Prince’s brother, Omarr Baker, is speaking out on behalf of the late icon’s estate. They have a strong message for Trump that pretty much screams, ‘Mr. President, you can try me if you want to, here!!!’ Okay, so Omar didn’t quite word his message in that way, but he made his warning very clear, regarding what Trump is doing to his brother’s legacy.

The Warning Prince’s Brother Sent Trump & Why

Prince’s baby bro’ is pissed that Donald Trump has been using his brother’s “Purple Rain” song at his rallies and he’s sounding off about it. Why? Well for starters, Trump jacked Prince’s music with zero permission from the estate. Another reason is probably because Trump playing “Purple Rain” at his typically racially biased, sexist, fake news filled rallies, is probably the LAST thing Prince would have EVER wanted. So without further ado, check out Omarr’s statement below:

“The Prince Estate has never given permission to President Trump or The White House to use Prince’s songs and have requested that they cease all use immediately.”

Trump used the “Purple Rain” song at last week’s rally in South Haven, Mississippi, but pretty sure he’s now received the message to STOP IT. How can we be so sure, you ask? Well, because Omarr not only released an official statement through a news site, he also wanted to be certain to place it on a platform where Trump seems to spend most of his time- Twitter.

Prince was all about helping others and standing up for what was the right thing to do on the side of humanity, as opposed to the side of greedy, racist corporate structures and the people who ran them. Therefore, we’ve listed a few more reasons why Prince probably would be like, ‘Hell to the naw,’ if he were still here to witness Trump blasting his 80’s joint.

Prince Helped Trayvon Martin’s Fam…
As we previously reported, Prince personally helped Trayvon Martin’s family in a MAJOR way, following the tragic killing of the African American 17 year old, by his ruthless murderer, George Zimmerman.

Trayvon represents the victims whose lives Trump adamantly hates to see NFL players kneel in peaceful protest for. In fact, he hates to see them stand up for the murdered African Americans so much so, that he called them “bastards” on national TV. So uh…nah, Prince probably would despise Trump bumpin’ “Purple Rain” at his bizarre political rallies that are oftentimes attended by Confederate Flag lovers and tiki torch carriers. Movin’ on…

Prince Held Rally For Freddie Gray…
Following the 2015 unjust murder of another unarmed Black man at the hands of trigger-happy police, Freddie Gray, Prince stood up again. At that time, he performed for free at the Rally 4 Peace event, in an effort to unify the people of Baltimore following the death of Freddie Gray and its subsequent protests and riots.

“In a spirit of healing, the event is meant to be a catalyst for pause and reflection following the outpouring of violence that has gripped Baltimore and areas throughout the U.S.,” organizer noted in a statement. “As a symbolic message of our shared humanity and love for one another, attendees are invited to wear something gray in tribute to all those recently lost in the violence.”

So again, HELL to the naw is what Prince’s answer more than likely would have been if asked whether or not he approves of Trump blastin’ his music.

Prince has been gone for more than two years now, but the bitter aftermath of his death is far from over. According to The Shade Room, his family has gone beyond the estate battle over his assets and royalties now turning their focus toward another person who is connected to his death. It has been reported that the singer’s family has filed a lawsuit against the doctor who prescribed him the painkillers that ultimately led to his death.

Prince’s Family Claps Back:

According to Rolling Stone, on Friday, August 24, the singer’s family filed the lawsuit in Hennepin County District Court against the Minnesota doctor who prescribed Fentanyl, the powerful opiates found in his system at the time of his death. When the autopsy report was released, it confirmed Prince – whose real name is Prince Rogers Nelson – died of an overdose from the deadly opiate described as an “’exceedingly high’ level of Fentanyl in his system.” For those who don’t know, Fentanyl is considered to be “a synthetic opioid up to 50 times stronger than heroin.” So, the amount Prince consumed was reportedly off the charts.

Now, his family wants the doctor involved to assume responsibility for the fatal prescription he wrote. The family’s lawyer John Goetz released a statement about the latest lawsuit brought against the parties they believe are to blame for Prince’s death. “The Minnesota lawsuit is against all parties whom we now believe share legal responsibility for Prince’s death, but it is possible that we will identify and add other parties as we move forward with the case,” Goetz said in a statement.

Details about the lawsuit have also been released. According to ABC News, court documents have also explained why the doctor should be held accountable. “He failed to appropriately evaluate, diagnose, treat and counsel Prince for his recognizable opioid addiction, and further failed to take appropriate and reasonable steps to prevent the foreseeably fatal result of that addiction,” the lawsuit read, according to the publication. “These departures from the standard of acceptable medical practice had a substantial part in bringing about Prince’s death.”

In addition to the doctor, the family is also blaming two Minnesota-area Walgreens locations for “dispensing narcotic prescription medication” for invalid medical purposes,” according to the Rolling Stone. The latest news follows a confession from Dr. Michael Schulenberg, a Minneapolis geriatrician. A source close to the late singer revealed Schulenberg treated Prince for opioid withdrawal, anemia, and fatigue prior to his death. But Schulenberg admitted that he’d prescribed the painkills to Prince’s bodyguard to conceal his identity. As a result of his actions, he was fined a total of $30,000. He reportedly settled the dispute “in order to avoid the expense, delay and unknown outcome of litigation.” However, that just isn’t enough for the devastating loss the Nelson family has suffered as a result of Prince’s death.

In response to the latest lawsuit, Schulenberg’s lawyer Paul Peterson has released a statement to the Associated Press. “We understand this situation has been difficult on everyone close to Mr. Nelson and his fans across the globe. Be that as it may, Dr. Schulenberg stands behind the care that Mr. Nelson received. We intend to defend this case.”

In an objection to an order Comerica is seeking that would give it wide discretion in managing the estate, Sharron, Norrine and John Nelson — three of the expected heirs — said that if the bank doesn’t change its behavior toward involving the heirs in managing the estate, they are prepared to seek its removal.

In their objection, the heirs noted in vetting Comerica they asked if they would have a say in how the estate would be managed; Comerica representatives supposedly told them they would allow the heirs to have a say and would consider the heirs’ vote with significant and serious weight but that Comerica would not make decisions based solely on that vote. According to their objection filed March 10 in the First Judicial Court’s Probate division in Carver Country, Minn., the three heirs say not only is Comerica failing to give serious weight to their voices, but the bank has also failed to demonstrate its claimed expertise in the management of entertainment assets.

Siblings Also Disagreed On Who Should Be Personal Co-Representative Of Estate

Via Billboard: The judge said he would not appoint a co-personal representative who did not have the heirs’ unanimous support. “The heirs are all strong advocates of their positions on how the estate should be managed, and adding another divisive element will cause additional expense and delay in these proceedings,” he wrote.

As of now there still has been no official decision made as to who will inherit Prince’s estate, but more than likely it will be his five siblings. Hopefully they’ll become more cohesive as a unit soon, because this right here is just jacked up in all kinds for ways…and has been so ever since Prince’s untimely passing on April 21, 2016.
