Enough Is Enough

Tweet has had enough of the church and rumors circulating about her daughter Shenice and has taken to Instagram to clear things up!

The two went to IG live to vent about the church and all of its antics. As you may recall the R&B singer previously dated Pastor Jamal Bryant, the two decided to go their separate ways last year.

She Gave Her Life To Christ

She has since been vocal about how she felt about the church, and how it has turned into a place of business rather than a place of healing. She also spoke on the backlash people gave her for returning to secular music after she gave her life to Christ.

Now what ignited the flame is when her daughter who is an aspiring singer trying to make her mark on the music scene is being targeted by people of the so called “church”. Shenice is also enduring similar struggles as her mother; whether to sing secular music or gospel and how to balance it all while living life as a christian.

Tweet had this advice to give to her daughter:

“Baby girl, speak your truth because I am…”I’m sick of it. Enough is enough. I’m tired. And it’s coming out in the music, it’s coming out in the interviews, it’s coming out. I’m not shading nobody, I’m telling my truth. Church has been the worst. I will NOT do church anymore.”

Shenice decided to open up about her battles and talked about how pastors and deacons would be in her DMs (direct messages), trying to take her out and offer her drinks. Her response would be to remind them of their titles and their leadership roles and let them know that what they are doing is inappropriate.

“Oops (Oh My)” songstress, Tweet, has finally resurfaced after undergoing a life threatening medical emergency and her fans couldn’t be happier to hear from her.

Recap Of Tweet’s Medical Emergency

As we previously reported, Tweet’s boyfriend/megachurch pastor and activist, Jamal Bryant shared, on Instagram, that she was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday (August, 29, 2017) for two blood clots in her lungs and her right arm:

@jamalhbryant: ALERT!!! I need your prayers for @tweet_ She’s been admitted in hospital for blood clots in both lungs & right arm! Doctors can’t trace it but God is a healer! Prayer still works…

Tweet’s daughter, Shenice had also asked everyone to pray for her mother after doctors informed them that Tweet had blood clots:

@therealshenice: Asking for your prayers. My mom has been admitted into the hospital battling blood clots in her lungs !!! We are believing God for total recovery! She’s my world and I know she’s in God’s hands !!

The thing we dig about Tweet, aside from her silky beautiful voice, is her compassion for others. Just hours before being rushed to the emergency room for her own health struggles, she managed to find the time to think about the horrific situation the people of Houston are currently enduring after Hurricane Harvey. Tweet didn’t stop there though, she also issued a wake up call about a very serious matter that has just gone down in the political realm, right up under our noses. That is that a bill was just passed to allow cops to barge into a person’s private home WITHOUT needing a warrant! Damn…REALLY?!! Well known pastor and activist, Jamal Bryant a.k.a. Tweet’s man, is helping to further expose such organizations in an effort to help the victims of Harvey get the true help they deserve. Here’s what he’s posted online:

WHY THEY’RE BLASTING THE ORGANIZATIONS

Bryant’s and T.I.’s posts come after news broke Wednesday (8-30-17), that Red Cross had pretty much screwed Haiti during their deadly earthquake disaster in 2010. Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, recently led a yearlong investigation into Red Cross’ reported funding of the Haiti earthquake that now has many questioning if the organization will fully help Harvey victims:

Via NPR: Grassley… said in an interview that even after a year of back-and-forth with the Red Cross, “we did not get satisfactory answers — like pulling teeth, it was very difficult.” The Red Cross, including [Red Cross CEO Gail] McGovern, repeatedly has told the public that all but 9 percent of donations spent go to humanitarian programs. But Grassley’s office found that 25 percent of donations sent to Haiti — or nearly $125 million — were spent on fundraising and management, a contingency fund and the catchall category the Red Cross calls “program expenses.” […] The venerated charity raised nearly $500 million after the disaster, more than any other nonprofit, but an ambitious plan to build housing resulted in just six permanent homes, NPR and ProPublica found.

Another Red Cross executive, Brad Kieserman, was also grilled on Morning Editon, about exactly how much will now go to relief efforts- such as Hurricane Harvey victims- from money donated to Red Cross and he decided to play a game of dodge ball with his answer:

On a side note, as Pastor Bryant helps hurricane victims, he’s also praying for his girlfriend, Tweet, who was rushed to the hospital Wednesday (8-20-17) for blood clots in her lungs and right arm. No word on her latest condition, but we send much love and uplifting energy to her at this time.

The Preacher’s co-host is now in contempt of court after his baby mama, LaToya Odom, put him on blast in recently filed legal documents. She recently filed legal docs asking the judge to lock Pastor Bryant up for failing to maintain certain court-ordered payments for their toddler son, John Bryant. According to new reports, it looks like Ms. Odom just got her wish…unless Bryant pays up really fast. Check out the details below…

Via TheJasmineBrand: Jamal Bryant was found in contempt of court, for his failure to obtain medical insurance for his child, along with failing to pay for expenses. […] On June 6th, the judge came back with his decision on the matter. The order states the issues that Bryant’s baby mama (LaToya Odom) raised were Bryant failing to pay child support on time, failure to provide medical & life insurance and failure to pay 75% of the uninsured medical expenses. … After reviewing the evidence, he found Bryant did not pay his child support untimely. However, he noted that he did fail to obtain medical & life insurance for his kid and failed to pay 75% of the medical expenses. … Bryant was ordered to pay $2,240.19 + $1,018.12 for a grand total of $3,258.31, then he will be purged of contempt.

As we previously reported, Bryant previously asked the judge not to lock him up, because he said LaToya was lying about him failing to pay child support and now it seems that he was right about that part. But in the words of his girlfriend, Tweet, he apparently had an “Oops!” by mistakenly (or maybe intentionally) skipping a few checks for his kid’s medical and life insurances. If the pastor knows what’s best for him though, he’ll be putting his ‘John Hancock’ on a check in LaToya’s name REAL soon. Unless he wants to be sitting in county jail singing gospel hymns with some big dude named ‘Bubba.’ I joke, I joke, I kid, I kid.
