The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was canceled years ago and Janet Hubert was off the show long before the final episode, but that hasn’t stopped her from draggin’ the show and her former castmates all the way to hell. Even now, she still has a serious vendetta against Will Smith but apparently, he isn’t the only person she loathes. She also has a problem with BET and TV One; networks she refers to as “n****r networks.” Once again, Janet is goin’ off on social media, so without further ado ladies and gents, here it is…

Janet Hubert To BET and TV One:

Janet’s latest rant features more jaw-dropping, bashing statements about quite a few people. From BET and TV One, to Cathy Hughes, Will Smith, and even the rapper/actor’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, Janet is out here throwin’ all kinds of gut-punches. According to The Jasmine Brand, Janet’s latest video picks up from where she left off last time when she threw shade at Jada’s “Red Table Talk” series. She said:

“Y’all ain’t gon invite me to your red table so welcome to my butcher block. Now, this butcher block is not just for you. This is my last video. I am not on this earth much longer and I will not go to my grave feeling that questions have been unanswered. What misconceptions of me – that you put there – have never been dealt with, and especially for my son. I am tired. “

But Janet didn’t stop there. She went on to blast black media outlets accusing them of taking her words and blowin’ the situation out of proportion:

“You took my personal post and you put it on blast and you put what you thought I meant. You put your own seasoning on this so-called steak. Not caring what was happening in my life and not calling me to ask me if I was okay. No concern, no compassion for my situation whatsoever. I’ve realized something about the black media.”

She went on to blast her former castmates:

“When a lie is told again, again, again, and again it becomes the truth. And since you and I know that no one in Hollywood has the guts to stand up, because it’s like a cartel, and I’m shocked that someone like Warren Littlefield who was there when all of this went, allowed it to go down! Nowhere does it ever say, I was fired. That was you and your tampon, Alfonso Ribeiro.”

Blackballed:

Like Mo’Nique, Janet has also expressed concern about how she’s perceived in Hollywood. Since her Fresh Prince fallout, she insists she’s been blackballed in the industry. When it comes to Oprah Winfrey and hit shows, like The View, Janet has revealed no one is willing to sit down with her so she can share her side of the story. Despite the years that have passed, she’s still blaming Will for her financial ruin and now she claims she’s broke and homeless:

“My life when you banished me and when you tainted me and when you put your poison in, you poisoned my entire world. You poisoned my art. You poisoned people against me. The vomit that you spewed.”

However, she also claims she isn’t the only one who’s suffered from the aftermath of the show. She claims her son was also a victim of the situation, often mocked by his peers. By now, most people know Janet’s son attempted to commit suicide and she blamed Will Smith. Now, she’s explaining why. Apparently, the mocking was a result of her stint on the show. So, she’s pointing the finger at Will and the popular sitcom:

“He used to walk down the street and they would call him a little rich motherf*cker! We were certainly not rich!”

Although Janet probably thinks the outbursts are helping the situation, in this case, there’s a strong possibility she’s only making things worse. Hopefully, she and Will can make amends some day and they can somehow move beyond their past.

Serious Allegations:

In case y’all hadn’t heard the latest, Janet Hubert – who portrayed the first “Vivian Banks” on The Fresh Prince – recently fired off at Will Smith again. Back in June 2018, she took to Facebook with a blasting post about Will, but this time fans were left scratching their heads, wondering about the massive accusation. As we previously reported, Janet is blaming Will for her son’s suicide attempt. On Facebook, she posted a message that read:

“Dear Will…you destroyed my life with your lies…YOU win my son is in the hospital. #[expletive]attempt.#[expletive]youworld!”

Almost immediately after posting the message, Janet deleted it, but of course there are screenshots. To most fans, the message came out of left field and people were left wondering where in the world it came from. Exactly how Will is supposedly responsible for her son’s hospitalization? Well, that’s still a question that Janet Hubert has yet to answer. But at least Will is clearing the air…

Finally Addressing Janet:

Will Smith is finally speaking out about his years-long feud with Janet Hubert – or… better yet, HER feud with him. During a recent interview with 1Extra, the “Fresh Prince” legend didn’t exactly offer a response that people probably would have expected, considering how much she’s bashed him over the years, but it was still a response nonetheless. Will actually took the high road and focused on the positive things about Janet and her time on “The Fresh Prince”:

“I think as an artist, there’s so many things that she does. She sings, she dances, she’s like a really powerful artist. I loved what she brought to the ‘Fresh Prince.’”

Not one to dwell on negativity, Will switched gears to focus on a bigger issue. He went on to discuss why he and his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, opted to boycott the Oscars. By now, everyone knows Janet Hubert also had somethin’ to say about the #OscarsSoWhite boycott and she even bashed Jada. Will discussed the boycott, along with the bigger issue behind their monumental decision:

“To me, it’s so far not about me. It’s not about us going to a show or not,” he said. “For me, this is a much bigger social issue. I’m recognizing a pattern of the narrowing of the imagery. The narrowing of tolerance in America. I’ve been watching the news and experiencing the things that are going on in my country, my concern is that Hollywood is reflecting a regressive trend. Hollywood is supposed to lead. It’s supposed to be the most diverse and the most inclusive.”

“All of the voices of so many different types of people and so many different types of stories,” he continued. “I’m just concerned that I’m seeing Hollywood slipping and making a slide that is a social and political slide that’s happening throughout the country.”

It’s quite obvious Will is completely unbothered by Janet Hubert. Unfortunately for her, she’ll probably never get the rise out of the brotha that she’s expecting. With the Will Smith’s cool-as-a-cucumber persona, Ms. Hubert will probably have to go much further to get under his skin, because he’s not entertaining the negativity.

Hubert Blames Will Smith For Harming Her Son

Janet done stirred up the internet yet again, after reportedly posting a message to Will Smith, accusing him of being the reason her son has just attempted suicide:

“Dear Will…you destroyed y life with your lies…YOU win my son is in the hospital. #suicideattempt #F*CKYOUWORLD!” the online message read.

As soon as her message began spreading across these social media streets like wild fire, fans started weighing on Janet’s words. Some felt that she had a right to feel the way she does toward Will, while other’s feel that she’s the cause of her own demise:

Revolution Dan: She basically had her whole career ruined because Will Smith Labeled her as difficult to work with, On top of her being an older Dark Skinned actress in the 90s. You can only imagine her being labeled as “difficult to work with” would have done for her career.

Joe: Or maybe she was really difficult to work with, and being older and darker had nothing to do with it.

Patrick G: Maybe Janet Hubert it was his up bring. Why are you blaming someone else when you should be looking at yourself. You didn’t like Will Smith on the Show and you still don’t like him. Will Smith didn’t raise your child you did.

Janet’s been slamming Will Smith for decades ow because she blames him for having her fired and lying on her in the press, which she feels ultimately ruined her career. According to EOnline, Will did an interview with an Atlanta radio station in the 1990’s, shortly after Janet left the show, and here’s what he reportedly said:

“I can say straight up that Janet Hubert wanted the show to be The Aunt Viv of Bel Air Show because I know she is going to dog me in the press. She has basically gone from a quarter of a million dollars a year to nothing. She’s mad now but she’s been mad all along. She said once, I’ve been in the business for 10 years and this snotty-nosed punk comes along and gets a show.’ No matter what, to her I’m just the Antichrist.”

Janet’s side of the story:

“My departure was planned for a long time… There will never be a reunion of the Fresh Prince. Will Smith and Alfonso [“Carlton”]destroyed a 20-year-career with untruths. I got slammed.”

As we also previously reported, in a more recent interview, Will Smith says he harbors no ill will toward Janet, when he was asked about her nonstop jabs at him:

“I think that both of the Aunt Vivs were really, really fantastic,” he said during an appearance on BBC’s Radio 1Xtra, via The Grio. “I think when you make a show, any time that you make a change it’s going to be excruciating and painful. I think that Janet Hubert brought a really powerful dignity to the show. I think she’s brilliant. I think as an artist there’s so many things that she does. She sings, she dances, she’s like a really powerful artist. I love what she brought to the Fresh Prince.”

In case y’all haven’t heard by now, actress, Janet Hubert a.k.a. “Aunt Viv” from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, is NEVER one to bite her tongue. We’ve witnessed her repeatedly bash the hell outta her former co-star, Will Smith, in recent years. Why? Because she says that she and Will had tension damn near from the start of them working together. Hubert also said Will was reportedly the reason she was fired from the hit show back in the day. In March 2017, she even slammed her other co-star, Alfonso Ribeiro (“Carlton”), referring to him as an “a$$ wipe for Will (Smith).”

This go’ round though, fans jumped all over the opportunity to rekindle the firestorm “Aunt Viv'” aimed at ousted Donald Trump aide, Omarosa Manigault-Newman. As we all know, Omarosa was reportedly fired from the White House and went out with a bang- screaming and yelling. After her grand exit from Trump’s house, Hubert’s prior shots at her is making fans give a resounding “That’s right!’ as a result.

Truth be told, millions have been rejoicing, following Omarosa’s firing because…well, let’s just say that she has oftentimes been viewed, by many, as the real life version of Samuel Jackson’s ‘coon slave master loving’ character in Django…

Today is one of those days where Ms. Hubert a.k.a. the original ‘Aunt Viv’ from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, is letting her thoughts and a few curse words shoot out like daggers, right toward her former Fresh Prince co-stars. Why? Because they had a mini-reunion the other day, and left her clean out of it.

If you didn’t see the recent online photos Will Smith and Alfonso Ribeiro posted of themselves reunited with all the main characters EXCEPT Janet Hubert (and of course ‘Uncle Phil’ actor, James Avery, who passed away in 2013), here’s what transpired:

After the pics surfaced of Tatyana Ali (Ashley Banks); Alfonso (Carlton Banks); Karyn Parsons (Hilary Banks); Will (Will) Daphne Etta Maxwell (Vivian Banks) and Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey), social media world went crazy over them.

Will also captioned one of the pics with “Wishing that James Avery was still with us to make this complete.”

Fans were happy to see the crew back together again, but there was one thing people couldn’t help but notice- that the the second ‘Aunt Viv’ (Daphne Maxwell Reid), was there, but the original ‘Aunt Viv’ was no where to be found.

Needless to say, people started posting questions about the original ‘Aunt Viv’s’ absence, which apparently have now made their way back to Janet Hubert. She had a LOT to say, on Facebook, about her exclusion from the reunion. Not only did she threaten to tell all about what really went down behind the scenes of the show, she also took the liberty of calling Alfonso an “a$$ wipe for Will.” In the same breathe, she stated that she was NOT offended…Laaaaawd…

Uhhh…does that sound like ‘Aunt Viv #1’ is unbothered to y’all? From where we’re standing it sure doesn’t, but we’re not mad at her for speaking her mind. Quite frankly, we get tired of celebrities playing the ‘politically correct game’ all the time. Every now and then it’s cool for them to let loose in public and show that they’re human too- regardless of if we agree with their words, or not.

Anyways, if you know one thing about Janet Hubert, then you know this is one grudge she will NOT let go off anytime soon. Hell, it’s been about 24 years since (1993) she had her falling out with Will Smith (stating that he then got her fired from Fresh Prince) and as you can see, she still can’t stand the brotha. Well we all know that Former Fresh Price of Belair star, (Aunt Viv), Janet Hubert isn’t one to hold her tongue, and recently she spoke out in a new HuffPost Live interview, saying that the actress Fox News talking head needed to get her story straight, saying Dash “has worked on BET more than most actresses have.”

“Somebody needs to slap the little bit of black she got on her off of her, okay?” Hubert said. “The little bit of black she got on her, off of her, because girlfriend has worked on BET more than most actresses have.”

Hubert said she believes Dash’s comments are simply allowing her to be a pawn for the media and she puts the “struggle [of the community] way back.”

“I think she’s just saying this kind of bull because she wants sensationalism and she’s working for Fox and she needs a job and she’s making a check,” said Hubert.

If you didn’t know, on yesterday Jada Pinkett Smith posted a message stating that she would not be attending the February 28 ceremony. The Oscars have drawn criticism after an all-white slate of major nominees was announced Thursday for the second year in a row. Although we haven’t heard much from other black celebrities, with the exception of Spike Lee who is boycotting the Oscars, but is one actress who has something to say about Jada Pinkett’s announcement. Former Fresh Prince of Bel Air actress Janet Hubert continued to prove there’s no love lost between her and her co-star by posting a message on social media about Jada Pinkett Smith’s call for Black actors and actresses to boycott the upcoming Academy Awards. In a video posted to Facebook, Hubert rips both Will and Jada for being self-interested and, “part of the system that is unfair.”

Following the release of nominations for the upcoming Academy Awards, in which Will Smith was excluded from for his role in the football drama Concussion, Pinkett Smith shared her disappointment that this year’s nominations didn’t include any people of color. In a video blog, Pinkett Smith says, “Begging for acknowledgement or even asking [to be nominated] diminishes dignity…So let’s let the Academy do them with all the grace and love and let’s do us differently.”

While many have been praising Jada for speaking out, Hubert had the opposite reaction. “Today being the celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, and hitting sixty years old, I’m at the point where I just don’t give a kitty,” she began her rant. She then asks Jada, “Does your man not have a mouth of his own with which to speak?”

Hubert goes on to say, “there’s a lot of s*** going on in the world that you all don’t seem to recognize. People are dying; our boys are being shot left and right. People are hungry, starving, people are trying to pay bills. And you’re talking about some mother******* actors, and Oscars. And it just ain’t that deep.” She then points out that for Smith to ask other actors to “jeopardize their career, and their standing in a town, that you know damn well, you don’t do that!”

She then claims the only reason the Smiths called for a boycott was because Will Smith did not receive a nomination for Concussion — and, according to her, he didn’t deserve one. “You know, there are those out there that really did deserve a nod. Idris Elba was one of them…that man is an incredible actor. You are not! Maybe you didn’t deserve a nomination,” she ranted. “Just because the world doesn’t go the way you want it to go doesn’t mean you can go out and ask people to stand up and sing ‘We Can Overcome’ for you.”
