Many of us old school R&B fans once believed Guy member, Aaron Hall, was the laid-back, romantic, R&B crooner type. However, ever since social media emerged, giving Aaron the opportunity to let his true light shine, we’ve learned otherwise.

Those beautiful love songs Aaron sang back in the day were just that — songs — and not exactly a complete representation of who Aaron, the man, is. He’s really one of the rawest and uncensored R&B cats out there, who cusses up a storm, and will tell it like it is, no matter who gets offended by it…which brings us to his thoughts on R.Kelly. And this time, it has nothing to do with Kelly’s recent conviction…apparently Aaron Hall wasn’t diggin’ Kelly long before that.

AARON HALL’S SHADE: “R. KELLY STOLE MY STYLE, BUT CAN’T TOUCH MY SWAG”

Aaron Hall’s diss occurred during a now-deleted video interview with CarltonJordan.com, and it’s from a while back, but still very entertaining nonetheless. Why? Because while speaking on R.Kelly and other R&B dudes, let’s just say *in R. Kelly’s voice* Aaron Hall’s ‘mind was telling him noooooo, but his ego, his EGO was telling him YE-E-EEEES!’ Aaron ‘ain’t tryna hurt nobody, but there is something that he must CONFE-E-E-ESSSSS!‘ And that is, that R. Kelly jacked his entire style…at least, according to A. Hall he did.

Peep Aaron’s throwback excerpts below. He also threw shade at singer, Trey Songz; and singer/producer, The Dream, in true classic Aaron-Hall-fashion.

Aaron Hall: “I know a lot of people out there are saying that R. Kelly stole my style,” Hall said. “But remember he can’t touch my swagger. I got that old school swag, that ’80s swag, and ain’t nobody touching that.”

He continued:

“You should never get mad when someone copies your style, you should feel flattered because everyone knows where they got it from. Like [R.Kelly], he can’t get dropped off in the streets because the streets love me and they know a thief when they see one. Shout out to thieves because I love them.”

His thoughts on The Dream and Trey Songz at that time:

“…As far as music goes, he [The Dream] needs to lose some weight. He writes good songs, but he definitely needs to slim down and I hope he sees this. …

As far as Trey Songz…I’m glad he’s got R. Kelly by the headlock, copying his style, but the king of R&B, nobody can touch my vocals.”

Oop! And there ya’ have I Love Old School Music fam’…Aaron Hall said what he said. Granted, R. Kelly, nor Trey Songz and The Dream probably do not like Aaron Hall’s views of them…but we have a strong feeling that Aaron doesn’t quite give a damn.

And besides, when it comes to the “Bump ‘N Grind” crooner…he has much bigger issues on his hands at this time — like the 30-year prison bid he’s just began serving at MDC Brooklyn. Just sayin.’ 🤷🏾‍♂️

He said he’d met Gloria in a club around 1995, and that three days later she had his name tattooed right above her bikini line (if y’all catch my drift).

During that same interview, Aaron Hall also disclosed that he loves his son very much, but unfortunately he hadn’t seen him in 15 years. The good news is that now, they have reconnected and appear to have a cool father/son relationship…

Like we mentioned earlier, the rocky past Aaron IV had with his pops, Aaron Hall, has clearly mended. What’s even cooler about their reunion, is that Aaron Hall has opened up an avenue for his son to gain musical knowledge, by allowing him to tour with Guy on the road…

Although we, Guy fans, are accustomed to the group singing about love and sexin’ up the ladies, Aaron and Damion Hall’s brother chose a totally different route from his R&B siblings.

Todd M. Hall is a pastor- and a well known one at that. He is listed as the Chief Apostle at Shabach Ministries of Praise, Inc., which his website says serves as a blueprint and guideline to many of the growing extended ministries” known as The Sabach Nation,  under the direction of Dr. Hall. Here more of his accomplishments:

Via shabachministries: In 1990, he established The Shabach Church (TSC) in Orlando, Florida…  In 2012, Dr. Hall completed his greatest philanthropic venture by donating the old club “Dudes” on S. Highland Ave., in Apopka, FL. He generously funded the project and in eight months stewards of TSC preformed the majority of the construction.

In 2005, he established The Shabach Christian Church Fellowship (SCCF) and serves as the spiritual voice navigating a select group of pastors and churches within the United States. In addition, he mentors many seeking a “spiritual father”, leadership, and wisdom in the gospel through The Shabach Son’s and Daughter’s (TSSD) outreach program.

A while back we shared with y’all the very entertaining interview Aaron did with Vlad TV, in which he revealed that their father, Aaron Hall Jr., was a minister and their  Grandfather, Aaron Hall Sr., did a lil’ pimpin’ on the side. During that interview, shortly before he labeled his penis a “historical di*k, Aaron first explained how he ended up being so vastly different from their preacher Pops:

Via Vlad TV– “My father’s a pastor, so the whole thing is that…my Grandfather being a pimp, it’s just like…I’m third generation, I’m Aaron Hall the 3rd and my father is Aaron Hall Jr., so I just skipped over it [becoming a minister] like Checkers (LOL).”

Though we’re certain that none of the Hall siblings condone pimpin’ women, their Grandfather’s and Father’s backgrounds does help to explain how the siblings managed to find their life’s calling in two very different worlds- because they apparently grew up in both.

Nonetheless, Pastor Todd  M. Hall is continuing to live a righteous life according to his Christian beliefs, while doing his due diligence to help his church members. Aaron and Damion are still fulfilling their true callings as entertainers and while at it, Damion is out here showing these youngins how it’s really done with his chiseled up physique at 52 years young.

In a recent Instagram Live video, Damion Hall revealed that he has EIGHT children and two grandbabies total. From the looks of it, he’s not just his kids’ Father, he’s their Daddy- there’s a difference, as we all know. The Guy crooner oftentimes shares photos of himself happily spending father-child time with his babies and for his 51st, that is precisely what he did with two of his beautiful daughters and his two eldest sons.

He shared photos of them all and captioned his birthday post with this loving message about his seeds:
