• Carole “Cookie” Cole: Born in 1944 in Massachusetts. Adopted in 1949 by Maria and Nat after Carole’s mother, Maria’s sister, died of tuberculosis. Carol became an actress and faced a lot of drama surrounding the child her Mother had her put up for adoption when she was a young lady.
• Natalie Cole: Born in 1950 in Los Angeles, California.
• Nat Kelly Cole: Born in 1959. Adopted by Maria and Nat. Nat Kelly was an actor. He died on October 24, 1995 of complications from AIDS. Natalie Cole said this about her brother: “My dad and my brother were brave men. Similar in so many ways. You couldn’t tell either of them not to confront prejudice. My father refused to perform before a segregated audience. My brother refused to lie about being gay. Both put their careers at risk by doing so.”
• Timolin Cole: Born in 1961.
• Casey Cole: Born in 1961.

And there you have it people, the Cole family is a talented group and it’s a beautiful thing seeing the remaining Cole offspring keeping the Cole legacy alive in many ways.
