According to Rihanna’s lawsuit, Ronald Fenty and his company booked Rihanna for a fake $15million tour in Latin America, as well as two concerts- at the Staples Center in L.A., and the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, in which his company reportedly pocketed $400,000.00.
Pop’s Trademark Jack Move Attempt
Rihanna says her dad tried to jack the name, “Fenty,” in 2018, by attempting to trademark it for a line of boutiques and hotels, but he was shut ALL the way down by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
He Fake Represented Roc Nation Too?
Rihanna also claims that her Pops lied about his company representing business deals for the label Rihanna’s signed to, the Jay Z owned Roc Nation….Laaaawd.
Rihanna’s Cease & Desist Didn’t Stop Him
After the aforementioned actions, Rihanna had it up to HERE with her Daddy’s get-rich-quick shenanigans and popped off a cease and desist letter to his Fenty Entertainment company, but says he still didn’t cease his scams. So she had no choice but to sue him…and here we are today.
