Entertainment Mogul Diddy has tapped into the most vulnerable of his emotions while keeping his spirits up despite the tragic end to 2018.

Things have not been the same for Diddy ever since untimely passing of his longtime girlfriend, beloved fashion model and mother Kim Porter. The music mogul has been going through a mix of emotions. Last month, fans criticized the grieving father during his mourning for failing to ever marry her. Diddy humbly agreed with them, replying with, “I know. I played myself.”

The past few weeks have been rough. It just hit the four month mark since the passing of Porter, and the highly publicized split from former girlfriend Cassie. It would be an understatement to say he is still dealing with a wide range of emotions. Recently, Diddy took to his Instagram to reveal that he’d been crying for “three and a half hours” straight.

“Man, I ain’t gonna lie. I’ve been holding a lot of s*** in lately. I just had like a three-and-a-half hour cry, where I just let it all out. Or as much as I could tap into. And that shit felt great. Sometimes you gotta let that shit out.”

Diddy decided to use this as a teaching moment. He encouraged all of his followers regardless of age, to embrace their pain and purge their hurt through tears.

“Just saying to everybody out there, man woman and child- don’t be leaving nothing bottled up. Let that thing out. God will be right there to let you know, ‘C’mon, let’s get up. Let’s go.’ Had me a three-and-a-half-hour cry. God is good. Let it go, ya’ll.”

Christian Combs speaks out for the first time since the passing of his mother, Kim Porter.

At the young age of 47, the mother, model, and entrepreneur passed away suddenly after suffering from cardiac arrest on November 15. She is survived by her four children Quincy Brown, Christian Combs, and her twin girls, D’Lila Star, and Jessie James.

4 Months Since Her Sudden Passing

Since the four months that she suddenly passed away, we can all imagine, how difficult it’s been on her family, especially her kids, but they’ve remained strong through it all.

After Kim’s eldest son Quincy Brown gave his first interview after his mother’s death, now Kim’s 2nd son Christian Combs (aka King Combs) is ready to speak on her death.

Christian Combs sat down with Angie Martinez and publicly discussed the untimely death of his mother, Kim Porter, for the first time.

“One thing I never told anybody right when I found out the news like I was shocked. I didn’t know what to do. My whole world stopped,” the 20-year-old said. “As soon as I got in the car.. ’cause I landed at the airport.. as soon as I got in the car, my song ‘Love You Better’ came on the radio. I’m like ‘nah, I know that’s her talking to me.’ Making sure I know everything is okay.”

When Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ex-girlfriend, Kim Porter, passed away from pneumonia, it was a shock to everyone. At age 47, she died on November 15, 2018 -exactly one month shy of her 48th birthday. Left to mourn, were her 4 children- sons, Quincy and Christian Combs; and twin daughters, Jessie, and D’Lila Combs.

At the time or her passing, we all wondered how their youngest babies, Jessie and D’Lila, would cope after suddenly losing the woman who meant everything to them at such a young age.

As the months progress, it’s becoming clearer that those beautiful children are coping as best as they can and have a ton of loving support around them. Many have come to their aide, including of course, their Pops, and big brothers…but also many others family members, as well as celebrity friends, like Mary J. Blige.

Now, four months after Kim’s passing, Diddy has just paid a very touching homage to her. In doing so, he also took a moment to share a photo of their twins with a man the public rarely (if ever) gets to see- their grandad, Kim Porter’s father.

The Tragic Death of Supermodel Kim Porter

Recall–Celebrities and fans alike showed public outcry when news broke that supermodel-mother Kim Porter, 47, was pronounced dead at her Toluca Lake home. That woman was truly loved!

According to TMZ, she wasn’t feeling well and went to bed. When her family was unable to wake her up, paramedics were called. She had been suffering from pneumonia for weeks.  According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner, Kim died from lobar pneumonia, which is an inflammation of an entire lobe of the lungs. The manner of death has been certified as natural.

People questioned how Diddy and Kim’s beautiful children would hold up following the tragic news.

A source told HollywoodLife.com:

“Quincy (Brown )and his mom were so close, there’s going to be a hole in his life forever. But he’s doing his best to stay strong, not only for himself but also for his younger sisters and his brother.”

I literally cried inside when just days after his mom’s death, Brown  paid tribute as he shared a throwback picture on the “Gram” that featured him, Porter and her twins.  He stated “I am broken…& the only thing that makes sense right now is that you were way too good for this silly world we live in. I love you so much MOMMY. Please give Mee-Maw the biggest hug and kiss for me.”

Sad news today. A beautiful mom and a very familiar face to us all, Kim Porter has passed away. Kim Porter was Diddy’s long time girlfriend and the mother of 3 of his kids. She dated Sean Combs for over 13 years.

Information About Her Death:

The model and actress was found dead Thursday at her L.A. area home according to TMZ. Her death was confirmed to TMZ by Diddy’s rep. Cindi Berger told the site:

“Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time.”

Law enforcement sources told the site they’d been called to Kim’s Toluca Lake home at around noon today.

According to emergency dispatch audio, the call came in as she had suffered a cardiac arrest.

Diddy and Kim’s relationship spanned more than a decade with several breakups and makeups. They started dating in 1994 and broke up, for the last time, in 2007.

A few years ago, Quincy also wrote an open letter to his biological Pops, Al B., about all of the years he missed with him growing up and how he used to wish he’d come around more often like the other kids father’s did when he was in school. Quincy even admitted in the letter, that he used to go so far as to make up lies to his school friends and teachers about why Al B. wouldn’t be in attendance at his school events. However throughout it all, he always had Diddy, his Mother’s then long time boyfriend/father of her other three children.

Al B. later did an interview stating that he loves his son greatly and that he wanted to keep family matters private.

Well that was then and this is now. Today when you look at their relationship it’s like ‘night and day’ in comparison to what it was just a few years ago. By the way, did y’all catch my wordplay just now? Thought you did…and that brings me to my next point…

Although Al B. will never be able to get those years back that he lost with Quincy and although Quincy admits he’ll always view Diddy as his Pops, as well as his biological father, Al B., the two Browns have bonded these days. And to prove it, Quincy has finally released his “I Can Tell You (Nite and Day 2.0)” single and video that we told y’all he was dropping a few months ago. It’s a remake of his Dad’s 1988 classic, “Nite and Day,” with a feature from Al B. Sure, who also worked on the track with his son. To bring their reunion full circle, Al B. even made amends with his ex/Quincy’s mother/Diddy’s ex, Kim Porter, who also appeared in Quincy’s video looking like a sexy full course serving of grown woman.

4. One minor alteration needed: Quincy please add a slightly more diverse group of women in the video next time so you don’t look color-biased. Maybe you can start with adding a few more models who share the same brown complexion as your beautiful mother, Kim…just saying.
