The ever so controversially entertaining Stacey Dash, almost landed a vital role in a ’90s movie that would have, in my opinion, threw the whole movie off. This is one you gotta see to believe because never in a million years would you probably be able to envision her playing the part.

Graphic designer, Brent Rollins (who also designed the “Boyz N’ The Hood” logo) revealed that he was present when Stacy showed up to audition for the role and here’s what he had to say…

“Stacey Dash actually tried out for the film’s role of the studious ghetto-flower, Brandy, which was later rewarded to Nia Long. I was there when she came to read for the part, and I still have the drool soaked tee-shirt to prove it.”

Luckily for Stacey, soon after her “Boyz N The Hood” audition, she landed a very popular role in a film that was far more suitable for her, “Clueless.”

Remember he and Stacey dated back in the ’80s? Then she went on TV shortly after, and blasted him for being a ‘dead beat dad.’

When Single Ladies premiered on VH1 in May of 2011, fans immediately gravitated to the ladies and were sure the show would be around for quite some time. The series, which starred LisaRaye McCoy and Stacey Dash, quickly became a fan-favorite, but things took an unexpected turn after just one season. Stacey Dash abruptly exited stage left and never returned.

After Stacey pulled a ‘dearly departed’ move on ’em, everyone involved with the show were giving fans the sound of crickets whenever they’d ask ‘What’s up with Stacy Dash? Where’s she been?’ Mind you, this was just before Stacey started truly letting the real Stacey Dash surface in public, so many of the show’s fans- primarily African American woman- still liked her…

Stacey did manage to release a politically correct statement shortly after her departure was made public. The actress claimed the filming location was the reason for her decision to leave the show.

“I truly enjoyed playing Val on ‘Single Ladies’, but I have decided to leave the show. I have to be back in LA with my children right now and the ‘Single Ladies’ shooting location makes that impossible. I wish VH1 the best of luck with the show and in maintaining the strong fan base we developed in season one.”

Shortly after Stacey’s statement was released, VH1 followed up with a response to Stacey’s decision:

“VH1 respects Stacey’s decision and her commitment to what she feels is best for her family. We thank her for all of her hard work in making ‘Single Ladies’ a success right out of the gate, and we wish her nothing but the best in her future plans.”

But, despite Stacey’s quiet departure, there was always speculation about the real reason she’d left. Years later, the truth was revealed when LisaRaye spoke out. By now, most fans probably know LisaRaye has never been one to mince words and she definitely didn’t when discussing Stacey Dash. In fact, she admitted she got Stacey Dash axed from the show.

A few months ago LisaRaye finally admitted there was more to it than just Stacey’s ‘location troubles,’ or the watered down version she, herself, had given us years prior. Turns out their altercation on set got heated and Dash had to be checked for trying to get physical with LisaRaye, according to Lisa. Then she basically alluded to having Stacey fired:

“In Hollywood, I’ve learned to be a boss,” LisaRaye said in a clip promoting her appearance on the Centric TV series “Being.” “I had to say to Stacey Dash, ‘If you don’t get your motherf**king finger out of my face…’ So for our second season of Single Ladies, there was a replacement for Stacey Dash.”

LisaRaye also shared details about disputes she had with Stacey and how the conflicts ultimately led to her departure. “Yes, there was a disagreement over a scene. And it really wasn’t with me. It was with the director,” said LisaRaye. “I think it was about 2 or 3 a.m., and we’d been shooting all damn day. Stacey tried to argue with the director about a line. And I’m like: ‘Girl, if you don’t say what the director wants you to say.’ It wasn’t that serious at first, but it went there.”

But, despite all that’s happened, the ladies have managed to put their differences aside and learned to still be amicable, according to what LisaRaye revealed to MadameNoire. She also said she understands their prior run-in was a result of them being frustrated and tired on set at the time and that she has nothing against Stacey, although she did admit that they could probably never be ‘friends.’

As far as the more recent political and societal comments Stacey’s been making lately, Lisa says that she absolutely does not agree with her. However, she did close that message off with a nice-nasty well-wish to ol’ girl, Ms. Dash, and all of her future endeavors- political, or otherwise:

They say there’s someone out there for everybody and apparently fired Fox host/actress, Stacey Dash, has finally found her soul mate. News has just surfaced that the controversial, oddly opinionated diva, jumped the broom with a dude who’s known for being just as controversial as she is; and they did so at lightening speed.

Who She Married & His Fake Persona

Page Six has just dropped the news that Stacey hung up her prior congresswoman aspirations to wed a controversial attorney, named Jeffrey Marty, on April 6, 2018. The kicker is that they apparently only knew each other 10 DAYS before saying, ‘I do.’

At the time of their reported wedding, Stacey Dash had just thrown in the towel on her so-called run for Congress in California’s 44th congressional district – just a week prior to. Apparently she was trading in her ignorant, political ambitions for love.

This is Stacey’s fourth marriage. Like we said though, she has probably found her soulmate in Jeffrey Marty for a couple reasons:
(1) He is the man behind a fake democratic Congressman Twitter page, who’s known for riling up many on social media, as being the one democrat who supports Donald Trump. As the fake congressmen, Rep. Steven Smith, of Georgia’s 15th district (which actually does not exist), Jeffrey Marty has managed to maintain a following of 50K on Twitter.

Even though his account and the fake Congressman he created, have long since been outed as a scam, he still dedicates himself to updating his Twitter account on the regular with many anti-antics against Hillary Clinton and Democrats. All the while he praises Donald Trump and all that he’s so called ‘doing for the country.’ Below is one of his fake tweets…

(2) Despite the fact that the character is fake, Jeffrey Marty seemingly uses it as a platform to express his true feelings about America, Trump and Democrats. According to AOL, Jeffrey’s prior interview, he threw incredible shade at former President Barack Obama, Bill Cosby and big upp’ed Trump:

Via AOL- “I’ve been playing this role since October 30, 2013, when I bought 5,000 followers from some Russian guy,” [Jeffrey Marty] confirmed in 2016 in a post for the conservative outlet The Daily Caller. “[CNN anchor] Christiane Amanpour fell for the hoax the next day.”

Marty also in the piece refers to Barack Obama as “insane” and Bill Clinton as “worse than Bill Cosby.”

Told y’all Stacey and her new hubby were two peas in a pod.

In February 2018, Stacey Dash stirred up a ruckus yet again, when she originally put in her bid to run for California’s 44th congressional district. Just one month later, on March 30th, she dug her name up outta that hat and publicly quit.

At the time, it seemed that the enormous backlash and her unlikeliness to win, is what caused Dash to bow out of the race. However, it’s evident to see now, that she was instead apparently prepping for her new role as ‘Mrs. Jeffrey Marty.’

Ms. Dash has just announced that she’s dropping her bid to run for Congress in the state of California, after just 32 days of campaigning. If there were a virtual chorus, they’d be singing right about now.

Why She Ran- To Free Folks From A Plantation?

You see, on February 26, 2018, Stacey proved just how “clueless” she really is, when she decided to officially file paperwork to put in her Congressional seat bid in for a district that overwhelmingly voted for Democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, by 83%-12% in 2016. Dash, a republican and avid Trump cheerleader , believed that she had a shot at winning in a California district that includes Compton, Watts, San Pedro and North Long Beach, and has long since represented by a Democrat. Stacey Dash, as we all know, is widely viewed by many African Americans, as a “coon,” due to her many ultra conservative political beliefs. However, in early March she said she decided to run for Congress in order to ‘free people from mental slavery’:

“I wouldn’t run if I didn’t think I could win,” [Stacey Dash] said. “I plan on breaking out of the box. I want to shake the tree, rock the boat. I want to free people from the shackles of a plantation mentality.” -via The Guardian

Dash’s Announcement Of Withdrawal Congressional Race

Welp folks, I guess she must’ve had a revelation and realized there was no way in HELL that she was gonna win in a district made up of many African Americans and Latinos. Thus, she has now made a ‘non-clueless’ decision, by doing one of the wisest things she’s probably done in years- she released her official announcement that she was dropping out of the race for Congress in California:

“After much prayer, introspection and discussions with my family, I am withdrawing my candidacy for California’s 44th Congressional District,” wrote Dash. “I started this run with the intention to address the pressing issues in the district where I live. I hoped, and remain hopeful, that I can assist people living here on a national level. My goal was, and remains, to improve the lives of people who have been forgotten for decades by the Democratic Party.”

Even though Stacey Dash probably knows good n’ well that she stood NO chance of winning, she still gave a suspect reason for her withdrawal, by instead blaming her decision on wanting to protect her family and whatnot:

“At this point, I believe that the overall bitterness surrounding the political process, participating in the rigors of campaigning, and holding the elected office would be detrimental to the health and wellbeing of my family. I would never want to betray the personal and spiritual principles I believe in most: that my God and my family come first.”

I think this is one of the better moves Stacey Dash has made within the past decade or so. She’s seemingly trying to save face in her withdrawal letter, but at least ‘little Ms. Clueless’ got outta that inevitable mega-loss while she was ahead, so to speak. Stacey Dash may have been dragged to hell for criticizing Oprah Winfrey last night, but it doesn’t look like she plans to back down anytime soon. Although Oprah impressed the vast majority of people who had the opportunity to hear her speak at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards, apparently Stacey Dash wasn’t one of them. Almost immediately after the speech, speculation about Oprah running for president in 2020 sparked a media firestorm. But the Clueless actress was determined to detour fans from even thinking of supporting Oprah. She slammed the billionaire businesswoman with a link to a fake news article, filled with less-than-favorable rumors about Ms. Winfrey and now she’s back at it again.

Not Backin’ Down:

Now, Stacey Dash is raising an argument similar to Seal’s. In a hella long open letter, she’s attacking the former talk show host for her relationship with Harvey Weinstein. Although Winfrey, herself, is a victim of sexual abuse, Dash seems to believe that she was aware of Weinstein’s alleged disturbing actions, which is why she refuses to back down from what she believes. Although she offered no proof of Oprah actually ‘knowing about Weinstein,’ once again, she’s still defending her previous stance. She also defended men who have been wrongfully accused of assault:

“I won’t walk back what I believe. Oprah the homecoming queen, prom queen and class president knew. Meryl, the high school drama star knew. Most of those women wearing black knew. The class clown, Seth McFarland knew. He joked about it a few years ago on the Oscars, Hollywood’s equivalent of the prom. You know how I can say this? BECAUSE I KNEW. So how “clueless” am I? I knew enough when meeting Harvey Weinstein, to bring a male chaperone and it paid off as he did make a move on me. My chaperone blocked him and said, “Not this one.” … My chaperone knew.”

Again, although Dash claims an alleged sexual assault attempt, by Weinstein, was blocked in her encounter, she still never provided proof to back up her claim that Oprah knew about what Weinstein reportedly did with women behind closed doors. Moving on…

On Seal:

Of course Stacey Dash had a few things to say about singer, Seal. Initially, it seemed like the two were on the Oprah bashing train together, but Seal quickly retracted his statement after backlash and threw Dash under the bus for siding with him. But Dash is making one thing clear. She won’t be going the same route Seal did, because she meant what she said:

“Seal spoke up. He upset the Homecoming, Prom Queen and Class President, Oprah. Seal walked back what he had to say. Fine.”

She continued:

“Seal’s entitled to his opinion, whichever one he chooses to support or retract. With me, the use of his “words” was done by an overzealous assistant who now knows better. However, I stand firm on my own belief that the kids at the cool table knew.”

As expected, Stacey Dash’s words have been met with opposition from Oprah Winfrey fans. She may want to tread lightly, because if Oprah decides to run, she could be fighting an uphill, political battle for the next couple years…one that Dash would inevitably lose, based on her non-proven allegations against Oprah.

Then there is pop star, Seal. He, however, not only doesn’t think Oprah is the person for the job, but he sideways dissed her on Instagram over the idea. The “Kiss From A Rose” singer singled out Oprah for having once been an associate of former Hollywood executive, Harvey Weinstein- the dude who’s recently been outed for allegedly sexually assaulting many women in Hollywood. Prior to celebs learning about the many allegations against Weinstein, many of them were associated with him, because they had no reason NOT to be. So why Seal chose to single out Oprah? Who knows.

After Oprah gave her Golden Globes speech in which she actually denounced sexual predators, Seal posted a meme that read:

“When you have been part of the problem for decades, but suddenly they all think you are the solution.”

And he captioned it with this:

“Oh I forgot, that’s right….. you’d heard the [rumors] but you had no idea he was actually serially assaulting young [starry]-eyed actresses who in turn had no idea what they were getting into. My bad. #SanctimoniousHollywood.”

As you could imagine, fans slammed the hell outta Seal, calling him a “hater” and “Uncle Tom” after his blatant diss to Ms. Winfrey. He also gained an ally afterwards- avid Trump supporter, Stacey Dash, who retweeted his Oprah diss.

I guess that’s when the heat got too hot in the kitchen for Seal and now he’s decided to backpeddle on his Oprah diss, by trying to convince us all that we did not see what we actually saw in his prior post. Good luck with that Seal. At any rate check out what he now has to say below:

My parents are from Africa — more specifically, Nigeria — and I am about as black as you will ever get […] “And, Stacey Dash…keep my name out of your mouth. Do not retweet, re-quote anything I have said in order to reinforce your self-hating agenda. … You live in the Sunken Place.”
