When Chris Rock and his ex-wife, Malaak Compton, divorced in 2016, things ended on a bad note. Well…it wasn’t the infamous Will-Smith-Chris-Rock-slap kinda bad, thank goodness…but it still ended sourly nonetheless. Fortunately, their former union wasn’t all bad, because there is something that the two exes have been most proud of to this day- their lovely daughters, who have grown at lightening speed since we last saw them.

Those were the days when Rock’s daughters would oftentimes be seen strolling alongside their parents at red carpet events and such. Following the Rocks’ divorce, their daughters seem to have flown under the radar now that the united family strolling down red carpets are a thing of the past. Nevertheless, Chris and Malaak have equally maintained close relationships with their kids.

Meet Zahra Savannah Rock, the 17-year-old daughter of Chris Rock and his ex-wife, Malaak.

Zahra is also a superb equestrian who’s won several awards in the sport. Malaak Compton shared the following photo and message about Zahra’s equestrian accomplishments:

Malaak Compton- “Great day at HITS on the Hudson horse show! … Zahra and her horse Sawyer ribboned in every round, including two 1st place wins and overall Reserve Champion. She didn’t do bad on Colorful either with the two of them earning a 4th and 5th place ribbon. We are back today and it’s been a great start! #equestrianlife #equestrianstyle #equestrianmoms #horselover #horselife🐴”

Daughter, Lola Rock…

We also decided to do a lil’ diggin’ to see what Chris and Malaak’s eldest daughter,  Lola Rock, has been up to. Turns out, she’s even more elusive than her baby sis,’ Zahra. But y’all know that didn’t stop us from finding at least one recent photo of her, chillin’ with her Dad…and she is also a beautiful young lady, as you can see in the above pic.

On His Kids, Divorce & Screwing Up His Marriage…

Shortly after Malaak filed for divorce, Chris Rock publicly confessed that he hated not waking up and seeing his kids at his home everyday:

Chris Rock- “You know, some days are better than others, some days you’re sad outta your fu*king mind. But my daughters are good, and I’m only an hour away. Two houses close by. It’s good.”

Chris Rock also confessed that he screwed up his 20 year marriage by cheating with three different women (2 celebrities and 1 non-celeb):

C.R.- “I wasn’t a good husband a lot of the times. I was a piece of sh*t. … I brought this sh*t on myself. Nobody told me to go ho up. … It’s my fault, because I’m a f**king a**hole. I didn’t listen. I wasn’t kind. I had an attitude. I thought, ‘I pay for everything, I can do what I want.’ That sh*t don’t fu*king work! I just thought I was the sh*t.”

Thankfully, Chris and Malaak have peacefully moved on. And besides, pretty sure divorcing a multimillionaire without a pre-nup, had it’s financial perks to help ease Malaak’s pain. She’s out here livin’ her best life nowadays. Do your thing Malaak.
