Pras Michel Says Can’t Pay $4800 Month in Child Support, But His Extravagant Instagram Life Says Something Else

Posted On : April 13, 2019

In the 1990’s super group The Fugees could do no wrong with their hip hop classics “Fu Gee La”, “Nappy Heads”, “Ready Or Not” and their timeless rendition of the Roberta Flack classic “Killing Me Softly”. Since that time the members of the group have gone on to successful solo careers, with Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean skyrocketing to superstar status. Pras has also seen impressive amounts of success with his solo career, and that success is getting him in trouble since his opulent Instagram feed showcases a life that’s far beyond the one he’s claiming in child support court.

Ghetto Superstar

Many will automatically point to Lauryn Hill as the breakout star from The Fugees, however Pras and Wyclef have made many strides and provided hits of their own for the culture. Who can forget Pras’ hit single “Ghetto Superstar” featuring Mya and the late, great emcee Ol’ Dirty Bastard? To this day if you play that song people will start grooving and singing along with the lyrics.

Pras is currently facing his child’s mother in court attempting to lower his $4,800 payment down to $500. The only problem with that is his lifestyle on social media portrays that of a man who can easily pay almost five stacks a month in child support.
