Marlon Jackson and his wife of 46 years, Carol Ann Parker, have three adult children together- Valencia, Brittany, and Marlon Jr- who all seem to stay as far away from the limelight as they possibly can. I can only imagine that it ain’t easy being a Jackson, but it does come with a lot of perks. Imagine what it must be like at the workplace for the Jackson kids.

Anyways, we had to do a quick update on Marlon’s daughters, Valencia and Brittany Jackson, because we hadn’t realized it had been that long since we’d seen them out and about as a little girls, holding on to their Pops backstage at shows and whatnots. Marlon’s daughters are 44 and 42…and gorgeous! See recent pics of them below…

Valencia is 45 years old, and she’s Marlon Jackson’s oldest daughter. She has two children, her daughter Sophia and her son Noah. She is a travel journalist, curator, and cultural expert. She also is an entrepreneur and is the founder of Creative Vie Media which is a global travel and tourism branding, public relations and multimedia agency.

This is Marlon Jackson’s and Carol’s youngest daughter, Brittany Jackson. She’s 43 years old, and keeps an even lower profile than her big sis,’ Valencia So the only facts we know about her are that she is a college graduate and she has two children, her daughters Phoenix and Savannah. The photo below is of Marlon’s wife, Carol, holding their grandbaby and glammin’ it up for the cameras, with their two daughters. Carol’s aging so gracefully, that it’s almost hard to tell who are the daughters and who is the mother…

As far as their son, Marlon Jackson Jr….he’s now a 40-year-old man now, but he keeps the lowest profile of them all…

Marlon Jackson’s 39 year old son was arrested six times within 6 years and we’ve got the mugshots to prove it. When we first found this tidbit of info out about Marlon Jr., the main question that came to mind was ‘Why in the world is this happening to the son of music royalty, the son of the most iconic musical family in music history, the nephew of the biggest musical icon in the world?!!’

The Jackson siblings and their family seems to have, like, a million kids, so we understand why many probably forgot Marlon Jr. even existed. Therefore, we’ll backtrack for a second, before we get into his arrest record, just to clarify where he comes from. For starters, what deserves the biggest hand clap of it all is the fact that Marlon Jr.’s parents, Marlon Sr. and Carol Anne Parker, have managed to do something that most of the Jackson siblings and actually most other celebrities haven’t been able to do and that is remain married for 46 years!

We know things happen sometimes in the American police/justice system, especially when it comes to Black males. But now that I got that disclaimer out of the way, I have to be real with y’all: when you’re dealing with a case of a guy who comes from a very prestigious family, like the Jacksons, one of two things oftentimes happen:

(1) They are being targeted by law enforcement for being perceived as the “privileged kid’ by a hating police officer.

Or (2) They are in fact a ‘privileged kid’ who may be having a hard time building their own identity outside of their famous relatives’ shadow. So they instead act out. We’ve seen many celebrity children do that- ranging from Chaka Khan’s son,  to actor, Tom Hanks son.

So while there is an understanding for the offspring of these legends, at some point the kids have to start taking responsibility for their own lives. Marlon Jackson Jr.’s charges are all pretty much small change, thank goodness, but that doesn’t negate the fact that he probably should reconsider changing his actions, environment, friends, whatever he needs to do to stop building his arrest record.

Ever since Jackson family patriarch, Joe Jackson, passed away from pancreatic cancer on June 27, 2018, there have been a flurry of online comments. Many have been words of condolences and praise of the man responsible for molding the most impactful musical family of all time. While others, have been feeding into the abuse claims, calling him a physical abuser to his children (for whipping them), as well as a sexual abuser to one of his daughters, which was proven to be a lie years ago (we’ll get to that in a minute).

Even in the midst of his children and many grandkids praising Joe for the love he showered upon them throughout their lives, folks like actress, Bette Midler, have left comments such as this one:

“Joe Jackson is d-e-a-d- and Hallelujah!! A monster who ate his own children; like in an old Grecian myth. I hated every minute he lived. All times are strange but this is really beyond the pale. Would Quincy Jones like to weigh in?? Always interested!!!”

Marlon Jackson Responds To Dad’s Haters

Joe’s and Katherine’s sixth born child, Marlon Jackson, has always been a man of few words when it comes to speaking to the press. But when he was stopped by paparazzi at the airport recently, he had a message for Jackson haters:

“All I have to say [is] I think of positive things when I think of MY father, so I’m good.”

He was also asked how the family is holding up:

“As best as you’d expect,” Marlon replied. As far as the private memorial a few days ago, “It was great, it was really great.”

Like we said- a man of few words, but y’all get his point: ‘to hell with Joe Jackson’s haters.’ Now, one person who was NOT as short spoken when defending Joe, was Michael Jackson’s son, Prince, whom we applaud for checkin’ the hell outta those flappin’ their gums about his beloved grandpops.

How Did The Rumor Start? La Toya Admitted She Lied On Dad

Joe Jackson’s kids made it no secret that their pops was a very stern father. He whipped when they did something wrong and made them rehearse for hours as children, but ALL of them later thanked him for being so tough on them back then. However, there was one Jackson sibling who, for a while, was the bad seed in the bunch- La Toya Jackson.

In 1991, La Toya released, “La Toya: Growing Up In The Jackson Family,” a book full of lies and allegations against her family, including Michael and Joe. While promoting her book at that time, she did an interview, claiming sister, Rebbie, “was sexually abused by my father.” Her family immediately stated she was lying.

It wasn’t until 2011, in her second book, “Starting Over,”that La Toya publicly recanted her story and blamed her then (now deceased) husband/manager, Jack Gordon, for forcing her to go on a public rampage with false allegations against her family. She also said Jack brainwashed her, isolated her from her fam,’ and also gave her mind altering drugs:

“He [Jack Gordon] wouldn’t allow me to see them or talk to them at all and if I left him—he threatened to kill Michael and Janet,” says La Toya. “My family knew something was wrong, but they couldn’t know how bad it was because I couldn’t tell them. … I was young then and had a lot of people in my life that didn’t need to be there,” says La Toya. “So l lashed out at my father, both of my parents really, because of things other people said. … My family and Michael knew that that wasn’t really me talking,” La Toya says. … “He wouldn’t allow me to see them or talk to them at all and if I left him—he threatened to kill Michael and Janet,” says La Toya. “My family knew something was wrong, but they couldn’t know how bad it was because I couldn’t tell them.” -via Daily Beast

Good thing La Toya made her wrongs, right with both Michael Jackson and Joe prior to both of their passings.
