In a strange twist of events, Bobbi Kristina’s close friend met a similar fate on August 15, 2018. A friend became concerned after he didn’t return from a bathroom trip, only to find a “worst case scenario” in full effect.

According to TMZ, Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s friend — Max Lomas, who found her near death, inside a bathtub in 2015 — has come upon, essentially, the same fate.

The source reports Max Lomas was found unresponsive, due to an apparent drug overdose. TMZ mentions law enforcement in Mississippi told the source Max was at a friend’s home on August 15.

Lomas eventually went to use the bathroom. However, he reportedly didn’t come right back, and his friend became concerned. Max’s friend allegedly went to check on him and found Lomas unresponsive on the bathroom’s floor.

A syringe was also found near his body, the source states.

According to Page Six, Max Lomas was then rushed to a local hospital. However, he subsequently died after succumbing to the effects of the overdose.

HOW LOMAS TIES INTO BOBBI’S STORY

TMZ reports that Max was actually suspected of being Bobbi Kristina’s drug dealer when she was alive.

The source states he was nevertheless a close friend of the star and was at Bobbi’s home in the hours leading up to her overdose. As aforementioned, Max was the one to find Bobbi unresponsive in a bathtub. He and Brown’s then-boyfriend, Nick Gordon, called paramedics to the scene.

However, doctors were unable to revive her; so, physicians placed her in a medically induced coma in attempts for her body to heal and recover.

She remained on life support for a while; but after some time, her family made the decision to put her on hospice. Shortly thereafter, Bobbi Kristina passed away.

The source mentions that Max Lomas wasn’t found responsible for her death. Instead, in September 2016, a judge found Bobbi’s boyfriend ‘legally responsible’ for her death.

Accordingly, Gordon was ordered to pay $35 million in the lawsuit against Kristina’s family. It’s the family, who alleged that Nick drugged her. To this day, Bobby blames Nick and mourns his daughter’s loss.

People Magazine reports that Max Lomas lived off and on with Bobbi Kristina during her latter years. Interestingly enough, he and Kristina reportedly used to date. According to him, Whitney Houston actually took him in as a troubled teen. Yet, while living there, Lomas and Bobbi Kristina were “romantically in love,” as reports People. “[Whitney] loved that we were dating and always wanted me to protect Krissy,” Kristina’s friend mentioned.

But there really wasn’t much “protecting” happening. In the same interview with the source, he stated: “We were all pretty bad into drugs.”

Unfortunately, Max also stated that weeks before Bobbi’s incident, they had all made a pact to get off drugs. People reports his quote as follows:

“We all decided that we were going to get off drugs, live healthier lifestyles. We all went to the gym together. But it didn’t work out. We started using again.”

Tragically, as it costed Brown her life, Max Lomas met a similarly eerie end.

All in all, this is extremely sad no matter how we look at it. Clearly, those young people both had some serious inner battles they were dealing with that needed to be addressed long before both of their passings.

Hostile Police Video

Weeks after Laura claimed she had not been beaten by Nick after all, but that she’d had “chapped lips,” instead of a busted one and “bipolar disorder”- police body camera footage has just surfaced showing otherwise.

In March 2018, the cops showed up to Nick’s home to investigate what Nick claimed was him being beaten by his petite girlfriend. When the cops arrived, their body cameras were activated and recorded the frantic aftermath, showing Nick seemingly attempting to cry on cue, Laura claiming he beat the daylights outta her, and Nick denying all of it. Nick also was heard telling the cops he is a “famous person” and the boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina. To put the cherry on top, according to TMZ, the video also shows Laura telling the cops that Nick was suicidal and ‘wanted her to crash the car [they were in] so he could, “be with his angels,” Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina. That seemed to upset Laura as well…and again, Nick shot back with several claims against Laura of his own. Check out this fiasco below…

The Plot Twist

Clearly, after watching the video footage, a violent incident went down between the lovebirds. But, that’s neither here nor there now, because as we previously reported, there was a plot twist in this saga.

A few days ago, Nick Gordon learned that he will NOT be facing criminal charges for reportedly brutally beating Laura for the second time in less than a year. How could that be, you ask? Apparently it had everything to do with Laura flip floppin’ her story at the last minute. Here’s what was just reported:

At this point, the healthiest option for both of them, is to just walk away while they still can. Besides, Nick has bigger issues to be concerned about, including the fact that he’s still facing probation violation charges for disobeying the judge’s ruling to stay away from Laura (who has since gone back to his home and begged the judge to let him off the hook). In addition to that, Nick is still a ‘person of interest’ in the criminal case surrounding Bobbi Kristina’s death. What made the call even more Oscar worthy, is that Nick allowed, what appeared to be, his true intentions of the call surface- that he knew he was wrong, but had to think of something quick to avoid jail time, like he did the last time he reportedly beat Laura. That was evident by him repeatedly stating to the dispatcher, that Laura has ‘called the cops’ on him before. Shouldn’t that be totally irrelevant when one is supposedly in the midst of getting brutalized and fearing for their life? At any rate, as Nick was crying profusely during the 911 call, he then said Laura hit him with a bottle. Once cops arrived, they found a whole ‘notha scenario though, which ultimately backfired on Nick.

According to TMZ, Laura said:

…She picked up Gordon from a bar and that while driving back he allegedly struck her in the right side of her face several times. She also says in the report that he pulled her hair and told her he should make her crash her car. Once home, she claims they got into another verbal altercation. The arresting officer says he saw visible marks on the GF, and placed Gordon under arrest even though the woman refused to press charges.

The judge ordered Nick and Laura to follow a strict ‘no contact’ order until further notice, then this happened…

Laura yet again backed down and did a switch-a-roo with her story. Following the judge’s ‘no-contact’ order, she begged the court to let Nick off the hook, by dropping the charges. She then refused to testify and changed her story from victim to aggressor, stating her busted lip (which was reported in the police report) wasn’t busted, but rather “chapped and dry.” She then claimed their fight was her fault because she’s “bipolar.”

Bobby Brown reached out to offer help Laura with leaving her volatile relationship with his daughter’s ex, Nick. As far as we know, Laura never responded.

That would be none other than Nick Gordon – the reportedly abusive former boyfriend of Whitney’s and Bobby’s late daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown – and his current girlfriend, Laura Leal. After he was arrested a couple days ago for allegedly beating his girlfriend, now she’s turned the tables and she’s taking the blame for the situation. Then, to make matters worse, she’s even begged a judge to let him off the hook…again.

Beggin’ and Pleadin’:

All this drama with Nick and Laura has everybody thinkin’ the same thing: WTH?!! After Nick’s creepy, sinister mugshot – with his newly snatched eyebrows – went viral on social media, people immediately thought Nick looked like the devil himself… or at least “Uncle Scar” from The Lion King.

However, his mugshot was a total 360 from the crying guy on the 911 call. Although police cited that Laura did have visible bruises, Nick’s call made it seem as though he was the one dodgin’ punches. So in a nutshell, it looks like Nick may have thrown a few punches but Laura definitely didn’t go down without a fight. Since she threw a few licks, she reportedly begged the judge to free her man. But that’s not all.

According to The Blast, Laura Leal has even begged the judge to drop their “no contact” order. “I would like to kindly ask you to lift the no-contact order that was placed against Nicholas Gordon and I,” she wrote. “I am not in any kind of fear or danger being around him and would like to be able to contact him as soon as possible.”

Nick’s seemingly love-blinded girlfriend also claims her lip wasn’t busted, just “chapped and dry.” Ummm….yeah. Then, she shifted the blame entirely, taking full responsibility for the incident, citing her previously undisclosed medical condition. “I suffer from severe anger issues in which Nick has been an incredible support to get my act together,” she wrote. “I am seeking help and determined to take the condition seriously as I have been diagnosed bipolar. He is not at blame, and should not be pushed into any trouble or consequences due to my actions.”

With this being the second time they’ve had to call the cops for a domestic incident, this may not be the best idea, but they say ‘love is blind’…and like Eve once rapped, “it’ll take over your mind.”

A Free Man…But His Troubles Ain’t Over:

As of March 12, Nick Gordon posted a $500 bond and was released out of jail. But despite Laura’s attempt to do damage control, the arrest report tells a completely different story. According to US Weekly, Laura claims she’d been hit in the face multiple times after they got into an argument, while driving home from a bar in Sanford, CA. Police officers also noted that her lip was visibly swollen with dried blood. This probably explains the injuries to her lip, but nevertheless, she still insists they were just “chapped.”

Bobby Brown’s Helping Hand:

The latest news follows Bobby Brown’s heartfelt attempt to lend a hand to Nick’s seemingly confused and psychologically broken girlfriend. “Domestic violence killed my daughter, and on March 4, 2018, the Bobbi Kristina Brown Serenity House held our first event to strike back at domestic violence. I personally would like to extend my hand to Ms. Leal and offer her services through our organization,” the New Edition star said, referring to the nonprofit founded after Bobbi Kristina’s 2015 death. “I do not want to see any more families destroyed at the hands of domestic violence and I do not want any more women to suffer like my daughter did. We are here to assist and we hope to hear from Ms. Leal.”

Since she was the one beggin’ and pleadin’ for a judge to let Nick out, it doesn’t look like she’s willing to take help from anyone at this point.

Investigators Find New Hope For Bobbi’s Case?:

Despite gettin’ out of jail, Nick just keeps ending up on the wrong side of the law for allegedly puttin’ his hands on women. So, it’s probably safe to say this won’t be his last time getting into trouble, although we do hope that it is and he ultimately gets whatever help and/or ramifications he needs. To Bobby Brown, it may seem like Nick has managed to escape the law where Bobbi Kristina’s death is concerned, but Georgia investigators aren’t ready to just let Nick off the hook. Since Nick has been arrested for domestic violence twice in the past year, investigators are seeing a pattern of abuse that they didn’t previously have in order to establish a case against him before.

According to New York Daily News, Georgia investigators have expressed interest in Nick’s recent domestic ‘boxing matches’ with his girlfriend. It has now been reported that Georgia investigators have confirmed that they are aware of Nick’s arrests and the investigation into Bobbi Kristina’s death is not a closed case. In fact, the investigation is still ongoing. Although Nick claims he’s the victim where Leal is concerned, Georgia investigators aren’t ready to look the other way just yet. So, there’s actually still a chance the Brown and Houston families could see Nick going to jail.

But for now, it’s all a waiting game, as investigators work to build a solid case. With all that’s happened between Nick and Laura it’s probably safe to assume this won’t be the last time they have a big argument. But hopefully they’ll soon decide to end their toxic relationship.

Via TMZ: According to the arrest report, obtained by TMZ, Gordon told cops his girlfriend refused to leave his residence after throwing a bottle at him and ripping his shirt. He claims she attacked him for no reason, and that she was “crazy.”

Now, what’s equally as sad is that his girlfriend decided not to press charges on the whom she and officers say clearly beat her. This isn’t the first time Laura Leal has protected Nick, following a brutal fight between them. Many of y’all may recall when Nick was arrested in June 2017, after Laura called the cops on him. At that time, she said she feared she’d ‘end up like Bobbi Kristina.’

How Nick’s Girlfriend Protected Him After Prior Violent Altercation

Her past incident was not enough of a life lesson for Laura Leal apparently, because months after their 2017 fight, she and Nick both did a very odd interview, in which he blamed her and she defended him:

I have my own anger issues and the best friend that I have by my side is Nicholas Gordon. … “I honestly feared that I had a concussion.” But when asked how she got the concussion, she stalled and outwardly questioned Nick, “Am I saying too much?….Uh…I fell.”

Since then, Bobby Brown -who recently admitted that he wants Nick ‘locked up and raped’ for the death of his daughter, Bobbi Kristina- reached out to Laura to try to help her get out of that volatile relationship:

News has just surfaced that the troubled 28 year old is still sitting in a Florida jail following some sort of violent dispute. Here are the most recent details:

(Via TMZ) Gordon was arrested by cops in Seminole, Florida for an incident referred to as “battery-touch or strike.” It is listed as a domestic violence case. He bonded out after posting $500, but has not been released as of yet.

Lo and behold, by October 2017, Laura and Nick reappeared as some sort of happy couple for their new DailyMail interview. It was a very odd, and at one point, Nick’s publicist shouted repeatedly to Nick, telling him not to answer a certain question about the abuse, as Nick ignored him. Nick then spoke to try clear his name, saying that Laura was not in danger during the time he brutally beat her down.

Laura was then asked about their fight and why she dropped charges. At first she looked at Nick for approval to speak on it, then she went above and beyond to prove how much SHE is to blame for him beating her…

During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Bobby Brown shared his brutally honest opinion of Nick and how he hopes karma finds its way to Nick’s doorstep. In 2017, Nick Gordon was ordered to pay Bobbi Kristina’s estate $36million (which he clearly doesn’t have), after being found liable for Bobbi’s death in a wrongful death civil  lawsuit the estate filed. In the interview, Bobby was asked if he felt justice had been served in connection with his daughter’s death. Bobby made it clear he doesn’t feel justice has been served at all:

“Justice? If he [Nick Gordon] was locked up somewhere, where somebody can rape him. That’s just how I feel. He raped me by taking my daughter away.” He continued, “Domestic violence is just the worst s**t in the world… We started the Serenity House because women will go through it and think they are wrong, like it’s their fault. So we’re doing this to build houses, like safe havens, for women that are being abused to get away from the relationship and get some therapy spiritually and mentally.”

Bobbi Kristina would have been 25 years old on March 4, 2018. Like her father, many are suspicious about Nick Gordon’s involvement, especially after learning that he was also present when her mother, Whitney Houston, died in her hotel room bathtub in 2012. Attorney Speaks About Nick’s New Regular Job

Nick has managed to resurface again and is making headlines after his attorney has confirmed that he is now employed as a grass cutter and is reportedly finally sober and drug-free. Here’s what was reported via US Weekly:

You see, in the Bobbi Kristina biopic, the world watched in horror as severe beatings were portrayed on the part of Nick Gordon to Bobbi Kristina. It also portrayed Nick as a boyfriend who tried to control Bobbi’s every move, stifle her music ambitions, use her money, supply her with drugs, and keep her estranged from her family. In addition to that, the movie showed portrayed Nick having heated moments with Whitney Houston’s brothers and his tense moments with Bobby Brown.

Is Nick Trying To Counteract Portrayal In Bobbi Kristina Biopic?

So it comes as no surprise that the typically reclusive Nick Gordon, shocked DailyMail when he agreed to do an interview and popped up with his girlfriend the very next day AFTER the Bobbi Kristina biopic aired.

Girlfriend’s Past Claims Totally Different From Her NEW Claims

The thing that was even more shocking, is that he and his girlfriend were back together. As we previously reported, Laura Leal and Nick made headlines in June 2017, after she called the cops on him, stating that he’d brutally beaten her at his home for 6 hours straight. She also released photos of her bruised body at that time and said it was a “miracle” she didn’t end up dead ‘like Bobbi Kristina.’ By August, Laura fought to have the charges against Nick dropped and never said another word publicly about it.

The Odd New Claims

Well lo and behold, Laura and Nick reappeared as some sort of happy couple for their new DailyMail interview. It was a very odd, and at one point, Nick’s publicist shouted repeatedly to Nick, telling him not to answer a certain question about the abuse, as Nick ignored him. Nick then spoke to try clear his name, saying that Laura was not in danger during the time he brutally beat her down.

Laura was then asked about their fight and why she dropped charges. At first she looked at Nick for approval to speak on it, then she went above and beyond to prove how much SHE is to blame for him beating her…

Via DM: “I take full responsibility and that’s why charges were dropped because it really was me [to blame],” [Laura said]. … And in stark contrast to her original claims, receptionist Laura now states that the only true fear she had that night was of herself. She explained: “I was in fear of myself and my own anger and fear of what I can push him to. In fear you know of where our argument and hours of delusional actions, just viciousness, might go. She added: “That’s what I really learned. I have my own issues. It’s me. And Nick has been one of the greatest people in my entire life to work through that with me. I have my own anger issues and the best friend that I have by my side is Nicholas Gordon.”

Girlfriend Stumbles When Asked This Question…

When the interviewer asked Laura why she chose to call the cops, Laura said “I honestly feared that I had a concussion” But when asked how she got the concussion, she stalled and outwardly questioned Am I saying to much?….Uh…I fell.” The whole time Nick was sitting their with a straight face looking forward, like he ain’t got no worries. The boyfriend of the late Bobbi Kristina Brown, Nick Gordon, is now a free man after his new girlfriend had him arrested for reportedly beating her to an oblivion on June 9, 2017. Nick’s past abusive history and/or allegations against him are just as headline grabbing as his luck these days.

As we previously reported, Nick’s girlfriend, Laura Leal, filed a domestic violence claim against Nick after she said he beat her in his Sanford, Florida home for six hours straight in June. She provided photos of her bruises to police and stated that she feared that she was about to end up just like Bobbi Kristina if she’d stayed with him:

Via DM: “I’ve been reading the reports about Bobbi Kristina and I’m physically shaking,’ [Laura Leal] told DailyMail.com at the time. “I read about her being isolated, her family not knowing where she was, the manipulation, the bullying – it’s the exact same thing. “That could have been me. Only the Grace of God saved me.”

Leal, who’s 5’2″ claimed that Nick- who’s 6’1″- had accused her of sleeping with his friend and after she denied it, he went into a fit of rage:

Via DM: He literally sat on top of me on the bed, punching my head with his big a** body on top of me,” she claimed. “I was punched so hard that I was seeing colors and a bright flashing light. I thought I was going to go blind and wondered whether I was ever going to be able to see again. I thought to myself, am I dying?”

Why Nick’s Grlfriend Dropped the Charges

Well now, Laura Leal is not denying that Nick beat her, she’s apparently simply tired of going through the lengthy legal process to get him convicted:

DailyMail.com has learned that prosecutors have dropped charges against Gordon – because Leal told the judge directly she wanted the case shut down. According to an official document seen by DailyMail.com, Leal… had initially been helpful with the police’s investigation. However, it said, “Leal became unhappy with the criminal justice process” and started harranguing police to get them to drop the case. She then put down her demands in writing – first in a written statement that she didn’t want to continue prosecution, and then by writing directly to the judge in charge of the case.

Via DM: According to the document, she also began to make “statements that indicated further or conflicting accounts of the original incident.” That, plus the fact that she was the only witness to the alleged incident, led to prosecutors shutting the case down.

Nick Forced To Undergo Anger Management By Police

It was also reported in the court docs, that the prosecuters “sought and obtained proof that sanctions requiring Mr Gordon to undergo a four hour Anger Management Course and a four hour Alcohol and Substance Abuse Course had been successfully completed prior to filing the notice of no prosecution.”

Another Woman Made Claims Against Nick

Shortly after Leal reported Nick in early June, another woman reportedly claimed to have photographic evidence that Nick had beaten her also. Prior to that, authorities investigating the current criminal case of Bobbi Kristina’s death, in which Nick is still a ‘person of interest,’ reportedly stated that they intend to factor in Leal’s claims into their case as well.

So again folks, Nick is a free man and has yet to have been convicted of any wrongdoing. As far as the criminal case for Bobby Brown’s and the beloved Whitney Houston’s daughter, we’ll keep you all posted.

Word on the Old School curb is that Bobbi Kristina’s fam’ is reportedly considering exhuming her body. Celebuzz has just been reported that Nick’s latest arrest raises concerns for the Brown family at a time when they’re still seeking answers. Although Bobbi Kris’ died from complications of lobar pneumonia, the Brown family is still skeptical about the nature of her death and the events preceding it. An insider reportedly shared details about the family’s concerns during an interview with Radar Online. 

“I think they should exhume Bobbi Kristina’s body, and make a determination as to the fact that Nick Gordon murdered her. He was responsible for her death!”

Nick’s Charges:

On June 10th (2017), Nick Gordon was arrested on charges of domestic battery and false imprisonment after he reportedly beat and kidnapped his girlfriend, Laura, in Florida. Back in January of 2015, Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub inside her Duluth, GA townhouse. Once she was rushed to the hospital, it was noted that she had bruising and a lost tooth. “They’re praying Nick gets thrown in jail for a long time so he can’t hurt another woman. He’s the worst kind of predator,” said the source.
