Rihanna hit her Daddy with a lawsuit back in January 2019, which is still pending. According to Daily Mail, Papa Fenty was out here cuttin’ up with their family’s name and using RiRi’s fame to falsely pocket some change…or more like hundreds of thousands of dollars. Peep the details below:
Via DM– In legal papers first obtained by The Blast in January, the singer, born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, alleged Ronald is seeking to profit from her fame, and that along with a business partner, Moses Perkins, he has been soliciting business by falsely acting as her agent.
Despite having no authority to act on his daughter’s behalf, Ronald is said to have booked her on a $15million tour in Latin America and two concerts, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for $400,000. Rihanna asked for damages from her father, and an injunction on his business, set up in 2017.
What in the entire hell Papa Fenty?!! If Rihanna’s allegations are true (which they probably are), did Ronald Fenty really think he was NOT gonna get busted for booking a $15 MILLION Rihanna tour without her consent?
Being a businessperson does require one to take risks, but the key is to do so legally. Seems like Mr. Fenty may have been gettin’ a tad too overzealous with his uh…ambitions.
