claims Nintendo is coming out with a new version of the game. Via Twitter, he mentioned as follows.

“[sic] heard @Nintendo was doing the new ‘Punch Out’ without even contacting me. it wont be the same. my knockouts made the game. thats whack.”

If you remember the game, Mike Tyson was the final boss to defeat. And he was a heck of a challenge.

NOTE: And sure, times have changed. However, “Madden Football” is still a thing, and John Madden hasn’t played football since 1958, after his career-ending knee injury — as reports Biography. Likewise, he hasn’t coached since 1978.

Bet You Don’t Know Mike Tyson Is In ‘Street Fighter’ Too>>>
