Christopher Williams’ loved ones have given an update regarding his health status, and are denying the claims of his friend/singer, Al B Sure. In case you missed it, Al B announced that “Am I’m Dreamin'” crooner was currently in a coma.

Christopher’s team outright denied Al B’s coma-claim, and have instead given a statement of their own. In a new post on Christopher Williams’ Instagram page, here’s what they’ve now shared:

“Contrary to reports on social media, Christopher Williams is NOT in a coma and is in stable condition and resting comfortably. Thank you for all of your prayers and well wishes.”

In a recent Instagram post, Al B Sure shared the following photo of himself with Christoper– they’ve been friends for decades, and oftentimes refer to each other as ‘play’ cousins, or brothers. In his IG caption, Al B wrote, “Please pray for my better looking twin brother in a coma.”

Stacey Dash, who was once adored for her acting roles in films such as Clueless and Moving (starring Richard Pryor), has now become one of the most disliked celebs in our recent history. As you already know, that transition began after she began to revive her career in 2008, by making a few headlines with her undying support for then-presidential candidate, Mitt Romney (as well as Donald Trump some years later)…while screaming her undying dislike for just about everything then-President Obama stood for (and still stands for)…you know, things like equality, human rights, equal healthcare for all people, etc..

As a result, she became so well-liked by Obama haters, that it ultimately landed her a gig as a personality on Fox News, which is one of the most – if not the most – fitting outlets for her to express the views that she has. She was eventually fired from Foxx though.

Anywho, throughout all of the controversial hype Stacey Dash has oftentimes stirred up in the entertainment world, we almost forgot that she has a child with singer and actor, Christopher Williams, who is best known for his hits, “I’m Dreaming” and “Promises, Promises;” and also for his role on New jack City.

Remember he and Stacey dated back in the ’80s? Then she went on TV shortly after, and blasted him for being a ‘dead beat dad.’

Well, that was a long time ago, and we’re not sure if her allegations are true…but what is definitely true is that their son, 29 year old Austin Williams, is an aspiring model and he’s popped up on many runways. You can see some of his photos below and tell us if you think he looks like his Pops.

It’s unclear if Austin Williams inherited the musical skills of his Pops and Great-Aunt Ella, but one thing’s for sure — talent runs deep in his DNA.

Why Christopher Williams Is Reportedly Wanted Now

There’s good news and bad news about this. We’ll start with the good first: Good news is that although this is said to be his second legal issue for theft in 6 months, it stems from just ONE theft case (and not two, thank goodness). Bad news is that he’s reportedly officially a wanted man in the case, after what has just transpired.

Reports have just surfaced that the “Am I Dreaming” singer was a no-show in his petty theft court case last week. Therefore, a judge has reportedly issued a bench warrant for Williams’ arrest. It’s being said that he won’t have to worry about bounty hunters coming to sniff him out -like they did ex “Family Matters”/Disney star, Orlando Brown, a few days ago- HOWEVER, Christopher better pray that he does NOT get stopped by cops…ever. If he does, he will be hauled off to jail with the quickness, according to reports.

Williams’ Prior Arrest Details

So what does all this legal trouble stem from, you ask? It’s from the case Christopher Williams caught 6 months ago, in October 2017, when he allegedly stole a pair of headphones out of a Kohl’s store. Yep, you read that right and I truly wish this was one of my random jokes, but it’s not folks. Dude was really arrested for stealing $99.99 headphones unfortunately. Here’s what we previously reported on that:

Via TMZ: Sources tell us the incident went down Saturday at a Kohl’s in McDonough, Georgia where Chris walked in with a tote bag and wearing a baseball cap. We’re told he went to the back of the store and grabbed a pair of JBL headphones … priced at $99.99. We’re told he threw the headphones into his bag and tried walking out. When security stopped him, we’re told Chris said he simply forgot he bagged them. By then, cops were called and arrested him. The “I’m Dreamin'” singer was arrested and booked for petty theft, a misdemeanor. He was released after a couple hours.

Christopher Williams Clapped Back At Media

Following the massive coverage of his petty theft charges, C. Williams clapped back at all media outlets that reported the news, I assume that includes ILOSM as well. Also, anyone else who shared the info on social media, y’all can probably get it too, according to Williams…I think.

In his Instagram clap-back, Williams never denied the theft incident happened. He did however, specifically seem to target TMZ, by referring to them as “TMFlea” (probably because they broke the story). He also took aim at the many reports about the details of his arrest being circulated on social media, radio, and television:

Thought He Moved On With These Women…Guess Not

Then came the news that Nick, on the other hand, was the one who had moved on, when news spread that he was expecting a new baby boy with his ‘friend’/ex beauty pageant contestant, Brittany Bell. At that time, Nick made it clear that he and Brittany were not together, but he vowed to be 100% active in their son’s life, just as he is in the lives of his 6 year old twins with Mariah. He’s stayed true to his word by the way.

Throughout the course of Brittany’s pregnancy (and prior to), there were rumors that Nick and Chilli (of TLC) were chillin’ together for a minute. There were also rumors that he and model, Lanisha Cole, were dating, which Nick never denied. BUT apparently throughout al of the flings and things, Nick STILL ain’t over Mariah! Nick has just released a new music video dedicated to Mariah and he’s enlisted the help R&B legend, Christopher Williams’ song, “I’m Dreamin’,” to get his point across to her. Although the video is corny in my opinion, it’s still cool that Nick ain’t afraid to display his Keith Sweat begging skills to the masses. He even shouts “I ain’t over my ex,” in the video, in reference to Mariah.

In the video he casted dogs- as in real dogs- to portray people, including himself (he’s the black dog wearing the turban), Mariah (she’s the wearing diamonds, with her white fur blowing in the wind) and rappers, The Migos (they’re the puppies with the locs). In addition to using the “I’m Dreamin'” sample, Nick also got the help of singer, Jeremih, on the hook. Check it out below…

Like I said, although the C. Williams sample is nice, the video is corny as hell, but the message is in the lyrics. We All Make Mistakes

Listen, although Christopher Williams’ JBL headphones arrest is a bit surprising, the bottom line is that we ALL make mistakes and/or bad decisions at some point in our lives. None of us are perfect and that goes for celebrities as well…

Therefore, for Williams the brighter side of things is that his arrest is just for a petty theft crime and not a hardcore felony. He’ll pay his fine and/or do his time, or community service, etc.. Then he’ll bounce back with an even bigger redemption story to share and more human-like qualities that’ll make him more relatable to his fans the next time he steps on stage.

Like we always say, here at ILOSM, celebrities have accomplished a high level of greatness, but that doesn’t make them flawless. They are simply perfectly flawed human beings, just like the rest of us.

On Saturday, August 30th, the brotha was booked for a petty theft, after committing one of the pettiest crimes ever- stealing a pair of expensive headphones. Yep, you read that right, but there’s more. The 50 year old R&B crooner reportedly claimed forgetfulness was the cause of his crime. See the details of what went down:

Listen, I get it, JBL headphones are one of the best quality headphones on the market…one that many recording artists prefer. So it’s understandable why Williams wanted those bad boys. The question is did he really forget he slipped them into his bag and tried to slide outta the door with them? That’ll be up to the judge to determine.

Did you know that Christopher Williams is a dad? In 1988, Williams had a son, Justin, who was born from a relationship with a stylist. It may surprise many, but he was also once in a relationship with actress, Stacey Dash. From their relationship, they had a son, Austin, who was born in 1991. Not many of Williams’ relationships are public. From what we do know, Williams was in a relationship with Barnes after his relationship with Dash dissolved. Barnes currently resides in Atlanta, where she works as an art director. Word on the Old School curb is it that Christopher Williams is currently married to Natalie Macklin- both of whom were briefly featured on Real Housewives of Atlanta. However, there is no legal documentation that Williams and Macklin actually jumped the broom together.

Williams’ most notable relationship was with actress, Halle Berry. In the late ’80s or early ’90s, Christopher Williams was the boyfriend of the Oscar-winning actress. After Halle told interviewers that an abusive ex-boyfriend struck her so hard that she lost most of the hearing in her right ear, many people assumed that Williams was the unnamed ex-boyfriend. However, Halle wasn’t speaking of Christopher Williams, it was another man- whom many believe was also a well known actor. Despite the fact that Halle never stated Christopher’s name, he was reportedly still blackballed at one point in his career, after many people deemed him to be ‘the abuser.’
