Rap legends, Snoop Dogg and Master P, have filed a lawsuit against retail giant Walmart, accusing the company of intentionally tryna stick ’em for their paper. According to their attorney, Benjamin Crump, Walmart and food brand Post conspired together to bury their company, Broadus Foods, after initially agreeing to partner with them.

The lawsuit alleges that Post first tried to buy out Snoop and Master P, and when that failed, they tried to pull a shady move by pretending to share Snoop’s and P’s vision and adopting their cereal as their own and distributing it in major retailers like Walmart. However, instead of showcasing the Snoop Cereal next to other top-selling products, Walmart allegedly hid it away in back stockrooms, far from the eyes of potential buyers.

Snoop Cereal initially launched in Walmart in July 2023, but the suit claims that customers complained about not being able to find it just a few months later. Online stores allegedly showed the product as sold out, but in reality, it was stowed away in stockrooms, coded to remain unsold. The lack of sales reportedly led to financial losses for Snoop Dogg and Master P.

The lawsuit accuses Walmart and Post of engaging in deceptive trade practices and seeks damages for the alleged mistreatment. Snoop Dogg and Master P are determined to hold the companies accountable for what they believe was a deliberate attempt to sabotage their cereal brand.

It remains to be seen how this legal battle will unfold, but the allegations made by Snoop and P are certainly cause for concern. Walmart and Post have both released statements regarding this situation.

Walmart stated, “Walmart values our relationships with our suppliers, and we have a strong history of supporting entrepreneurs. Many factors affect the sales of any given product, including consumer demand, seasonality, and price to name a few. We will respond as appropriate with the Court once we are served with the complaint.”

Post Brand says, “Post Consumer Brands was excited to partner with Broadus Foods and we made substantial investments in the business. We were equally disappointed that consumer demand did not meet expectations.”

Hmmm 🤔…kinda sounds like a case of  major corporations possibly trying to take down the independent brands to me. But hey…I could be wrong. Anywho…hoping for a positive outcome for Snoop, Master P, and Broadus Foods.

As No Limit mogul, Master P; his ex-wife, Sonya Miller; and their loved ones grieve the sudden passing of their 29-year-old daughter, Tytyana Miller…P is speaking out about the details behind his daughter’s struggles and her recent death. He also unselfishly took the time to think of others right now– at a time where he is at his lowest point emotionally. And what he’s shared is a true testament to the father he is to Tytyana, and his other eight children.

The Latest Details On Tytyana Miller’s Cause Of Death

Evidence is reportedly suggesting that Tytyana died of a drug overdose, but that has not yet been confirmed. However, according to law enforcement, ‘drug paraphernalia was found at the scene of Tytyana’s death, indicating it might have killed her … but there were no substances present on the scene.’

An autopsy was also reportedly completed, but the results will take a few weeks.

If the autopsy results confirm there were illegal drugs in Tytyana’s system at the time of her passing, LAPD investigators say they ‘will go into overdrive to find out who supplied the drugs.’

Master P Offers More Insight Into Daughter’s Struggles And Passing

In an interview with TMZ, Master P further detailed what could’ve possibly caused or contributed to Tytyana’s death. As we’d previously reported, Tytyana died over the Memorial Day weekend.

The investigation is still ongoing, but according to Master P…his daughter died from struggles with mental illness and substance abuse…apparent realities he says Tytyana had been battling since 2015:

Master P: “The only way that we are going to heal and grow from this is with the truth. It has been a long and painful journey for our family, my daughter has been battling with this since 2015. Mental illness and substance abuse is a real issue and we hope to turn this tragedy into a testimony. …

As a father, I have always established parameters to protect my children. Unfortunately, when they become adults, they have the legal right to choose who to have relationships with whether healthy or unhealthy.”

Master P Vows To Help Other Families, Amid His Grief

P is now vowing to assist other families experiencing the same thing, in hopes that he can help them avoid the excruciating loss and heartache he and his family are faced with right now:

“I put my faith and trust in God, I realize that no person is exempt from pain or death. Every day families are dealing with the loss of their loved ones due to mental illness and substance abuse. I have committed to invest my time, resources and passion to help other families affected by these same issues. Our healing process will not end in grief, we will celebrate my daughter’s life. Tytyana was inspiring, uplifting, artistic and a loving person who deeply cared for others.” – Master P

Master P is clearly aching, to say the least…but we truly commend him for being able to consider others at a time like this. Keeping P; his ex-wife (Tytyana’s mother), Sonya Miller; their children and loved ones in our thoughts, hearts, and prayers.

Very heartbreaking news to share today I Love Old School Music family. Master P’s daughter, Tytyana Miller, has died suddenly. Both the No Limit mogul and his son have spoken out about it with extreme grief.

Tytyana was the 29-year-old-daughter of Master P (Percy Miller) and his ex-wife, Sonya Miller. In an emotional Instagram post, P shared some insight into the possible cause of their daughter’s passing:

“Our family is dealing with an overwhelming grief for the loss of my daughter Tytyana. We respectfully request some privacy so that our family can grieve. We appreciate all of the prayers love and support. Mental illness & substance abuse is a real issue that we can’t be afraid to talk about. With God, we will get through this. #MyAngel.”

Master P’s and Sonya’s son, Romeo Miller, also took to Instagram writing the following, in remembrance of his little sister, Tytyana:

Although the official cause of death has yet to be confirmed, P’s admission that, “mental illness and substance abuse is a real issue” offers some insight into possible contributing factors of Tytyana’s death.

TMZ reported:

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … paramedics got an emergency call around 2:30 AM Saturday and responded to a home in the San Fernando Valley. It appears she was pronounced dead on scene — she was not taken to a hospital.

Tytyana was previously featured on episodes of “Growing Up Hip Hop” where she along with her dad and brother, Romeo, documented her struggles with substance abuse at that time. In one very transparent episode, Romeo and P tried desperately to convince Tytyana to enter into a rehab program.

Our hearts are aching for Master P, Sonya Miller, and Tytyana’s siblings and loved ones. May Tytyana rest in peace.

As you know, although from the South, Master P’s West Coast connection is deep. But it may have greater depth than we’ve realized — as Nipsey often sought his advice.

In an interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood, Percy “Master P” Miller discussed his brotherly relationship with the late Nipsey Hussle. According to Miller, Hussle — many times — came to him for advice in financial matters, especially contracts.

Master P told Big Boy that he taught Nipsey a lot about independent moves.

“Me and Nipsey we jammed, man,” Master P explains. “I taught him a lot. I looked over a lot of the contracts he had. That’s just how he was. He was like, ‘Big Dog, I need you to see this.’ I’m right there. Our relationship was strong.”

What The Second Witness Now Confesses

It wasn’t until 16 years later in June 2018, that the first key witness, Kenneth Jordan, recanted his story and came forward with the truth. Kenneth says he lied because New Orleans police officers pressured him to do so and threatened to send him to prison for an unrelated crime of his own. Well, as if that wasn’t already groundbreaking enough, the SECOND key witness, Darnell Jordan (no relation to Kenneth Jordan) has now officially recanted his story as well, confessing to lying on C-Murder!

Via Nola.com: Six days after a witness recanted testimony identifying rapper Corey “C-Murder” Miller as the gunman in a 2002 Harvey nightclub homicide, the other witness from the trial signed an affidavit saying that he, too, lied when he named Miller as the shooter. Darnell Jordan, 36, testified in both of Miller’s second-degree murder trials. During the 2009 retrial, he told the court Miller killed Steve Thomas, 16, inside of the now-closed Platinum Club in Harvey where Jordan worked as a bouncer.

But Jordan now says he was scared of Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives who “tricked” him into identifying Miller, the younger brother of New Orleans rap mogul Percy “Master P” Miller. “I am certain that Corey Miller did not shoot Steve Thomas,” Jordan said in a hand-written letter filed with the 24th Judicial District Court Monday (July 2).

Darnell Jordan says the sheriff’s officers pulled some shady mess just before he was about to take the witness stand to lie on Miller. According to Jordan, he was pretty much giving notes about what to say on the stand.

Via Nola.com: Darnell Jordan accused detectives of coercing him into signing a photograph line-up that identified Miller as the suspect. “I was scared of them,” Darnell Jordan wrote in his affidavit.

During Miller’s first trial in 2003 – for which the conviction was later overturned — and the second trial, Darnell Jordan said he was arrested on a material witness bond and held in isolation at a hotel until he testified. He accused Sheriff’s Office Detective Donald Clogher of handing him a piece of paper with his “statement” regarding the shooting, according to court records.

C-Murder’s Attorney Speaks Out

Miller’s attorney, Paul Barker, explained why Darnell Jordan has now decided to come forth. “Once everything broke last week, Darnell Jordan, the only other alleged eyewitness put on by the state, came forward and said he wanted to break his silence,” said Barker.

On Monday (July 2), attorney Barker filed an amended memorandum, which now includes both Darnell’s and Kenneth’s recanted statements. He’s asking the court to throw out Miller’s conviction and grant him a new trial.

“Mr. Miller is indeed innocent of the murder for which he has been convicted, and it is high time that this illegal conviction and sentence be reversed and vacated,” Barker wrote.

At this point, it really does seem like some very suspect bullcrap has been going on all along with C-Murder’s case. From the jump, C-Murder, as well as many New Orleanians, have claimed he was not the killer. Only time will tell, regarding whatever the court decides though.

It’s now been reported that Master P. invested millions to create his new weed brand, Master P.’s Trees. The deal was a 50/50 partnership with equity firm, Privateer Holdings. In a new lawsuit that P. has just filed, he claims Privateer flat out lied to him and apparently just wanted to use him to tap into the urban market.

TMZ reports that P.’s lawsuit states Privateer wanted to get “an inside look into the urban and hip-hop demographic of cannabis users.” That could be so they can cut P. out and instead sell directly to the urban crowd for 100% of the profit, instead of the 50% they were gonna get with P. Via TMZ: [Master P.] joined the legal cannabis industry in November 2016 with the launch of his brand, Master P’s Trees … and claims he struck a deal with Privateer Holdings in March 2017 to produce and distribute his products in Cali. According to the docs … the deal was for 1 year, and Master P would promote the brand and cover half the production costs. …The official product launch was set for a July music fest where P was performing. … According to the suit — Privateer reneged on the deal in late July and left Master P holding the bag. The rapper’s suing for breach of contract and fraud … He wants at least $25 mil in lost profits and damages. We reached out to Privateer Holdings … no word back so far.

Twenty-five mill’ is a lot of bread. If Master P. gets what he’s asking in this lawsuit, he might as well take that money and go strike up his weed brand, using the same business savvy he used when he started No Limit Records. Just pay weed experts for services rendered and keep 100% of the profits- that way there’s no partners, no headaches, no limits.

Yes, you read that headline right. It looks like Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle is really dating the one and only Master P. Earlier today, the Xscape singer sparked a media firestorm when Sandra Rose broke the story about Tiny’s alleged secret relationship with the No Limit Records CEO. It has been reported that insiders claim Tiny has allegedly been secretly dating Master P. for much longer than most fans would believe and details about the so-called relationship are just beginning to surface.

A Secret Budding Romance?:

Although the relationship has yet to be confirmed….or denied, there are a few things that some believe to raise questions about the possibility of a budding relationship. By now, everyone knows Master P. is a flashy guy who loves music and sports. In fact, the New Orleans music mogul even had a short stint in the NBA. So it’s understandable how Tiny and P. could have a few things in common. But the publication has reported that Master P. was the man who bought Tiny her new home (wait…what?!!) and that he’s even supposedly a silent business partner for Tiny’s latest venture, the Atlanta Heirs, a professional co-ed basketball team.

For those who don’t know, Master P. also owns the New Orleans Gators, another co-ed basketball team in the same league as Tiny’s team. Could it all just be a coincidence? Although Tiny is still legally married to T.I, their marriage is reportedly one of convenience for the sake of the children. However, Tiny’s heart “belongs to Master P.,” Sandra Rose reports.

Much like Ice Cube has started his own Big 3 League, which also features retired NBA players, Tiny’s and Master’s P.’s new co-ed league will be the first of it’s kind.
