Jussie Slapped With Huge Lawsuit By City Of Chicago & This Time, He May Not Stand A Chance
Empire star, Jussie Smollett, has just found himself between a rock and a hard place regarding his reportedly staged attack. Word on the Old School curb is that the city of Chicago has just hit him with a mega lawsuit. But it ain’t like they didn’t try to warn him beforehand…Jussie just didn’t take heed to it.
Why Jussie Smollet Is Being Sued
As we previously reported, the city of Chicago had sent an official request, listed as ‘Request Of investigation Costs for False Police Report,’ to Jussie’s legal team. The letter demanded that Jussie pay back the full costs of the nearly 2 month long investigation that he allegedly staged, totaling a little over $130,000.00. They’d given him the standard 7 day period to repay his debt. Thursday, April 4, 2019 has officially surpassed that 7-day demand.
