Basketball fans wasted no time giving their reactions to Drake’s moment of concern, and the majority of them were convinced that he was faking for the cameras.

A popular Canadian IG page celebrated Durant’s injury and once Drake found out about it he immediately shut them down by commenting under his IG username.

 

At an attempt at good sportsmanship Drake paid tribute to Durant in a touching post on his IG. Captioning a picture of Durant he wrote;

Was tough for any of us to even enjoy that game tonight after seeing this transpire. Praying for our brother. That’s my only concern tonight is your well being. “The game needs me” is an understatement when it comes to 35. Please wish the best for this true warrior

Way to keep it classy Drake. As for Durant, following the game Warriors president Bob Myers gave an emotional update. From CBS Sports;

“It’s an Achilles injury,” Myers said, while fighting off tears. “I don’t know the extent of it. He’ll have an MRI tomorrow. … I don’t believe there’s anybody to blame. But I understand this world. And if you have to, you can blame me. I run our basketball operations department.”
