I ILOSM fam, most of us, Old Schoolers on here, can relate to some moment in time where we realized ‘Damn, I’m getting old as hell.’ Or a time when we at least stopped ourselves dead in our tracks as soon as we heard our parents’ voices, tone, and words involuntarily fly directly out of our mouths and toward our children after catching them doing something they knew good n’ well they had no business doing. Well, now a new trend just popped up on Twitter, called #IFirstNoticedIWasOldWhen. And watching Generation X and up (40 years olds and up) tweet their ‘ah-ha!’ moments of what they refer to as “getting old,” is too funny and ALL too relatable…

And although we, here at ILOSM, refer to aging as becoming ‘Old School- more well seasoned and filled with wisdom,’ we’re not gonna act like some of our 40-plus year old crew ’round were not waking around with Taraji’s school hairdo back in the day…or at least had a girlfriend, sister, friend, or cousin who was…
