Apollonia is looking really good at 56 years young!

She’s also still showing love to Prince, this is what she recently posted on her Twitter page:
Apollonia has taken a step back from the spotlight and is getting paper behind the scenes now. She has a multimedia company called Kotero Entertainment, that she started in 2005. Through her company, she’s formed various partnerships with several producers to produce a children’s animated television series, as well as feature films. Kotero Entertainment also manages young talent, including models, actors, musicians, directors and producers.

As far as her personal life, she’s been romantically linked to a variety of cats in entertainment, ranging from Prince, to rocker, David Lee Roth. She tied the knot with writer, Kevin Berhardt in 1987 and they remained married until 1996.

A Minneapolis news channel caught up with Apollonia last year when she was in town to celebrate Purple Rain’s 30th anniversary. It’s so hard to believe it’s been that long since that classic came out. Time flies like a mug, doesn’t it?!!

Old School Fun Fact: Vanity was originally the star of Purple Rain, but after she and Prince allegedly got into a relationship dispute (yep Prince was supposedly dating her too), she quit right before filming began. The other two members of Vanity 6 stayed on board though.
Prince wasn’t about to let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch, so he hastily found Apollonia Kotero and put her in Vanity’s former place, thus the group, Apollonia 6, was born.
