Introducing the father of Quincy Jones’ newest grandbaby, Ezra Koenig. As you can see, from a physical standpoint, he’s nothing like the music icon, but they do have some things in common. Rashida’s man is also an entertainer- a musician, singer-songwriter, record producer, playwright and Apple Music radio host. He’s even been nominated for a Grammy Award for his work on Beyoncé’s “Lemonade,” album in 2016.

Rashida and her boo-thang have dated since 2017. We will not be showing any photos of their son, Isaiah, because to date, they not want any images of him shared publicly at this point. We respect that.

At any rate, we wanna send a very belated congrats to the happy couple and to Quincy Jones on his new grandbaby.

Why Rashida Suddenly Quit “Toy Story 4” Deal, But Is Still Getting Paid

In 2017, we reported that Rashida Jones and her writing partner, Will McCormack, had suddenly quit the presumably lucrative deal for their work on Pixar and Walt Disney Animated Studios film, Toy Story 4. At that time, Rashida and Will revealed that they’d quit in the middle of writing the script, because reportedly Pixar was not ensuring that women and people of color were equally respected at their corporation.

In a public statement, Rashida and Will urged Pixar “to be leaders in bolstering, hiring and promoting more diverse and female storytellers and leaders.” They added, “We parted ways because of creative and, more importantly, philosophical differences. There is so much talent at Pixar, and we remain enormous fans of their films. However, it is also a culture where women and people of color do not have an equal creative voice.”

Rashida later stated, “All I can be is myself, and speak up and be honest when I feel things don’t reflect the world as it today. As a corporation, you will be held accountable.”

Toy Story 4 was just released on June 20, 2019, and MadameNoire has pointed out that although, Rashida may have been done dirty by Disney’s subsidiary company, Pixar, she’s still getting paid from it. According to the publication, Rashida’s name is listed on the animated film’s credits, despite the fact that she publicly chin-checked the studio house for their alleged disrespect.

That’s a BOSS move right there! Quincy must be proud, just as her beloved late mother, actress Peggy Lipton, was. Do you thing Rashida!

We salute the incredible people and beautiful memories of that "old school". We’re not saying that every artist and every facet of the soul era was perfect, but the artists’ contributions to soul music and the old school memories of that particular time are PRICELESS.
