Welp, that was apparently what happened to Usher when his homie, Chris Brown, flew clean off the handle Friday night, reportedly resulting in an all-out brawl with Usher. In case you haven’t heard about that, let us fill you in…but not before we share new video footage of Usher lookin’ unbothered today.

Usher Shares Video Lookin’ Unbothered, After Alleged Beatdown

The day after Chris Brown and/or his goons allegedly molly-whopped Usher in a reportedly unfair fight, it seems the “Good Kisser” singer is taking it all in stride, while simultaneously making sure to show a close-up of his face. As you can see in the below video, Usher has no visible swelling, nor bruises on his face…although it’s unclear if he’s wearing makeup to cover any bruises up.

Nevertheless, fans are just glad the brotha is doing well, and will still be performing in spite of the unfortunate disaster that went down between he and Chris Brown last night.

Alleged Chris Brown-Usher Fight Was Over Singer, Teyana Taylor? (Video)

According to what several sources have revealed to Youtube vlogger, Tasha K, and reporter, B. Scott, Usher threw Chris Brown a birthday party at a skating rink in Las Vegas last night. Everything supposedly was all good, until one of Chris’s other now-former close friends – singer Teyana Taylor – showed up. Teyana and Chris have been damn near best friends for many years, with Teyana even putting herself on the line, by standing up for Chris when the domestic violence drama between he and Rihanna happened years ago.

You see, Teyana –who according to TMZ, is a creative director for many artists’ musical performances, projects, etc– was said to have been involved in the creative direction for the AMA’s ‘MJ tribute.’ Word on the old school curb is that the AMA’s began to catch a lot of online flack from folks who were claiming the ceremony was ‘allowing one abuser to pay tribute to another abuser.’ Obviously, those people were referring to the 2009 Chris Brown/Rihanna domestic violence incident, as well as the unproven allegations in the “Leaving Neverland” documentary.

It’s been alleged that as a result of the backlash at that time, Chris was allegedly pulled from the show within a day or so of his scheduled ‘MJ’ performance. As a result, Chris felt like Teyana did not have his back, says sources.

Fast fast forward to last night, and Chris was apparently still highly pissed when he realized Usher had invited Teyana to his birthday party. Several onlookers said Chris started going completely OFF as he vented his frustrations about Teyana to Usher, supposedly referring to Teyana as a “b!**h” and whatnot.

Those same sources also said Teyana handled the whole thing like a lady, without engaging in the public spectacle with Chris; while Usher tried to calm Chris down. However, as Usher was reportedly trying to talk Chris back down to a level-head, spectators claim Chris demanded that not only Usher make Teyana leave the party…but that Usher exit the party as well– which he supposedly threw for Chris! Laaaawd…🤦🏽.

Anywho, Usher reportedly refused to leave, but Teyana decided it was best she exit, which she did. Chris then supposedly stormed out of his own birthday party, and Usher followed him to the parking lot, allegedly still attempting to talk his friend and get him to calm down. Unfortunately, according to onlookers, that’s when either Chris, or a few of Chris’s ‘goons’ reportedly snuck Usher, and proceeded to jump him in the parking lot!!

Following the dust-up, sources say Usher was pissed, and understandably so.

It’s unclear what, if anything, has transpired between the three friends now…but there doesn’t seem to have been much of a reconciliation whatsoever at this point.

Nonetheless, Usher is still hittin’ the stage Saturday night for the “Friends & Lovers” concert in Las Vegas. No word on if Chris Brown will still be performing at the show. Can’t we all just get along?!!

Jamie Foxx (52)has always had a very close bond with his 36 year old sister, DeOndra Dixon. His sister has Down Syndrome and Jaime has oftentimes spoken out about her in interviews. Many of us are also familiar with DeOndra because she’s always by her big brother’s side on red carpets, award shows, and other events, smiling for the cameras.

As her provider and protector, Foxx always has his sister’s back and treats her like a princess. That’s why when she makes big wishes like the one Jaime revealed about Chris Brown (31), he tries his best to make sure DeOndra’s wish is his command.

Jaime Is Grateful For What Chris Brown Does For His Sister

In a past interview with Queen Latifah, Foxx revealed what Chris Brown always does for his sister, who is a big fan of his. He also pointed out that the controversial Brown that the media knows, has a whole other side to him:

Foxx: I wanna give a special shout out to somebody. There’s a young man by the name of Chris Brown, who always gets a whole lotta things said about him and he does a few thing that maybe we may take out of context. But when I call Chris Brown about my sister, because she has a huge crush on him- he drops everything. No cameras around, he comes and dances with her, hangs out with her…”

Brown’s visits makes DeOndra beyond happy and as y’all can see, Jaime is humbled that Brown takes those moments outta his busy schedule to put a smile on his sister’s face.

Aside from being a Chris Brown fan, DeOndra is like her big bro,’ she LOVES the camera and is confident in herself. So much so, that Jaime also revealed the hilarious thing she did on the set of his video shoot:

Foxx: I’m shooting a video called “Blame It On The Alcohol,” my sister [DeOndra] says, “Big bruh you gon’ let me get down, right?” I said ‘What you mean?’… “I wanna dance in the video,” [DeOndra said]. I said ‘Okay cool.’ So everybody’s there, Quincy [Jones]…Samuel Jackson….. And we’re shooting, so it’s getting late and she’s like “Big bruh don’t forget about me, ’cause I wanna do my thing.” And I looked down and what was interesting was she had a lil’ purse…and there was some hair sticking out the purse. I said ‘What’s that?’ She said “Oh that’s my ponytail, I’mma put that in …when it’s time to get down,” LOL. I said ‘Girl go put your ponytail in! LOL.

Turns out, after DeOndra went and put her ponytail in, Jaime said she ‘killed it’ in his video. That led to Quincy Jones giving her a great opportunity…

Jones was so impressed after watching DeOndra during the video shoot, that he connected her with Global Down Syndrome foundation. DeOndra became the ambassador for the company and has gone to congress to speak about Down Syndrome. Also, she and her big brother have now raised millions of dollars for Down syndrome research through the foundation. Go ‘head DeOndra!

When it comes to social media and outspoken entertainer, Chris Brown, there’s never a dull moment. He’s recently found himself in hot water for comments he made about only wanting Black women “with nice hair” in his new song, “Need A Stack.” An online debate was immediately sparked, as many tried to understand exactly what Brown’s definition of “nice hair” was. Many who found the line problematic- due to his seemingly act of colorism- called Brown out for his insensitivity. So Brown of course clapped back, by calling his opposers ‘ugly” and “weird.” Needless to say that didn’t go over well at all, and the debate is still a hot topic on Twitter and Instagram. Well, now there’s someone coming to his aid, and that’s his mother, Joyce Hawkins. She has something to say to anyone who’s giving her son backlash over his seemingly brainwashed lyrics and his response.

Protecting Her Baby

In a post to Instagram, Hawkins appeared fed up with everyone’s anger towards her son. She decided to finally let everyone know how she felt about the situation and made it very clear she stands by him. In her post, she added this caption.

The mother of Brown’s daughter, Nia Guzman, also co-signed Hawkins’ post with a fingers-crossed emoji, which is meant to convey luck. Perhaps that was her way of saying ‘Good luck with the backlash Sis,’ because that’s exactly what came next.

Welp, Chris Brown has pissed a bunch of people off yet again. Though at this point it seems like he’s always angering someone…even as the dark cloud continues to form over his head, he’s still a very popular artist with tons of fans. They still rock out to his music and turn a blind eye to his bad behavior. But this may be one time when his fans have finally had enough, and they’re not letting him slide with his most recent disrespectful comments.

Everybody Hates Chris

Brown recently released his ninth studio album Indigo, a 32-track offering, featuring many guest stars to keep the party going. Unfortunately, the party ended early for many sistahs once they got to track number nine. The song, titled “Need A Stack,” starts off just fine….but then Brown gets a little nasty. And right after that, he just gets out of pocket. BET reports:

All goes well with the Lil Wayne and Joyner Lucas-assisted song, which boasts an up-tempo bassline and clubby vibes, up until Chris’s third verse. “Diggin’ it, then I’m lickin’ all on that p****, put it right there/ Only wanna f*** the black b**ches with the nice hair,” he rhymes.

Brown must have forgotten that the majority of his fan base are Black women, who have been riding with him for years. Through all of his legal troubles, Black women have been there. Unfortunately for Brown, what Black women are NOT here for, is disrespect of any kind. So, after hearing the colorism dipped line, they immediately took to Twitter to let Brown know they were not pleased.

There were a few who found no fault with Brown’s lyric, but the overall consensus has been ‘Nah son!’. Of course, since social media is viewable by almost everyone, Brown caught wind of the backlash and had a few words himself.

Back In Trouble

In January there was an alleged incident involving Brown, his bodyguard and a friend at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Paris. An unidentified woman claims that all three men sexually assaulted her. They were arrested afterwards, then released once evidence failed to bring a conviction. CNN reports that Brown expressed his feelings about the situation on his Instagram page.

“I wanna make it perfectly clear ….. This is false and a whole lot of CAP!,” he wrote in the all-caps message. “… For my daughter and my family this is so disrespectful and is against my character and morals!!!!”

Brown’s French attorney Raphael Chiche cosigned his statements claiming his client “vigorously protests his innocence” with plans on bringing a suit against the accuser for slander. In the time since the allegations were made Brown and his legal team were set for a formal meeting to discuss the allegations on Tuesday. However things fell apart quickly, and now the accuser’s lawyer is speaking.

On today’s episode of the Wendy Williams Show, Wendy brought up a concept that performers have grappled with whenever there are huge artists headlining a tour together– who goes last. Wendy gave her input on the sequence of the show and of course, she had a low blow but potential hard truth mixed in with her advise.

Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown announced last week that they will be touring this Summer. The R&B-hip-hop pair recently released a new single with G-Eazy, titled “Wobble Up,”. Wendy has her idea of how they should plan out the show and apparently, Breezy caught wind of the advice and didn’t like what he heard.

Wendy thinks Nicki and Brezzy should open the show together with their new single Wobble without using any opening acts. 

That isn’t such a bad idea, because no opening acts mean more money in the main acts pockets. After the first song is over she thinks the two should alternate their respective solo stage performances for their own music on each tour date in a new city.

“That way everything’s equal,” she said. “Or—they could do it this way because they’re both notorious for showing up late—so whoever shows up first opens.”

The studio audience was amused by her suggestion but Chris didn’t take keen to her calling him late— that’s not a good look for a performer to be labeled as late because who wants to wait long white at a concert for the artist to come on stage?!

]]> Chris Brown is not new to lawsuits–over the years the singer has been targeted with multiple lawsuits of various sorts. The case in point is an alleged sexual assault that occurred at his home in California in 2017.

The Backstory

The woman suing Chris Brown, remains nameless and is listed as “Jane Doe” says met one of Brown’s friends, Lowell Grissom, back in February 2017 while partying at 1 Oak nightclub in Los Angeles.

Doe and her friend ended up back at Chris Brown’s home in Los Angeles for an after-party, and claim their phones were taken away before Brown plied “cocaine, ‘Molly,’ and marijuana” on the guests.  Doe says she saw Brown and Grissom with “multiple guns in the house,” and that Brown carried one gun in his waistband and brandished it openly.

The civil lawsuit alleges sexual battery, gender violence, battery, assault, hate violence, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence.

Doe claims that the party ended up in one of the bedrooms, and that Brown instructed Grissom to “push a couch in front of the bedroom door” to prevent anyone from leaving.  She says Brown began playing pornography loudly on his television to “create a hyper-sexualized” environment before taking off his clothes and engaging in sexual activities with the women in the room.

The document say Doe and one other woman did not want to partake in the sex, and wanted to leave, but claim they were denied (The Blast)

As part of the on-going legal process, Brown agreed to let the woman suing him come and inspect his mansion.

First Suge Sued Brown For Getting Shot

Many of y’all may remember when Suge was shot 7 times back in August 2014. It happened at the popular 1 Oak Nightclub in Las Vegas, while Chris Brown was performing on stage. It was a pretty chaotic scene and Suge is lucky to be alive, because he was reportedly hit in the chest, abdomen, and left forearm. Brown was not involved in the shooting, nor was he harmed, but that didn’t stop Suge from suing him.

By June 2016, Suge, who was already in jail awaiting trial for a 2015 murder (which he says was self defense), filed a lawsuit against Brown, accusing him of being the reason he was shot.

According to TMZ, Suge called out ‘Brown in the suit … for being a “known gang associate” with a history of hosting events where violent incidents happened.’ The report also stated that Suge claimed that ever since the shooting, he had ‘major health complications…including blood clots.’ In addition to those claims, Brown blamed 1 OAK and Brown for not having what he believed was adequate security at the event, therefore allowing gunman to enter and shoot at him. Knight claims since the shooting he’s had major health complications … including a blood clot. Wow…moving on…

Chris Brown, on the other hand, was like, ‘that’s a bunch of BS’ and by October 2017, Suge mysteriously dropped his case. Word on the Old School curb, was that Brown’s attorneys sent a heated, threatening legal letter to Suge’s attorneys at that time, ‘saying Suge’s case was a certain loser and when it was thrown out Chris would counterpunch with a malicious prosecution lawsuit.’

Now They Have Joined Forces

Fast forward to now, and lo n’ behold, they have joined forces to fight the lawsuits that BOTH of them are facing over the same incident. Apparently, some other club-goers, who were in attendance during the 2014 club incident, have hit Brown and Suge with lawsuits. As they get ready to head to trial, Brown and Suge are asking the judge for a big favor, in order for them to have a fair trial:

Via The Blast: Chris Brown and Suge Knight are teaming up — in the courtroom, not the recording studio — to try and keep themselves from being labeled as “scary black men with gang-affiliations” in an upcoming trial.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the duo has asked the judge to rule their “reputation and character” be deemed inadmissible character evidence in their upcoming trial related to shooting at the club 1OAK in 2014. […] Brown and Knight were sued by multiple people in 2016 stemming from the shooting. Although no one has accused either of pulling the trigger, the plaintiffs have claimed that their respective pasts and gang affiliations led to the incident. The case is ongoing.

In this case I guess Suge applied the common sense logic of that trusty Old School saying: ‘If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.’
