In particular, we were wondering what happened to her long lost sister who we hadn’t seen since 1996. Then we realized that most TLC fans never even knew Chilli had a sister. Even though Chilli’s sister is now singing for the Lord and spreading her message of through gospel, that doesn’t mean that we can’t still give props where props is due- Chilli’s sis’ is a banger and she’s an equally talented singer too. Here she is…

Bam! Introducing Chilli’s sister, Marnet Ali, who now goes by the name, Marni Ali. See the family resemblance? Chilli and Marni share the same father, Abdul Ali. We’re not sure of her exact age, but its been confirmed that Marni is a few years older than her 50-year-old baby sis,’ Chilli.

Ironically, Chilli and Marni didn’t grow up together, but they share the same love of music. Marni has been a contemporary gospel artist since the mid-’90s, around the same time TLC was crackin’…

They are now reportedly estranged. Marni revealed, in a Youtube interview, that “the devil” tore them apart, but she expressed that she hopes to reconnect with her sister one day in the near future.

For a while, it seemed liked Chili and ‘Mr. Ursher baby’ were damn near about to jump the broom, they were very happy and inseparable. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out that way…and one divorce, two babies, and one marriage later (all by way of Usher), Chili seems to have had a flashback moment.

It all started with one simple tweet Chili retweeted from someone who tagged both Chili and Usher in a tweet that read, “@Usher & @officialchilli were a pretty a$$ couple!❤💔”

The tweet seemed innocent enough, but once Chili retweeted it with her own caption that read, “Facts,” fans turned it into a whole ‘notha thing altogether:

Chili Tries To Explain

Not even Chili could ignore the reactions, so she decided to respond to one fan with a question:

Overall, Chili should’ve known her tweet would stir up a lil’ hype, which in my opinion, she probably was already aware of. In today’s world of social media, it’s damn near impossible for her not to assume that her tweeting about Usher, whom she rarely speaks about publicly, would not catch the attention of her 860K Twitter fans.

For the record though, although Usher loved him some Chili back in the day, he seems happy with his current wife, Grace Miguel (48). Hopefully Chili finds ‘what Chili wants’ in a man soon…we’ll keep the faith for her.

Now …I will say this, he was TRULY my boyfriend, now I don’t know if I was his girlfriend, but he was TRULY my boyfriend, okay?!! And we spent a LOT of time together. I got a chance to spend a LOTTA time with him, especially when…well, he would come to the show [“The Wiz” Broadway play Stephanie was starring in as “Dorothy” at the time] almost everyday and sit back and watch…and I got a chance to go to the house.
