In case y’all haven’t heard, Bill Cosby’s retrial against sex assault accuser, Andrea Constand, has just started. Everything had been going smoothly each day Cosby entered into the PA courthouse to proceed with the case…until now. So, what had happened was on Monday morning, Cosby was walking into the courthouse, flanked by his publicists and police officers, as camera crews and civilians stood by watching. Things took a sharp turn left and ultimately caused Cosby and his crew to briefly make a sharp U-turn in the opposite direction.

A topless woman, rockin’ nothing but her ‘fro, a pair of jeans, and body paint that spelled out several names of alleged sex assault victims, jumped over the barricades, right into the path of Cosby as he was walking toward the courthouse entrance. She seemed to frighten 80 year old Cosby, as she jumped out shouting, “Women’s lives matter!” Cops instantly tackled her into a nearby bush, while handcuffing her, as Cosby and his team looked on in shock. She was ultimately charged with disorderly conduct. Check out the videos below to see what happened next…

Who Is This Woman?

The topless protester turned out to be former “Cosby Show” actress, Nicolle Rochelle, who appeared several times on the show as “Rudy Huxtable’s” friend, “Davina” (pictured below). She’s also starred in other 80’s/90’s/early 2000’s roles in “Shining Time Station” (1989), “Tales from the Darkside: The Movie” (1990) and “Someone Like You…” (2001), “Third Watch, Law & Order,” and a few more. Rochelle’s most recent known work was in a Paris based musical, in which she portrayed the late Josephine Baker from 2006 to 2010.

These days, it’s unclear what she’s doing now, but as y’all can see from the above video, she had nothing to lose when she willingly got arrested topless on Monday morning. As a matter of fact, it’s probably safe to assume that her latest Cosby protest has just put her back on the map and we’ll probably be hearing from her in an interview(s) soon. We’ll keep y’all posted on this.

Other “Cosby Show” Stars Have Mixed Reactions About Sex Scandal

As we’ve previously reported, several former “Cosby Show” stars have spoken out regarding the many women who have accused Cosby of sexual assault since 2015. Their reactions have range from support of Cosby, to ‘yep he did it’ type responses. Here’s a quick recap of a few of them:
Malcolm Jamal Warner (“Theo):

Malcolm suggested that people use caution, regarding the Cosby sex scandal allegations and media coverage. “The media has really helped make it such a big circus, and there are so many things that are thrown into the pot that things get really muddy,” Warner said on SiriusXM’s “Conversations with Maria Menounos.” “And there are so many levels to what’s going on that people are led to believe one thing when it’s not as black or white as people think it may be.”

Lisa Bonet (“Denice”):

Lisa alluded that she has fishy suspicions about Cosby. ““There was no knowledge on my part about his specific actions, but… There was just energy. And that type of sinister, shadow energy cannot be concealed,” Bonet said in a PorterEdit interview. […] “I don’t need to say, ‘I told you so’,” she says about Cosby’s current sex assault scandal. “I just leave all that to karma and justice and what will be.”

Keshia Knight Pulliam (“Rudy”):

When asked why she accompanied Cosby to his 2017 trial against Andrea Constand, Keshia stated,”It was important for me to be there because at the end of the day, I believe you’re innocent until proven guilty. And that’s not the man that I ever experienced.”

Following the untimely passing of Bill and Camille Cosby’s daughter, Ensa Cosby (43), it’s only natural that many are now curious about the many unknown details of the Cosby children. In the midst of various tidbits of info that have surfaced about Ensa, more info is now resurfacing about her private siblings as well. The Cosby’s had 5 children total (daughters, Ensa, Erinn (51), Evin (41), Ericka (52), and deceased son, Ennis). In particular, there’s one resurfaced topic that’s caught the attention of many- that one rare time when the typically private Bill Cosby (80) and his other daughter, Errin, put their then estranged relationship on public display.

Although Bill and Erinn, are said to be on good terms these days, back in the day, “good” was the least likely adjective one would use to describe their relationship. In fact, they had no problem voicing their then disdain for each other in dual interviews, which have now resurfaced as the world curiously uncovers more about the Cosby fam.’

Cosby’s Daughter, Erinn’s, Addictions Were Exposed

In October 1989, the national Enquirer broke the story that Erinn Cosby was battling a cocaine and alcohol addiction. It also reported that Erinn had just checked out of a rehab facility that same year and that she’d spoken with the publication about her problems and her father. “Looking back,” Erinn state in the N.E. article, “I can’t believe how Dad managed to go on with his show every week, portraying America’s favorite father while having a daughter like me causing so much pain.” Bill Cosby also told the National Enquirer in that same article that “Deep down inside, she knows we love her.”

Bill Cosby On Why He Once Banned Troubled Daughter From Their Home

A few months later though, in December 1989, Bill Cosby did an interview with LA Times, in which he spoke candidly about his then 23 year old daughter, Erinn, and her troubled ways. He pretty much showed her tough love, in an attempt to force her to get her mind right and he made no qualms about the fact that he was pissed off with her at that time.

Bill Cosby (via LA Times, 1989): “We have four other children. This particular daughter [Erinn Cosby] appears to be the only one who is really very selfish. It isn’t that we hang our heads or that we’re embarrassed by this[ her drug rehab stint], because we’ve been living with this person who knows that her problem isn’t cocaine or alcohol. I think that she’s a child who has refused to take responsibility for supporting herself.

“One of the things I said to her is that every child in this house can become whatever he or she wants to become, if they do it through college or university. Get your undergraduate degree and hopefully go on to graduate school. … You don’t have to worry how you’ll pay your rent, or your car, or your food. You even get a paid vacation. …

“But since 14, Erinn has always said, ‘I have to be me.’ Fine. When she graduated high school, I said, ‘Obviously you have a better idea of what you wanna be.’ She’s 23 now. She’s never held down a job, never kept an apartment for more than six months. She never finishes anything. She uses her boy friends. She wants the finer things but she can’t stand anybody else’s dirt, which is important. Developmentally, she’s still around 11 years old. The problem isn’t alcohol or drugs–at the rehab center her urine showed up negative. It’s behavioral. She’s very stubborn. It’s painful, not to me and Camille, but to her. It’s going to take her hitting rock bottom, where she’s totally exhausted and at that point where she can’t fight anymore. Right now we’re estranged. She can’t come here. She’s not a person you can trust. You think you’re not a good parent because you don’t answer the call. But you can’t let the kid use you.”

Erinn Cosby Then Publicly Responded To Dad’s Claims

Erinn Cosby then did a Washington Post interview, rejecting some of the claims that were made by her Pops and in other reports about her addiction:

Erinn – “I don’t consider myself that at all. Certain things I don’t want to do. I have my own way of looking at things, I took care of myself. I don’t think that is being the black sheep of the family. … I am not a Huxtable. I am not a little girl. … My parents love me. We have our differences. We do speak. … I have been on my own since I was 17.”

On her drug rehab stint:

EC- “I am like, whoa. All of a sudden I am stamped with this big drug addict thing. […] “I was not an addict. […] I wasn’t into cocaine that much. I had done it excessively a few times. But I wasn’t an addict. I wasn’t dependent.”

Thankfully, Bill Cosby and his daughter, Erinn, reportedly mended their relationship after the Cosbys’ son, Ennis, was tragically murdered in 1997. Erinn even spoke out in her father’s defense in 2017, amid the many sex assault allegations against him.

It’s been just 10 days since Bill Cosby’s daughter, Ensa Cosby, passed away at the age of44, yet for the legally troubled comedian, the show must go on. As of Monday (3/5/2018) morning, Bill was back in court for the pre-trial of his sexual assault re-trial, which initially resulted in a hung jury in 2017. The case is for the allegations of former Temple University employee, Andrea Constand, who claimed Cosby assaulted her in 2004, during one her visits to his home. On Monday, Cosby and his attorneys arrived to Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown, PA, to try to put a stop to what the prosecution just asked the judge to do. See details below…

Cosby’s Team Trying To Block Prosecution’s Hefty Request

Cosby arrived in court at approximately 9:00 a.m., on the arm of his spokesperson, Michael Wyatt. Although the 80 year old comedian is understandably in extreme grief over his daughter’s death, he and his legal team have one mission on their minds today. That is, to block the prosecution’s request to have 19 women testify, who all claim to have been sexually assaulted by Cosby.

Via Yahoo: Cosby’s lawyers are trying to prevent dozens of accusers from testifying at his April 2 sexual assault retrial. Prosecutors want to call as many as 19 women to the witness stand in an attempt to show Cosby engaged in a five-decade pattern of drugging and harming women.

It was also reported that Cosby’s lawyers want the judge ‘to limit the number of accuser witnesses again. They argue some of their claims are “virtually impossible to defend against.”‘

The accusers, whom the prosecutors are trying to get approved, apparently are not filing charges of their own against Cosby. Therefore, it is presumed that statue of limitations have kicked in on their allegations that they probably date back decades ago.

During Cosby’s 2017 trial vs. Andrea Constand, the judge only allowed the testimony of one other accuser be presented. The re-trial will be tried in front of the same judge, who presided over Cosby’s 2017 trial.

Cosby’s Daughter Laid To Rest, Husband Speaks Out

All of this is happening as Mrs.Camille Cosby, Bill and their remaining three children- daughters, Erika, 52, Erinn, 51, and Evin, 41- are grieving their beloved Ensa Cosby, who died from renal disease on February 23, 2018.

As we previously reported, Ensa’s funeral was held on Wednesday, February 28th, in a small, brief ceremony at the Cosby family home in Massachusetts. It was then that Ensa’s husband, Martin McLean (55), finally spoke out and revealed unknown details about the days leading up to her passing.

As Martin McLean was leaving the service of his beloved wife, he stopped for a brief moment to speak to DailyMail reporters, who were outside of the home. That’s when he revealed that although Ensa was battling kidney disease, her death was very sudden and shocking for the family. The reason, according to Martin, is because in the days prior to her passing, Ensa received some extremely good news that the whole family had been waiting- they’d finally found a new kidney for her and she was about to receive the transplant. Unfortunately, although Ensa was in decent health days prior, her health unexpectedly deteriorated on Friday. See details below:

Details Of Ensa’s Funeral/Burial At Cosby Home

Not only was Ensa’s private funeral (of family members only) held at the Cosby family mansion in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, but so was her burial. Although that may seem rather odd for many, to bury their child behind their home, but for the Cosby family it is a very sentimental and beautiful burial ritual. Bill and Camille first welcomed that ritual for the 1997 burial of their then 27 year old son, Ennis Cosby, who was senselessly shot and killed during a presumed botched robbery.

Ensa was buried right next to her brother, on the grounds of the family home, in a spacious section of their land, called “Ennis Garden.”

When news first surfaced that Bill Cosby’s 44 year old daughter had died on Friday, February 23rd, millions expressed their were online. Ensa died at General Hospital in Massachusetts and the news seemed to have come out of nowhere, causing many fans to search for answers about Ensa’s passing.

Although Cosby and his wife, Camille, didn’t speak out about their daughter’s untimely death, they did release a statement through their publicist a few days ago, to confirm the cause of Ensa’s death and thank everyone for their condolences:

Though little is known about Ensa’s funeral, given that only close family- including the Cosbys’ 3 remaining children, Erika, 52, Erinn, 51, and Evin, 41- were allowed to attend, there are some details- both painful and in some ways, beautiful- that we can reveal.

Prior to the funeral service, Smith-Kelleher funeral home drove the hearse that was carrying Ensa, into the side gate entrance of the 20-acre Shelburne Falls, MA home at 1.30 pm.. It was driven directly to the burial site that workers had already sealed off with tarps, to prevent paparazzi and fans from snapping pics, understandably so.

Not only was Ensa’s funeral held at the Cosby mansion, located in the secluded Shelburne Falls neighborhood, but so was her burial. Although that may seem rather odd for many, to bury their child behind their home, but for the Cosby family it is a very sentimental and beautiful burial ritual. Following the small outdoor service, which lasted just 30 minutes, Ensa was buried right next to her brother, on the grounds of the family home, in a spacious section of their land, called “Ennis Garden.” For the Cosbys, they wouldn’t have it any other way, other than to keep their daughter and their son together. It’s also been reported that Bill Cosby has been known to oftentimes sit outside, next to Ennis’ grave and have lengthy conversations with him for hours. Now, sadly he will be talking to both his son and his daughter- his fifth and fourth born children, respectively.

‘Ennis Garden’ is strategically hidden from roadside view, behind a large barn on the family’s property. So the Cosby family has the freedom to visit their deceased family members in peace at any time.

What The World Didn’t Know About Cosby’s Daughter, Ensa

Ensa, like her siblings, was a private person, who chose to live a ‘normal’ life away from the spotlight, so there is much about her that the world doesn’t know. Here are a few facts:

1. According to her husband, Martin McLean, “She loved nature, she loved feeding the animals around here, there is great nature around here. She was an artist. She was also a chef.”

2. Ensa and Martin were married for four years. Here they are on their wedding day…

3. She worked as a professional yoga instructor.

4. Ensa Cosby had one daughter from a previous relationship. She and husband, Martin, had no kids together, but they raised Ensa’s daughter as a couple.

5. Sadly, Ensa husband and Mr. and Mrs. Cosby have something in common- they both have sons who were murdered. MailOnline revealed that Martin’s son was brutally murdered in 2015. His friend actually stabbed him to death approximately 70 times.

Ensa & Her Sisters Stood Up For Their Dad

Although Ensa may have preferred staying away from the spotlight, when it came to defending her father against the countless sexual assault allegations that have surfaced, she did just that. As we previously reported, in May 2017, Ensa boldly stood up for her pops, by reaching out to Charlamagne the God of ‘The Breakfast Club’ radio show with this statement:

“The accusations against my father have been one-sided from the beginning. When he tried to defend himself, he was sued in civil court. I’ve seen the accusations become more horrific and extreme with time and I’ve witnessed my father’s reputation and legendary works be dismissed without any proof. I strongly believe my father is innocent of the crimes that are alleged against him and I believe that racism has played a big role in all aspects of this scandal. How the charges came against him, how people believed them before they were ever scrutinized or tested, how people who questioned the claims were shut down and ignored,” Ensa Cosby said.

“The media created the story and the outcome before any court will ever test the claims. How my father is being punished by a society that still believes that black men rape white women that passes off as ‘boys will be boys’ when white men are accused. How the politics of our country prove my disgust. My father has been publicly lynched in the media. My family, my young daughter, my young niece and nephew have had to stand helplessly by and watch the double standards of pretending to protect the rights of some, but ignoring the rights of others and exposing innocent children to such appalling accusations about someone they love dearly and who has been so loving and kind to them is beyond cruel.”- Ensa Cosby

We have extremely tragic news to report, ILOSM family. Bill Cosby’s daughter, Ensa Cosby, has suddenly passed away at the age of just 44 years old.

Via Associated Press– Bill Cosby’s 44-year-old daughter Ensa Cosby died Friday in Massachusetts from kidney disease, a spokesman for the comedian said Monday. Spokesman Andrew Wyatt asked for prayers for the Cosby family and that the family be given peace at this time. He didn’t provide any other details.

Details Of Ensa Cosby’s Death

Via TMZ: Bill Cosby’s daughter, Ensa, who steadfastly supported her dad through his legal troubles, has died … TMZ has learned. […] The 44-year-old died Friday night in Massachusetts … sources tell TMZ.
The cause of death is unknown, although we’re told she had significant medical issues in the past. We’re told she had kidney issues and possibly was in line for a transplant.

Ensa Stood Up For Her Dad Against Allegations

This is SO incredibly sad and our deepest condolences go out to Camille and Bill Cosby, as well as their family. Ensa is the second child they’ve lost. In 1997, their son Ennis Cosby was murdered during a robbery. Ensa Cosby, rest peacefully queen and may Ennis continue to the same.

Evin Cosby Speaks On Toll The Allegations Have Taken On Their Family & Her Brother’s Death

In a lengthy open letter daughter, Evin Cosby, released through NNPA Newswire, titled A Commentary By Evin Cosby, she defended her dad as well. She also revealed how hard the sex assault allegations have been on their family and how her father was accused after her brother, Ennis Cosby was murdered during a robbery in 1997:

“I am the youngest of five. I remember our family trips and moving to NYC just so we could be closer to my father as he worked. From the time he worked in Las Vegas to the Cosby show in NYC, he always wanted us to be close, to be a part of his whole life, at home and on stage.

I felt loved and remembered loving the moments that my parents shared with us by exposing us to all types of people from all walks of life. We grew up appreciating my father’s success because we knew the prejudice and racism he endured getting to where he got and how hard he worked for our family.

Because I loved my childhood, I couldn’t wait to have a family of my own. I have two amazing children who love their grandfather. I already work hard as a single mother, with no full-time help, and with a career in fashion design, I am lucky that I have supportive friends that I call family because my children and I need that support.”

On How The Allegations Correlate w/Her Brother’s Murder & Several Cases Being Dismissed…

“When people are so quick to cast hate, and make accusations of horrific violence against my dad, they are callous in their carelessness about the harm they are causing to others. I thought when my brother Ennis was murdered, that was the worst nightmare of all time.

It’s so hurtful to this day. I try to block out the day he was killed, but that pain has only worsened in these last years. For some reason, my family’s pain has been a trigger for people to seize upon us harder. On the same day that Ennis was murdered, a woman came out claiming that my father had a ‘love child.’ She was arrested for extortion. She was not my father’s daughter. On the day I gave birth to my son, another women came out, but that case was dismissed too – the district attorney investigated her claims also and didn’t press charges.”

On How The Allegations Against Her Dad Seem Fishy…

“Two years ago, and over 10 years later, several women came out. Like the woman from 2005, they claimed to have been raped and drugged. But, like the one from 2005, their stories didn’t match up. Instead of going through the criminal justice system, these stories never got investigated and just got repeated. They have been accepted as the truth. My dad tried to defend himself. His lawyers tried to defend him, but they all got sued.”

On Her Father & Famous Friends Being Silenced From Publicly Speaking Out…

“People were constantly reaching out to me about why doesn’t your dad say something. I kept saying he’s trying, but the media is only interested in the stories of the women. Friends of ours tried to help, but the media wouldn’t print what they said or knew. Our friends that spoke up were pressured to shut up. No one wanted to print their supportive words.

We are told that we have fundamental rights to be innocent until proven guilty. But, if enough people think you are a bad person, you are branded a bad person and the media just reinforces that.”

On Why Her Dad Deserves Fair Chance To Be Heard…

“My dad, like anyone in this country, deserves to be treated fairly under the law. My dad broke barriers and raised the conscious of America on important topics, especially for the advancement of women. On ‘The Cosby Show’ he only depicted women as smart and accomplished. On ‘The Cosby Show’ and on ‘A Different World,’ he took on then taboo subjects like menstrual cycles and rape, and even did a show on AIDS before anyone else would bring it up.

I am his fourth daughter. He raised me to go to college, start my own business, and be my own woman. He is helping me raise my children and teach them family values. I know that my father loves me, loves my sisters and my mother. He loves and respects women. He is not abusive, violent or a rapist. Sure, like many celebrities tempted by opportunity, he had his affairs, but that was between him and my mother. They have worked through it and moved on, and I am glad they did for them and for our family.

The harsh and hurtful accusations of things that supposedly happened 40 or 50 years ago, before I was born, in another lifetime, and that have been carelessly repeated as truth without allowing my dad to defend himself and without requiring proof, has punished not just my dad but every one of us. They have punished the talented people who were still earning money and feeding their families from my dad’s shows and work.

The United States version of Celebrity Big Brother looks like it will definitely be interesting to say the least. For those who missed it, yesterday we reported about former Cosby Show star Keshia Knight-Pulliam’s first clash with Omarosa Manigault. During the premiere, the two outspoken women found themselves embroiled in a heated political debate where Omarosa attempted to take a subliminal jab at Keshia. Of course, Keshia wasn’t having it and apparently one of her former co-stars isn’t here for it either.

Defending Keshia:

According to TMZ, Malcolm Jamal Warner also feels some kind of way about Omarosa’s attempt to compare Keshia’s loyalty to Bill Cosby to her relationship with Donald Trump. Keshia argued that Omarosa’s argument was similar to comparing apples and oranges. Warner also agrees. In fact, it appears Omarosa’s words also hit hone for him. When TMZ caught up with Malcolm, he wasted no time sharing his opinion.

“With us, Mr. Cosby was part of our lives. It’s like having your dad get in some trouble … like have some shit go sown with your dad and that’s family. You’re not gonna be like, you know, just be out!”

He continued, “I think the issue with us is that everyone expected us to throw Mr. Cosby under the bus, but that family.”

“There’s nothing different that we know about Trump that we didn’t (know) before hand (on the campaign trail). So, I think it’s really hard to compare the two.”

She Tried It:

Although Omarosa has repeatedly tried to clear her name by insisting she was only interested in working for the Trump administration for the sake of the country, people just ain’t buying it. In fact, most African-Americans definitely aren’t tryin’ to hear anything Omarosa has to say.

Bill Cosby (80) has been pretty much laying low as he prepares for his upcoming Spring 2018 retrial against Andrea Constand, the woman who accused him of sexual assault. Their first trial resulted in a hung jury, after jurors deliberated for many hours, but could not come to a conclusive agreement that the evidence placed before them proved Cosby was guilty.

Ever since the announcement of the retrial, Cosby and his legal team have been preparing to go back in front of a jury and judge, thus Cosby (and his wife’s) reclusiveness from the public’s eye.

That reclusiveness is why Cosby’s Wednesday night outing at Philadelphia’s Old City at Ristorante La Veranda restaurant caught the attention of many. Well, that and the fact that Cosby invited several reporters to come hang out with him, his two publicists, and a friend, during the dinner.

Everything seemed all good, as Cosby and his friend, as well as fellow patrons of the restaurant, chopped it up about various topics. It looked so pleasant, that for a few minutes, it seemed like the old charming pre-sex-assault-allegations-Cosby. However, that since of nostalgia and reportedly came to a slight albeit screeching halt, when a reporter brought up the currently popular #MeToo movement.

The #MeToo movement represents the countless women who have now stepped forward, within the past few months, to reveal that they have been sexually assaulted by various men, including several powerful men in Hollywood, such as Harvey Weinstein.

So, of course when the reporter asked Cosby how he felt about the #MeToo, he didn’t want any parts of that discussion, according to ABC News. Here’s what was just reported about how Cosby apparently checked a reporter over their #MeToo question:

One reporter says he shook her hand and said “Please don’t put me on #MeToo,” the social media movement denouncing sexual assault. He told her, “I just shook your hand like a man.”

Not 100% certain why Cosby didn’t wanna talk bout the #MeToo topic, but it ain’t hard to make a lucky guess for that answer. Anywho, I’m assuming that reporter will know what not to ask him next time…or better yet, maybe she’ll know what to ask more of.

For years, Bill Cosby has adamantly denied all of the rape allegations that have been brought against him. The former Cosby Show star has been accused of rape so many times, most people have lost count of all of the allegations. But despite all of the claims, no alleged victim has managed to win in court against Bill – until now. According to The Blast, Janice Dickinson, the former supermodel who accused Cosby of drugging and raping her back in the 80s, just scored a major legal victory against the comedian/actor.

The Back Story:

For those who don’t know much about the drama between Janice Dickinson and Bill Cosby, they’ve been going back and forth with this legal battle for quite some time. Dickinson previously filed a defamation lawsuit against Bill Cosby after he allegedly called her a liar following the rape allegations. Then, his attorney Marty Singer also echoed his sentiments during a press conference, which apparently made matters worse. Initially, Dickinson’s lawsuit was dismissed but her appeal has received a relatively different response.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Singer released a statement arguing that Dickinson’s claim was “fabricated and is an outrageous defamatory lie.” However, he didn’t stop there. He also threatened to file a lawsuit against Good Morning America if they aired the segment that would have allowed her to share her side of the story with the world. The next day, he said, once again, that Dickinson’s story was a lie. At the time, Singer had sent around a demand letter to several media outlets in hopes of silencing Dickinson. At the time, Bill Cosby argued that the demand letter was more of an opinion “based on fully disclosed facts.”

“Cosby takes the position that the demand letter is not actionable as it is simply Singer’s opinion, based on fully disclosed facts,” states the decision. “We disagree. As we shall explain, nearly every factor of the totality of the circumstances test points strongly toward the conclusion that a reasonable fact finder could conclude the demand letter states or implies a provably false assertion of fact – specifically, that Cosby did not rape Dickinson, and she is lying when she says that he did.”

Appeal Won:

Now today, an appellate court has issued an order claiming that the lower court made a grave error when Dickinson’s case was previously dismissed. Apparently, she did offer enough evidence to prove her case had merit where the demand letter was concerned. However, the appellate court did decide to uphold the lower court’s decision to dismiss Dickinson’s claims about the press release.

“At least for purposes of the present appeal, Cosby has waived any argument that Singer was not acting as his agent when he made the statements at issue in this case. When someone is publicly accused of rape, is asked for a response, and sends back a letter from counsel saying, ‘the alleged rape never happened,’ it is reasonable for the recipient of the letter to infer that the accused is, in fact, denying the rape.”

Comedian/radio personality, Steve Harvey, and Bill Cosby go way back like Cracker Jacks. So much so, that according to Harvey, Cosby did a very interesting thing to protect him in recent years. It all started after Cosby became the center of controversy, following the many sexual assault allegations that surfaced against him.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Harvey discussed what it’s been like watching a man who is like his hero, go through the legal troubles he’s having now. In discussing that, Steve revealed why Cosby told him to “stay away” from him.

Harvey recalled what Cosby demanded he do, in order to protect him:

“When I heard all the trouble he [Cosby] was in, I called and asked him how he was doing. You know what he says to me? ‘Hey man, I appreciate you calling, but just stay away from me right now. You don’t need none of this on you. You’re doing good. Whatever happens to me, happens to me, but don’t get none of this on you,'” revealed Harvey. “That’s an amazing thing for a guy to say.”

Although Steve says it’s now been months since he’s last spoken with Cosby, he remains closely connected to him out of loyalty for what Cosby’s done for his career and his children:

“When I’m your friend, I’m your friend. […] And Bill Cosby helped my sons at Morehouse (College), and he taught me how to do this business. He didn’t even know me and he taught me how to do this business.”

Steve Harvey may not have much to say to his staff members (LOL, sorry I couldn’t resist that one), but at least he had a few interesting things to say about his friend, Bill Cosby.

Speaking of Cosby, he’s prepping for his April 2018 sex assault retrial against accuser, Andrea Constand, and he’s got a new legal team this time.

The world lost a fearless leader when the iconic civil rights activist/comedian, Dick Gregory, passed away on August 19, 2017. He was 84 years young and millions of people have mourned his death. One of those people is his good friend, Bill Cosby.

Cosby and Gregory go way back in the brotherhood of comedy. In recent years, Gregory has oftentimes spoken out about the sexual assault allegations against Cosby. He’s publicly stated, “I know it’s a trick,” in regards to the many women who suddenly surfaced with sex assault claims, in which most of them claimed happened decades ago.

Niece Tells What Cosby Did While Gregory was Dying

What many don’t know, is that on August 19th, Cosby was talking to Gregory as he was dying. Gregory’s niece, Trish Gregory, revealed that Cosby spent time with Gregory by phone, telling him jokes. He was trying to make Mr. Gregory’s last days on earth be as enjoyable and peaceful as possible, in a way that he knew Gregory would love.

After Dick Gregory died, Cosby paid homage to him on social media with several touching messages. His first tribute read:

Bill Cosby: His comedy showed his education, intelligence, and was inclusive of humanitarianism along with great timing.The man went off the stage into the arena of Civil Rights worldwide facing his enemies.He was FEARLESS. Rest in Power Dick Gregory

After seeing Cosby’s Facebook tribute to her uncle, Trish Gregory left a comment for Cosby, thanking him for helping her uncle transition:

Trish Gregory: Thank you Bill Cosby for calling, speaking and joking with my uncle Dick Gregory on the day of his transition. I envisioned the smile on my grandmother’s face as he entered the pearly gates. 😊

Dick Gregory’s funeral service was held on September 21st, and live streamed on TV One and on Roland Martin’s Facebook page. It was a beautiful service, attended many icons and thousands of fans. Cosby was photographed at the funeral, talking to Minister Louis Farrakhan, which he also shared online in another tribute to his friend, Gregory…

Gregory’s Son Corrected A Rumor About His Dad’s Death At Funeral

During the funeral, one of Gregory’s 10 children, Christian Gregory, took the stage to clear up one widely reported inaccuracy that stated his father died from heart failure:

Christian Gregory: “It wasn’t his heart. His blood vessels were damaged from starving himself to bring attention to what was going on in the world. […] We thank him for a life of sacrifice. We acknowledge the suffering and glory.”

Incredible…even up to his last breathe, Dick Gregory was fighting for human rights and equality among all.
