Durant and the Warriors were cooking the Raptors for the better part of the first half and though they eventually went on to win the game they lost Durant for the rest of the series when he re-injured his right leg during the second quarter.

As Durant was escorted off the court (remember, they were in Toronto for Game 5) the fans actually began cheering his injury. Drake, who has been trolling each team his beloved Raptors faces, took a softer tone appearing concerned for Durant since the two of them are friends outside of the game.

Although it appears Drake is genuinely concerned for his friend’s well being Twitter has been ruthless with their response. And ironically, Drake ain’t here for any of the trolling.

The same year that iconic sprinters, John Carlos and Tommie Smith, bravely raised their fists in protest, during the medal ceremony at the 1968 Olympic Games to protest for Black civil rights, former heavyweight boxing champion George Foreman danced around the ring waving an American flag. It should therefore come as no surprise that Foreman is an avid Donald Trump supporter and a critic of athletes who are protesting today.

Offended America

On a recent podcast called “Offended America,” the head of his own grilling empire was highly judgmental of Colin Kaepernick for taking a knee during the National Anthem. He also took a shot at the NBA’s Kevin Durant for refusing to visit the White House as long as Trump is in office. He called the men unpatriotic and misguided.

“(Kaepernick and Durant) haven’t been brought up with people who were patriotic to even point them in the right direction,” Foreman said.

Ouch. Did he just diss their mommas? Foreman seems to believe that people died so that we could recite the anthem. Guess no one told him about that third verse. And for some reason, the boxing great thinks that passing on a trip to Capitol Hill is a move that Durant will soon regret. While Foreman didn’t support former President Richard Nixon, he hates that he missed out on a photo-op.

“Your guy doesn’t win and you figure something is wrong, I’m not going to like the guy,” Foreman continued. “I’m against him and everything but that’s all there is, sore loser. Sore loser. I was one.”

Trump Is A ‘Good President’

In spite of Trump’s failure to denounce White supremacy, his avid decision to build that wall, and his racist stance on immigration, Foreman still holds him in high regard.

“He’s a good president,” Foreman said. “A lot of people don’t like him, but evidently more do because he was elected President of the United States.”

Actually, it was the whole electoral college thing that worked in Trump’s favor. But Foreman has a personal allegiance to the man. Trump helped him get out of bankruptcy by investing in the 1991 pay-per-view fight between Foreman and Evander Holyfield. He will always be grateful to Trump for that:

“I was broke, too. Bankrupt. Put me back, he was part of writing those checks, so I could be on the wealthy side again. So I’ll always be grateful to the entrepreneur Donald Trump,” [Foreman] said. “And now President Donald Trump.”

So while Kaepernick sits in the stands as the NFL season kicks off and Durant takes the heat for staying away from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, George Foreman will keep stumping for Trump. Guess every man has his price.

After Rick James’ son, Taz James (23),  found out NBA player, Kevin Durant, just got a massive thigh tattoo of his Daddy, he was pretty shocked and had a few things to say about about it. (SCROLL DOWN FOR VIDEO)

Word got out about Durant’s inked up homage to ‘Mr. Superfreak’ after he posted a pic of it on his Instagram page. Soon afterwards, folks were talking about it and then he deleted the pic altogether.

Durant is clearly a big fan of Rick James and while Taz says he definitely respects anybody who’s willing to show his Pops love in such a major way like that, he also feels that because he is the “new Rick James” Kevin Durant should have hollered at him about that tatt’ just outta respect for his Dad’s fam’ and legacy.

Overall though, Taz was still flattered by Durant’s action. Check out what he said about below…

In case you missed our previous post on Taz James, he’s in the music game too, he’s a rapper and as you can see, he clearly inherited his Pop’s swag. He even puffs his cigarette the same way his dad did. It’s like watching a young Rick all over again- except it’s the biracial, 2016 version of him (Taz’s mother is of Jewish and Arab descent).

Although I did hear most of what Taz was saying in the video, I have to be honest- his words kind of took a back seat to the similar mannerisms I couldn’t stop concentrating on between him and his Daddy. Anyways, it’s still interesting to see what Taz thought about Durant’s ‘Rick James’ tatt.

Durant, however, is only  27 years old, so we’re not sure if he’s actually a fan of the Old School legend, Rick James, or as one blogger put it, he may just be a big fan of “The Chapelle Show”- “I’m Rick James bi*ch!’

By the way, the Rick James tattoo is Kevin Durant’s second music icon tattoo in as many weeks. He got a big Tupac tatt’ on his left calf about 2 weeks ago (shown above).
