Hours after R. Kelly turned himself in on Friday (Feb. 22) night, he got partially good news in court on Saturday, and his two young girlfriends were right there for support. It was originally reported that Kelly would be taken into custody on a ‘no-bail arrest,’ meaning he would have to remain in Cook County jail until his trial. However, the judge decided to give him a bond hearing on Saturday instead, and set his bail at $1 MILLION dollars.

That’s partially good news for R. Kelly, because he has an option to make bail right now. But the bad news for R. Kelly, is that he ain’t got it like that at this time…it’s “complicated,” according to Kelly’s attorney.

Anywho, despite the 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse he’s charged with, R. Kelly’s girlfriends were happy to support him during his bond hearing. Azriel Clary’s and Joycelyn Savage’s parents have accused them of being his ‘brainwashed sex slaves,’ which both young ladies denied.

On Saturday, the Azriel and Joycelyn looked hella happy to be at the courthouse for the “Bump N’ Grind” singer. They were photographed smiling and holding hands as they walked into the courtroom…

After exiting they were also video’d, as paparazzi followed them and R. Kelly’s crew to their car…check out the video below…

Following R. Kelly’s bond hearing, his attorney, Steven Greenberg, had a heated back n’ forth with a reporter, who accused him of misquoting one for the victims. Then Greenberg accused the reporter of trying to sell books and all hell broke lose from there. Peep the video below…

In the video below, State Attorney Kim Foxx also spoke outside the courthouse, offering more details about the charges against R. Kelly. Prosecuting attorney, Michael Avenatti, stepped in to blast R. Kelly’s attorney, Greenberg, for calling the victims “liars,” and more…

As far as R. Kelly’s “complicated” financial position, word on the Old School curb is that his accounts have been frozen by authorities, but that has yet to be confirmed. Even still, sources in his inner circle, say he will be able to get the $100,000 (of the $1M bond) he needs to cough up in order to get out of jail before his trial.

We’ll keep y’all posted on this.
