A while back we shared photos of Ron Isley’s now 11 year old son and many were surprised that the 77 year old music legend has a child who’s young enough to be his great-grandbaby. Well, that shouldn’t have been much of a surprise, given that he has a lovely  wife who’s young enough to be his daughter.

As we previously reported, Ron Isley married his then 28 year old bride/backup singer, Kandy Johnson-Isley (now 42), when he was 64. The year was 2005, when Mr. and Mrs. Isley recited their vows to each other in a fairytale style wedding.

Little did anyone know, the following year, in September 2006, Ron would be sentenced to 3 years in federal prison for tax evasion. To make matters worse was the timing of it all- Kandi Isley was very pregnant with their son at the time of her husband’s sentencing.

Though many fans thought they wouldn’t last due to their 36 year age difference, they’re still together through the ups, and downs…and most importantly, they are forever grateful for their son. Fast forward to today, and Mrs. Isley has recently confessed her saddened, yet proud mommy moments about their son, who is now in 6th grade.

In the latest episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” NeNe Leakes went berserk on her cast-mates Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams, including a cameraman.

The Wig Party

Apparently, NeNe invited her cast-mates to her home for a wig party, just a day after her husband Gregg was hospitalized for a blood clot in his leg.

NeNe seemed to be enjoying herself until Kandi asked to see her closet. The Celebrity Big Brother star and former member of Xscape stated that NeNe would always ask her to see her fabulous closet.

Now that Kandi was at NeNe’s home, she wanted to have a look and so did Porsha.

NeNe told Kandi and Porsha not to go in her closet because she said “her closet was not together,” but Kandi didn’t think she was serious.

Therefore, Porsha and Kandi went into NeNe’s closet.

She Went Into A Rage

As soon as a cameraman was about to go into NeNe’s closet, she went into a rage. According to Kandi, Nene started “ripping the crew’s shirts and pushing people.”

In a sit-down interview on Sunday night’s episode of  “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” NeNe explains why she got so upset.

NeNe Defends Her Actions

Many are claiming that NeNe overacted, but she doesn’t see it that way.

The 51-year-old stated that if she invites someone to her home, it doesn’t give them the right to go through her belongings.

She told Andy that she felt disrespected when Kandi and Porsha went into her closet.

“The one thing these girls [“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast members] have, is that they are disrespecting each other’s home when they visit them.” NeNe said.

“Sheree’s house was disrespected, Kenya’s house was disrespected. When you come to my house, you’re not going to disrespect my home.”

NeNe may have invited her cast mates to her home, but she claims Porsha and Kandi were not initially invited on the second floor of her home.

“They Just went upstairs on their own,” said NeNe, who claims that they were in the wrong.

Before NeNe explained why she went off on Porsha, Kandi, and a cameraman, Andy asked the audience to take a poll to see whose side they were on.

When he told NeNe that 81 percent of the audience was on Kandi and Porsha’s side, she said: “ I don’t give a d*** about whose side they’re on. I don’t give a d*** about this poll.”

“How are you going to be on their side? They didn’t have the right to go in my house and do whatever they wanted to do,” she added. “Until you pay my mortgage, you are wrong!”

Kandi and Kim have had on-and-off tension  ever since Kim stuck Kandi for her paper years ago, after Kandi wrote Kim’s only semi-hit single, “Don’t Be Tardy For The Party.” Gotta give it to the Xscape singer on that one by the way, she most definitely worked miracles with Zolciak-Biermann’s voice struggles, just sayin.’ Anyways, both ladies are never one to back down from confrontation, even though their personalities are totally different: Kandi Burruss is laid back, but once somebody tries her, homegirl will go for the jugular; Kim is feisty and oftentimes has no filter, which is seemingly why several of the RHOA ladies have a prob’ with her. I guess after all this drama, Kim Zolciak-Bierman may have landed herself a more permanent spot -behind Kandi’s of course- for RHOA’s next season. Only time will tell.

Since Xscape appeared on Watch What Happens Live last Sunday, fans everywhere have been giving them the side eye. Initially, the idea of a reunion seemed like a good idea, but now fans aren’t so sure they’ve made the right decision. If you watched the show last Sunday, you probably couldn’t overlook the awkwardness even if you tried. In fact, the Xscape’s appearance was so awkward, Tamika Scott decided to address the elephant in the room. In an effort to do damage control, Tamika made light of all the shade thrown on the show. But Kandi has a totally different perspective on the situation.

Not What She Signed Up For:

According to People magazine, Kandi is making it clear that this is not what she signed up for. During an interview with the publication, she set the record straight about the reunion. Kandi claims she was solely focused on stopping the production of an unauthorized biopic about the group and was interesting in working with the ladies to make sure their story was told the right way. “It wasn’t a planned reunion,” Kandi told People magazine earlier this week. “What happened was a network was going to do an unauthorized movie about us, and of course I’m not going to let somebody just take my legacy. So I called my group members and we were all able to have a conversation to start trying to get our story told the right way.”

Somewhere in the midst of all the drama surrounding the unauthorized movie, the other ladies decided they wanted to reunite. However, Kandi claims she was never onboard. In fact, she admits that there’s still tension between her, Tamika Scott, her sister LaTocha, and surprisingly, Tameka “Tiny” Harris. Kandi insists many of their problems center around their differences in opinions when it comes to business. “It’s always drama,” Kandi admitted. “We all think differently when it comes to handling business, or at least, the three of them think differently than me. It’s always them three against me, and I feel like I’m always made to be the villain. It’s really irritating and stressful.”

But despite the drama with the ladies, Kandi did make an effort to participate for the fans. She admitted she hadn’t realized how much people really love Xscape. “The first three shows we did in the summer were all sold out, and now we’re about to go on tour and the tickets are selling like crazy,” she says. “I didn’t even realize how much people did love us as a group, which is a great thing. If nothing else, I am enjoying this time because of the fans.”

Although Kandi won’t be recording new music with the ladies, you can still catch her on their Bravo reality series Still Kickin It, which airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Jamie Foxx recently explained what he did to help pop superstar, Ed Sheeran, before he became the multimillionaire, multi-million selling artist he is today.

Who Is Ed Sheeran?

Before we get into what Jamie did exactly, many of us Old Schoolers may be saying to ourselves, ‘Ed who?’…so let us first explain who he is. He’s the cat who’s been heating up the pop music charts lately. He’s also the guy who Xscape’s Kandi Burruss, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, and their then songwriting partner, She’kspere Briggs, just got paid off of.

As we previously reported, there was recently an online outcry by fans who accused Ed of jackin’ the music of the Tiny-Kandi-She’kspere-penned TLC song, “No Scrubs,” for his hit song, “Shape of You.” After the outcry, music publishing company, ASCAP, added their three names to Sheeran’s song. That’s all water under the bridge now and as far as we know, there’s no bad blood between Sheeran and the songwriting trio. Jamie Foxx On What He Did For Sheeran

During his interview on The Graham Norton Show, Jamie revealed that he’d come across Ed Sheeran at an event in L.A., when Ed was just a struggling artist trying to get on. Ed asked Jamie to listen to his music, Jamie did so and was impressed by what he’d heard. So impressed, that he opened up his home to Ed for six weeks, because he knew that British bred singer had no place to stay in L.A. and little money:

“So he [Ed Sheeran] plays and I was like, you’re incredible,” Jamie explained. “I said listen, I know you don’t have anywhere to go just chill here.”

During his stay at Jamie’s, Fox said he put Ed to the ultimate test. He took him to perform at an event made up of 800 African American people in the audience, who were all staring at Ed as if he’d gotten lost on his way to someplace else. You Never Win When U Play Dirty:

This past season of Real Housewives of Atlanta generated lots of conversation around the water cooler. Most of the conversation focused on the crazy rumors that were centered around Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star, Kandi Burruss-Tuckers. Rumors were flying that she was a lesbian with a sex dungeon. Her husband, Todd, allegedly also goes by the alias of Marvin when he’s out of town. Lastly, the most horrific rumor of all that was spread was one of Kandi and Todd allegedly wanting to drug Porsha in order to take her back to the dungeon to engage in a threesome.

Well, the last segment of the 4 part special revealed that Phaedra Parks was the person who started the vicious rumors about the Tuckers. While Parks tried to deny that she started the rumors, her friend Porsha Williams remained steadfast that she did. Despite the fact that Phaedra claims that she was just repeating what she heard, she could be facing some serious allegations from simply spreading gossip. Kandi recently made an appearance on V-103’s Ryan Cameron Morning Show With Wanda Smith and candidly spoke about possibly pursuing a lawsuit against Phaedra.

Yeah, I have thought about it, Kandi said on the Ryan Cameron show. I have to talk to my attorneys and see how they feel I should handle the situation. They told me I should sue Porsha at first [but] when it came out at the reunion that Porsha got the information from Phaedra, I said let’s hold up until they see the whole thing and I’ll get their opinion on how I should handle it. Another thing, lawsuits are stressful. I’m already dealing with this lawsuit with Johnny.

It was no secret that Kandi and Phaedra were no longer friends. However, even Kandi was surprised that Phaedra would stoop that low. Kandi also spoke on the reunion and how she felt after the bombshell was revealed.

My eyes were tearing up while watching it, I just couldn’t believe that she would go that far I knew we weren’t cool anymore, but for her to make something up and say it to the girls and say it on national TV like that — like come on, I know we throw shade at each other, but this is a whole new low, she said. You can’t just do that. […] OK, you wanna tear down my businesses, you’re trying to come at me in a way where people won’t respect me anymore. Clearly they was just trying to say whatever to take me down.

Not only did Phaedra lose a friendship with Kandi and possibly her beloved “Frack” Porsha, she also lost her peach. As we previously reported, after Phaedra Parks made the unsubstantiated claims about Kandi, she was stripped of her position as a housewife on the program.

Unfortunately Kandi Burruss-Harris, LaTocha Scott, Tomeka Scott and Tameka “Tiny” Harris, are already being hit with drama. However, the great thing is that this time, the drama is NOT among the group members, it is in regards to the great and not-so-great news about their upcoming biopics. We’ll explain below…

Good news:

Xscape along with Mona-Scott Young (who is the executive producer of reality shows such as the Love & Hip Hop franchise, Leave It To Stevie, and more)  are currently shopping around their authorized biopic to major networks as we speak. They are also reportedly doing a docu-follow, which according to Deadline, ‘would give an inside look at the group’s reunion.’ This is great and we can’t wait to see them tell their story. Now on to the not-so-great news…

Bad news:

Deadline also reported that a second unauthorized Xscape biopic has already been added to TV One’s 2017-2018 slated television schedule and Xscape apparently has a major problem with that. The group even went as far as to call the TV One biopic “disrespectful.”

Xscape’s Statement

This news forced Xscape to release a two-sided statement addressing both their joy and anger over the biopics:

Xscape: “We are excited to join forces with Mona Scott-Young and Monami Entertainment to bring the real Xscape story to the world. This partnership will allow us to tell our story about our lives the way we lived it. It’s our truth about the rise, the fall, and the return of Xscape. We feel the recent announcement of an unauthorized biopic on our lives is disrespectful and disappointing. We are not, in any way, participating in that project and it will never ‘represent’ our true story.”

Mona Scott-Young also made it clear where her company, Monami Ent. stand on this matter as well:

“Xscape has had a huge impact on music and are one of the most successful female groups of all time,” Mona stated. “Monami Entertainment is honored to be charged with bringing the authorized Xscape story to the world.”

Not sure how we, the fans, should fell about this, but I guess two Xscape biopics should at least be interesting to watch. Will you be tuning in ILOSM fam?’

FYI: Don’t be alarmed by Tiny’s absence – she didn’t quit the group again already- Kandi informed everyone that Tiny had to catch a flight, so she missed this jam session, but the remaining three still gave us chills nonetheless.
