As reported by NYMag, Kim’s decision to never have kids was simple- coming from a large family of nine other siblings (totaling 10 Wayans kids), living in their two parent household, she simply never wanted any of her own. However, here’s how she gets her kiddie time in:

‘Kim, who’s been married…to actor Kevin Knotts, doesn’t have kids herself. “I’m Auntie Mame,” she says. “I think it’s because I come from a huge family that I don’t feel the need. I’ve always had kids to love and to coddle. When I get tired of them, I take them back home.”’

In case you haven’t seen the In Living Color reunion video yet, we have it right here for your full enjoyment. During the Tribeca Film Festival, the cast rejoined for a night.

In a previous ILOSM article, we discussed the In Living Color cast‘s feelings regarding the pending 25-year reunion. And now, it has happened. In a night of smiles, laughter, and nostalgia, some of the cast for the show made a lasting appearance at the festival tribute.

According to Comedy Hype, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Kim Wayans, Shawn Wayans, David Alan Grier, and Tommy Davidson even participated in an interview, after the showing of In Living Color‘s first episode.

Keenen mentions that he and Robert Townsend were good friends in the show’s beginning. During the first minutes of his interview, Wayans says that — although they were known for their standup — they were better at writing sketches.

Tommy Davidson, widely known for his pioneering roles on In Living Color, participated in an interview while sharing life stories. During one of his reflections, he mentioned a short fact which caught Sway by total surprise.

“…Diddy was my assistant…”

That’s a huge statement. That’s putting a lot on it, one could say. However, Tommy Davidson said it and went on to elaborate how it came to be.

According to Tommy, Diddy is responsible for what’s going on now…”the mogulism.” But at Sean Combs’ beginning, as an intern, he was learning from Andre Harrell — founder of Uptown Records and once-CEO of Motown Records — as well as learning from Russell Simmons.

According to Huffington Post, the 18^th annual Tribeca Film Festival is happening in the coming month, in New York City. The source says it’ll feature a screening of the pilot episode In Living Color.

Reportedly, the festival will take place from April 24 to May 5. Accordingly, for the first time, the festival will celebrate anniversaries and milestones of iconic television shows as part of its Tribeca TV program.

Can you believe In Living Color‘s final episode aired in 1994??

According to a press release from the festival, the In Living Color pilot will be screened in a theater on April 27, followed by a conversation with members of the cast.

Jim Carrey’s Tribute That Caused An Online Ruckus

When our beloved Aretha passed away on August 16th from pancreatic cancer, Jim Carrey, quickly picked up his paint and easel to show her love and celebrate her legacy in his own way. Unbeknownst to many, Jim has broadened his artistic horizons since his “In Living Color” days. He’s also now a talented, self-taught painting artist, who specializes in his signature caricature style of paintings. Jim has admitted, in the past, that drawing is very therapeutic for him and gives him an opportunity to paint the world as he sees it through his eyes.

His artistic style did not change when it came time for him to whip up a portrait of Aretha, but that’s why many were giving the comedic actor the side eye. On the same day of Aretha’s passing, Jim Carrey took to Twitter to display the artistic piece he’d drawn in her honor. It was a caricature-like image of Aretha and it was pretty creative. However, there was one problem that had many folks scratching their heads- apparently in Jim’s mind, Aretha’s complexion falls somewhere between his and Halle Berry’s, as opposed to the queen’s actual caramel hue. Fans Let Jim Carrey Have It

Like I said, Jim didn’t seem to mean any harm by his brown-paint-deprived-Aretha-painting, it just seems that his view is distorted somehow, or another. When it came to Re-Re’s loyal fans though, if there’s one thing they demand, it’s that Aretha gets all of the R-E-S-P-E-C-T she deserves. So, the last thing they’d want Carrey to do, is attempt to “white-wash” her, as one fan put it. See some of the comments and confusion fans displayed on Twitter below…

Most of us may not know actress, T’Keyah Crystal Keymáh, by name, but we definitely know her face. She first made her mark in the entertainment game when she had us crackin’ up from her characters on “In Living Color” (1990 to 1994).

She then starred ABC’s “On Own Own,” (which starred the entire popular Smollett family, including Jussie from “Empire” and Jurnee Smollett from “Underground” as well as their siblings). Soon after that, T’Keyah went on to star in Fox’s “The Show,” and Damon Wayans’ animated “Waynehead” for Warner Brothers. Her work also included her role as Bill Cosby’s daughter, “Erica” on CBS’ “Cosby” sitcom (1996- 2000; based on the British show, “One Foot in the Grave”); and then as Raven Symone’s mother in Disney’s “That’s So Raven” (2003- 2005). The acting legend was off the scene for a minute, but she’s now resurfaced, looking just as beautiful as ever and also with a new job title.

Via Undefeated- In early August [2017], Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) announced that Keymah will become the university’s first W.K. Kellogg Foundation artist-in-residence in the College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities theater program.

“Me being here at FAM was a dream of mine, and I am very excited,” Keymah said. “One of the administrators said, ‘You just seem so happy,’ and I said, ‘Oh, you have no idea. I am so happy.’ She said, ‘I have to take a picture of you smiling before the students get here.’ They’re making such a fuss over it…and it made me think, a lot of working actors went to HBCUs. I’m really hoping that some of my compatriots will join me…they need us to return. They need us to return with our expertise and with our favor.”

According to TMZ, she left behind a suicide note that mentions her September 24th breakup with Carrey and on that same day, she wrote this on Twitter: “Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest.”

Last night White was found dead in her home by two of her friends. Los Angeles police say it appears that she intentionally overdosed on prescription pills.

Carrey and White dated on and off ever since 2012, and according to Gossip Cop, this is the statement Carrey released about his girlfriend:
“I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona. She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt.”

In the weeks prior to Cathriona’s last tweet on September 24th, she wrote a couple of eerily worded phrases on her social media accounts. On September 23rd, her tweet was a W.B. Yeats. quote that said, “Faeries, come take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind.” Just two weeks prior to that, she posted a meme on her Instagram page that said, “I sometimes smile and act like nothing is wrong. It’s call dealing with sh*t and staying strong.”

Jim Carrey’s last tweet was on September 16th when he posted a photo of himself and cited Cathriona White as the person who snapped the photo.

White’s suicide happened so soon after she and Carrey’s breakup, that it seems like that could have possibly had something to do with her pain, although that hasn’t yet been confirmed. We offer our deepest condolences to Cathriona’s family and Jim Carrey during this difficult time. May Cathriona rest peacefully.
