ILOSM family…in case y’all haven’t yet heard, Mo’Nique has just caused quite a stir on these social media streets again. In the latest chapter of their long-standing beef, Mo’Nique has once again thrown verbal jabs at media moguls, Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry. During a recent performance (see video below) on Katt Williams’ tour, Mo’Nique let loose with a cuss-word-laced tirade, branding Winfrey and Perry as “coon mothaf*****s”.

Mo’Nique made her feelings abundantly clear, shouting, “F*** YOU OPRAH WINFREY, F*** YOU TYLER PERRY!!!” The crowd echoed her sentiments, adding a crude twist. But not everyone seemed eager to join the onslaught, with some audience members displaying hesitation. Mo’Nique wasted no time in calling out an Oprah fan, even encouraging him to “bring O back to Black” by engaging in intimate activities with her, if you catch my drift.

But Mo’ didn’t stop there. Amidst her barrage of bashing, Mo’Nique sarcastically expressed her love for Oprah while simultaneously referring to her as “simple-minded” and a “raggedy bit*h”. She then went on to question the nature of Oprah’s relationship with Gayle King, hinting at a romantic connection between the two.

Mo’Nique then proceeded to stir up the longstanding rumor that has followed Gayle King and Oprah Winfrey for most of their careers, by suggesting Gayle and Oprah are friends with benefits so to speak.

To solidify her points overall, Mo’Nique offered an explanation for her statements to the audience, stating “I’m too mothaf***in’ old to be scared of this bit*h. I’m too old to be intimidated by this bit*h. I’m too old to hold the mothaf***in’ truth.”

This ongoing feud between Mo’Nique, Oprah, and Tyler Perry traces back to Mo’Nique’s allegations of being “blackballed” in Hollywood after she refused to participate in certain press events for the film “Precious”, which Winfrey and Perry produced. Over the years, Mo’Nique has repeatedly accused both stars of actively sabotaging her career.

Notably, Mo’Nique previously appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, claiming to possess a recording of Tyler Perry bad-mouthing her, an allegation that Perry vehemently denied.

The animosity between Mo’Nique and these Hollywood powerhouses has persisted for over a decade, and it doesn’t show any signs of slowing down one bit. Despite the controversy surrounding their beef, Mo’Nique remains resolute, refusing to apologize for her remarks during her recent set. And based on Tyler’s and Oprah’s repeated public silence regarding Mo’Nique’s accusations throughout the years, it seems they refuse to apologize for any alleged wrongdoing toward her as well. Highly acclaimed director/actor, Tyler Perry, opened up about the man who he says abused him to the point of no return when he was a child- his father…or so the man he thought was his father, Emmitt Perry Sr., but we’ll get to that in second.

Many of Tyler Perry’s fans probably already have heard him tell the horrific stories of his childhood while growing up in New Orleans, LA. Although he had a loving mother, aunt, and grandmother, he’s revealed that he was abused in many ways by other adults around him. He was reportedly sexually assaulted repeatedly by a male relative (not his father); sexually assaulted by his female adult neighbor; and on a daily basis he says he was severely physically and emotionally abused by his dad, whom he says used to beat him for any given reason and sometimes for apparently no reason at all.

In his interview on Oprah’s Masterclass, Tyler revealed something that shocked the hell outta us and everyone else watching- that for one, he found out at the age of 40– soon after his beloved mother, Willie Maxine Perry’s death — that his daddy ain’t his biological daddy and (2) the biggest shocker of it all is that Tyler says he still takes care of his abusive dad to this day.

“From a child I’d always known that this man despised me,” Tyler said in reference to his father. However, he also explained why he chooses to give his former abuser the good life these days:

“Yes, I still take care of the man I thought was my father, absolutely, because number one, my mother asked me to because she loved him. And secondly, as terrible as he was and as horrible as he was, he never once left us, we were never hungry and every time he’d go to work, all week, he’d bring all the money home. So in return, I’m giving him what he gave to me. I had shelter, I had food. He has shelter…pretty NICE shelter…and any food that he wants to eat. But also, what I missed from him -being a relationship- is also what he misses from me now. So he doesn’t have EVERYTHING, he has what’s easy.”

Okay, now that Tyler Perry put it that way, I can kinda see where he’s coming from. I must admit though, that the brotha is a very honorable dude because there are plenty of folks who’d just be like “to hell with” his daddy after what he put Tyler through.

Chico Describes Night Of Stabbing

Chico Debarge: I got stabbed in 2003. I was at a play with Tyler Perry—me and Kelly Price and Tyler Perry. It was a play called “Why Did I get Married?” …We were in Philly. It was around the end of October, November, and I just was out there in the play.”

Chico said that after the play that night, his friend’s new female acquaintance, actually played them, by using his friend to make her real boyfriend- a mob gangster- jealous. The unnamed friend didn’t know the woman had another man, so he and Chico were not aware that was why she’d asked them to meet her at a club where her mafia boyfriend would also be.

Chico Debarge: So I took him to it, and when I got in there, you could tell it was made men; it was like you stepped right into “Goodfellas.” … I was like, ‘Hmm, this is not right.’ […] To me, it was obvious. She just met my friend and she’s all over him. … It looks like she’s trying to make somebody jealous. And sure enough she was trying to make this guy, who was a hit man for the mob, jealous.

That’s when the fight broke out:

CD: He [the Italian mobster] sent a girl over there to beat the girl’s butt, so they got in a fight. And when they got in a fight, my associate [his friend] intervened, and I guess he must’ve touched the girl to do it because I was at a distance when I saw it go down, and just, the troops came in. The guy got up—that was his reason to get up—he pursued my friend and an altercation took place. And I ended up stabbed. […] I was stabbed in the side, like, by my kidney: a seven-inch scar from my kidney close to my lung.

I didn’t know I was stabbed, so I was still fighting. Then my friend kicked the door down. There was an exit door and he kicked it. We jetted out of there. Then I began to feel like my shoes were sloppy wet and I began to feel dehydrated. … My mouth was very dry. I could feel there was something wrong. When I moved a certain way, that’s when I felt the sting—like a hot burn. I was like, “Wow. Did I get shot?” I lift my shirt up for him. I said, “I’m alright?” And he looked at me like, “Oh no!”

A Philadelphia Eagles Player Helped Save Chico’s Life

By a chance of fate, Chico luckily ran out of an exit door where a Philadelphia Eagles player (Chico didn’t name which one) who was skilled in those types of injuries, happened to be standing nearby…

CD: One of the guys from the Philadelphia Eagles was next door. I guess he owned a club with security or whatever. …He knew what he was doing and he was security; he deals with situations like this all the time and for me not to lay down because my adrenaline—he wanted to keep my adrenaline flowing. He started coaching me. He said the ambulance is on the way so I knew it was kind of serious. But I went to the hospital. Then the police came and they wanted me to identify the dude, which I would not do.

Man Who Allegedly Stabbed Chico Loses His Life 2 Weeks Later

The guy who stabbed Chico was allegedly the same mob boyfriend of his friend’s female acquaintance. Chico said that although the cops caught the guy that same night, they had to let him go because Chico refused to snitch on him. Two weeks after that incident, the guy lost his life apparently in an unrelated event.

In the case of Tyler Perry, his life is a perfect example of that. Sure, today the New Orleans native is worth about $600 MILLION, but the pains he endured at the doings of his father (and other loved ones) hurt worse than 600 million punches, to say the least.

Why Perry’s Dad Had Him & Mom Arrested

In a prior interview, the director/screenwriter/actor recalled the time his father, the late Emmitt Perry Sr., called the cops on him; his mother, Willie Maxine Perry; and his sisters when he was younger. Emmitt was married to Willie Maxine at the time. Tyler went into detail about the day that his mom once got so fed up with Emmitt severely beating her and her kids, that she packed them all up and drove from Louisiana to California in their family car, leaving Emmitt behind.

Needless to say, their fleeing was a sense of relief for Tyler, because he was terrified of his alcoholic dad, whom he says never liked him since birth and physically abused him to no end. That sigh of relief came to a screeching halt soon after they’d fled though. You see, as payback for them leaving, Emmitt called the cops and reported the car as stolen. He even let it go as far as to have ALL of them arrested! Tyler says that when his dad came to pick them up from the county jail, he beat his mother the entire ride home!

Tyler Perry also recalled another time when his dad beat him so bad as a child, that the skin was coming off his back:

Via Rolling Out:“You … jacka–! You got book sense but you ain’t got no … common sense,” he recalled his father, Emmitt Perry Sr., saying. “I heard this every day of my childhood,” Perry once said. But it didn’t stop there. One night, when his mother was gone, Perry claimed that his drunken father “got the vacuum cleaner extension cord and trapped me in a room and beat me until the skin was coming off my back.”

Perry Explains Why He Takes Care Of His ‘Abusive’ Dad

Tyler has many more abusive stories he’s shared about what he endured from his dad, but in spite of it all, he’s doing what many people would not for their former abuser. He’s taking care of his dad now and has him living in a plush home, with all of the perks included…EXCEPT there’s one thing Tyler refuses to give him:

When it comes to helping others in their time of need, Tyler Perry has earned a spot at the top of that list. The generosity that brotha has displayed throughout the years, is something that brings tears to the eyes of many – just at the thought of it.

The New Orleans, LA native, who grew up in a poor neighborhood and ended up living out of his car, prior to making a name for himself, was just a hungry filmmaker and screenplay writer. When he first met gospel singer, LaShun Pace, 20 years ago, she saw his vision and was honored to be a part of it. As a result of that mutual respect and admiration, she starred in one of his stage plays back then.

Throughout the years, they’ve kept in touch and she’s witnessed that hungry writer blossom into the $600-million media mogul he is today. Simply proud to have worked with such a living legend, LaShun never asked for anything from Tyler. Fast forward to now, the “Madea” creator offered has extended a helping hand to her dying mother in a way she would have NEVER imagined.

It was recently reported, by 11Alive News-Atlanta, that Tyler Perry has gifted LaShun’s mother, Betty Ann Pace, a $350K two-story home of her own. It was Ms. Betty’s wish come true.

During an interview with the news outlet, LaShun revealed that her mother was diagnosed with stage V kidney failure. Ms. Betty’s final request was to own a home that she and her daughters would be able to live in comfortably. Tyler did just that and brought LaShun’s mother’s to tears, which was all caught on camera.

Via 11Alive News: “They gave her four days to a week to live and she’s still living today,” LaShun said. Recently, her mother met Perry, and she told him her last wish was to become a homeowner.

“Before I die, I need a home for me and my daughters,” LaShun said, relaying her mother’s dream. Thanks to Perry’s generosity, the dream became a reality. He surprised 80-year-old Betty with a home. “I love you,” Betty cried. “I thank God for you.”

As soon as Betty Ann was taken to her surprise home, all she could do was shout, “Glory, God! Hallelujah.”

Tyler Perry’s Message To Fans

Tyler took to social media early Tuesday (July 11, 2018) to address a scam on Facebook, that he says was just brought to his attention. Someone is posing as the “Madea” filmmaker and asking fans’ for personal info, in order for them to collect their portion of $1million in cars and money in a Tyler Perry give-away.

Apparently the scam was that fans were told that Tyler Perry would be giving away a total of $1M worth of gifts to many different fans, over the course of the next few weeks or months. Soon as Tyler heard that $1M’s were promised in free gifts, he was like ‘HELLLL To the naw, to the naw naw, to the naw, naw, naw!’ Then he commenced to alerting his fans with this message:

“I am not giving away anything on Facebook,” Tyler sternly stated in his video message. “I am not giving away any money. My team has to shut down these things every day. There’s a new one popping up. Do not give your information to any of these people. Do not … give them anything. I don’t know who they are, but every day we have to get 10, 20, 30 of those things shut down on Facebook. I am not giving away anything. This is Tyler Perry. I’m not giving away anything. Please do me a favor: post this everywhere, so people will know that it’s not true.”

It’s unclear how long a scammer has been trolling folks for info in Tyler’s name. However, due to the fact that being that Tyler is known for being such a generous brotha, it’s understandable how some people could have possibly mistaken the give-away as the real deal.

In the melody of Dionne Warwick’s 1985 classic, we’ll start this off with a collective serenade of “That’s what [RICH] friends are for.” When you see what Tyler Perry just bought for comedic actress, Tiffany Haddish- who will also be starring in his upcoming film, “Nobodys Fool”- you’ll understand why.

Tyler’s Surprise Video Message To Tiffany

The “Madea” film creator is worth about $600million. So what’s $80G’s to a brotha with that much in cash and assets, right? Not much, when it comes to gifting his homegirl, Tiffany, with a new vehicle just for the fun of it.

As most of us may already know (because Tiff’ points it out every chance she gets) Ms. Haddish prefers to live life on the more cost-efficient, frugal side of things. However, there is one purchase she’s long ago admitted that she would love to splurge on, if granted the opportunity and a large enough bank account. That is her love for the ever so classy Tesla Model X car.

That brings us to her friend, Tyler Perry, and his new gift. Even though Tiffany can now afford to purchase her own Tesla, given that she’s currently the hottest thing since sliced bread in Hollywood, she claims she never had a chance to slow up and purchase her car. According to Tyler though, that’s a bunch of bullcrap.

He thinks Tiff’ has yet to buy her dream car because she’s just started earning a certain type of income and is therefore, apprehensive about spending it, out of fear it may slow up soon. He said he can relate to the new lifestyle adjustment she’s trying to get used to, because he’s been there. Soooo, Tyler figured, ‘Ah, what the hell? Let me pick up that new $80,000.00 Tesla Model X for Tiff’ real quick, while I’m out.’ Okay, maybe he didn’t say it quite that way, but still…See what RICH friends will do for ya?

Here’s part of what Tyler told Tiffany in his video surprise (above), just before holding up the keys to her new car:

“I know you’ve been talking ’bout this for a long time. I was trying to talk you into going get it. I told you call the dealership, have them bring the car to you. You were like, ‘I don’t have time, I don’t have time.’ But I knwo what the real deal is. The real deal is, you gotta…be okay with spending a lil’ bit of money. So, I wanted to gift this to you and say you deserve it.”

Tiffany’s Emotional Response

Tiffany took to Instagram on Friday (July 6th) to thank Tyler and to also let fans know how she really felt when he surprised her with her new blue Tesla:

“So I got this message from my friend and Big Brother @tylerperry a week ago. When I tell you I cried so hard. I almost couldn’t believe it. 1st off a man has never bought me a car out right. I have always had to make payments. This was just out the kindness of his heart And probably tired of me talking about it all the time and I didn’t have to do anything for it but a Great job in our New Movie Nobody’s Fool. Thank God for kind people that want to spread happiness. I am now on my way to see if this is Really! Cause I am still waiting on the one @theellenshow said they would let me use for a week. #sheready #Tesla #Nobody’sFool #thelastblackunicorn”

As y’all can see, Tyler pulled a move out of the bag of generous tricks that his good friend, Oprah Winfrey, created: ‘You get a car! You get a car! You get a car!’ Giving an old school fist bump and handclap to Tyler Perry for this one!
