Terry posted an epic thread putting the man who is squatting on his website domain name, terrycrews.com, on front street. The “mirroring sociopath” apparently befriended the actor, pretending to share many things in common with him “in order to manipulate and control” the friendship. Terry said that he ignored the signs until it was too late, but decided to put his fans up on game so we could avoid this kind of a headache:

Crews Claims Friend Made Subliminal Threats?

According to Crews, this cat is a real piece of work. He would brag about trying to kill his college roommate, by poisoning his peanut butter with mercury, just to let Terry know just how far he would go to get revenge if he ever double-crossed him.

The more time they spent together, the more aware Terry became of his unscrupulous activities. Crews said that this dude sold illegal drugs and Amway products at the same time. He always tried to steer the guy back to the straight and narrow unsuccessfully.

For Crews, the straw that broke the camel’s back was the guy’s foray into building pornographic websites- something Crews is apparently against. So, that’s when Crews says he had to part ways with his friend.

“When I found out he was building porn sites, I told him I couldn’t work with him anymore. I saw how it all would backfire on me,” Crews tweeted. “He agreed to no longer build them… Then he promptly asked ME to pay him to replace all the money the porn sites would have given him. I refused.”

Details Of Crews’ New Lawsuit Against Hollywood Exec

Via TMZ: In the lawsuit, Crews says Venit stared at him “like a rabid dog, sticking his tongue in and out of his mouth provocatively.” Crews said after the alleged assault he pushed Venit away, and turned to Adam Sandler yelling, “Adam, come get your boy! He’s grabbing my nuts.”

Crews says on his way home from the event Adam Sandler called and asked if he was ok, and Crews responded that he was surprised he got molested at age 48. He says Sandler expressed shock at Venit’s behavior. He says the next day he called his agent at William Morris Endeavor — the same agency where Venit works — telling him of the alleged assault. A few hours later, Crews says Venit called him and apologized, claiming he was just not himself that night.

Crews says he met with WME’s chairman Ari Emanuel, who apologized for Venit’s behavior. Crews says he told Emanuel he feared retaliation, but Emanuel said Venit “did not have that level of power despite his title as head of the Motion Picture Department.” Crews says he’s suffered psychologically and says he has never felt more emasculated and objectified. He says he worries about Venit’s power in the industry and hurting his career.

According to the screenshot, Crews texted Slater on Feb. 6 at 3:18 p.m. telling him what happened and who witnessed it.

“Brad– your boy Adam Venit– I was hanging with Sandler the other night and he was DOPED UP. It was embarrassing. Sandler had to call me to apologize. He actually grabbed my NUTS. I wish I was making this up. Becky was right there. Somebody needs an intervention–QUICK. He almost got knocked out. I kept my peace but I ran outta there. This wasn’t drunk bro. I know drunk. It was like bath salts or something,” Crews told Slater.

Slater replied, “Wait….. Whhhaaat??? Calling you. It will be me from a 424 number.”

On Nov. 27, Crews had already tweeted a copy of a Huffington Post letter that he had given to Ari Emanuel, reminding him that he had publicly called for the blacklisting of Mel Gibson after the veteran actor was caught making anti-Semitic remarks to a cop.

Crews asserted that Venit’s crime was just as serious, but he said that Emanuel replied, “it’s different” and handed the article back to Crews.

Even in the face of such damning evidence, the agency refuses to publicly acknowledge what happened to Crews. This speaks to one of the many reasons why women and men don’t report sexual harassment and assault.

Ever since Crews filed a formal police report with the LAPD and went public with an interview on Good Morning America (GMA), the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star has been attacked on social media and warned about outing Venit. Crews isn’t letting anybody get away with trying to belittle, nor intimidate him. He’s posting all the receipts on Twitter.

On Nov. 19, the day after his GMA sit-down with Michael Strahan, Crews got an email from Radar Online, threatening to run a false story about Crews hiring prostitutes. He knew that going head-to-head with one of the most powerful men in Hollywood would be the fight of his life, but Crews is not backing down.

“1 day after my @GMA interview, @radaronline threatened me w/a false story abt me hiring 2 hookers at the 2015 Monte Carlo TV Festival,” Crews wrote captioning the email from the media outlet. “It never went 2 press because it was a lie. This was not a coincidence. I told you they were coming 4 me, I also told you I am ready.”

The same day, Crews posted an email he received from Russell Simmons on Nov. 3, telling him to give Venit a pass and ask that he be reinstated. Crews responded to Simmons on Twitter: “Dear @uncleRUSH– NO ONE GETS A PASS.”

A particularly disturbing post, that Crews posted today, was a letter which included a marked up Huffington Post article written by Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel. In the article, Emanuel called for Hollywood to blackball Mel Gibson for making anti-Semitic remarks to a cop back in 2006. Crews replaced Gibson’s name with Venit’s and the words “racism and bigotry” with “sexual assault” and gave it to Emanuel. Crews said that Emanuel remarked, “it’s different” and handed the letter back to the actor. Does that mean different as in “not the same,” or different as in “not as important”?

The bottom line is that Crews has declared war against the pervasive and persistent predatory culture in Hollywood and the cards are stacked against him. But just as Emanuel wrote in that Huffington Post article, “there are times in history when standing up against bigotry and racism is more important than money.” For Crews, the crime is sexual assault. And if he wins the fight, WME stands to lose more than money…

Terry not only it clear that he wasn’t gay, he also noted that the whole war on masculinity is exactly the problem when it comes to the sexual assault of African American men. He argued how much that particular mindset has plagued so many victims for years. “Molesters use this same logic on their female or child victims, calling them ‘b*tches’ or “ho*s’ who asked 4 it,” he responded. “This mindset has gone unchallenged by the Black community for 2 long.”

Terry Crews’ Twitter clapback follows weeks of reports about his sexual assault allegations. The Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor outed his alleged sexual assaulter -Adam Venit, a high level Hollywood exec’ – and made it clear that he would not be ashamed. He also insists assaulters need to be held accountable for their actions, according to ABC News. “People need to be held accountable,” he said. “This is the deal about Hollywood. It is an abuse of power. This guy, again, he’s one of the most powerful man in Hollywood, and he looked at me at the end as if, ‘Who is going to believe you?'”

Crews also made a statement that is actually an example of how he was called out on Twitter. During the interview, he had this to say:

Over the weekend, he made headlines when he adamantly denied coercing a then 17-year-old model into having sex without consent at his NY apartment (where the legal age of consent is 17) 26 years ago. In case y’all missed that, the model stayed at Russell’s NY apartment for two days, hung out with him, as well as willingly gave him oral sex, but said she didn’t want to have vaginal sex with him, but that he allegedly did so anyway. Russell says she’s lying, the sex was completely consensual and that he’s “shocked” by her claims decades later. Although some believe that the model’s claims against Russell sound pretty suspect, the new claim by actor, Terry Crews, is different…

Now, according to Terry Crew, that model wasn’t the only one Russell tried to ‘coerce’…except it was for a situation that does not involve Russell. New York Daily News reported that Terry Crews recently blasted Russell Simmons for trying to talk him out of coming down on WME talent agent, Adam Venit, for sexually assaulting him at a party and all the drama started on Twitter.

Apparently, Simmons thinks Crews should give Venit a pass for groping him. Simmons even suggested that Crews ask for Venit to be reinstated at his job.

“Did he ever apologize? Give the agent a pass. Ask that he be reinstated,” Simmons said in an email to Crews after he publicly revealed that Adam Venit groped him at a party back in February of 2016. “With great love, all things possible.”

But Terry Crews isn’t havin’ it and he’s obviously not backin’ down. With the blasting photo, Crews made it clear that “no one gets a pass.”

Standing His Ground:

The latest bombshell follows Crews’ interview on Good Morning America, when he appeared on the show, he shared his reaction to the incident. He admitted it was one of the most humiliating moments in his life. “I’ve never felt more emasculated, more objectified,” he said. “I was horrified. But now, he’s standing his ground and seeking justice. “I will not be shamed. I did nothing wrong. It was foul to the core, and it still shocks me.”

It might be a good idea for Russell Simmons to steer clear of these particular situations, given the allegations he’s currently facing. Suggesting an alleged victim give a pass to their sexual abuser isn’t a good look for someone who adamantly denies being involved in any type of sexual assault. It actually makes it look like Simmons downplays sexual assault. Wendy Williams is notorious for speaking her mind but sometimes she takes things a bit far. Her latest statements about Terry Crews will probably fall into the category of “going too far.” A couple days ago, Wendy decided to give her opinion of Crews coming forward with sexual assault allegations against a Holywood executive.

Not Brave At All:

According to Too Fab, she had quite a bit to say about the Terry. Wendy claims she was asked if she thought it was brave of Terry Crews to speak out. She gave an interesting response. Needless to say, the statement was definitely somethin’ you’d expect from Wendy Williams. “I was asked in my meeting this morning, do I think it was brave of him to come out. I said, ‘No, it’s not brave, he’s just talking,” Williams said on her daytime talk show Wednesday, while discussing Crews’ Good Morning America interview that aired earlier that same day. For those who missed Crews’ interview, he actually named WME talent agent, Adam Venit, as the man who assaulted him.

From a professional stance, Wendy believes Crews’ claims may hurt his career. “It may have a really negative effect on his career, do you know what I mean? Being all black and being all chatty and this agent… He named names y’all. Terry’s going in.”

Due to all the backlash Wendy faced when she slammed Nelly’s rape accuser, she made it a point to note that what happened to Terry Crews was “disgusting.” Although she commended the brotha for coming forward, she believes he will suffer for doing so. “The agent is on leave and I hate to talk color, but he probably got a very, very lovely shoebox full of money from William Morris, this is -in my mind- to just disappear for a moment,” she said. “I’m glad Terry came forward to expose…unfortunately, I feel that in the race war that’s going on in this country still, Terry will suffer,” she added. “But good for you Terry and shame on you bald man.”

Who Attacked Crews?

The reporter then tried to get Crews to do something that, thus far, no one has been able to do–get Crews to name his attacker. But the actor hopped into his SUV without offering an answer. Reports revealed last week said that the culprit was Adam Venit. He heads up the motion picture group at William Morris Endeavor (WME). Crews is represented by the agency. According to TMZ sources, the actor named Venit in his formal complaint.

Deadline reported that Venit has been on administrative leave ever since news of the allegations broke. He is still employed by the agency. Venit’s client list includes big-name talents including Adam Sandler, Sylvester Stallone, Emma Stone, Brett Radner, and Dustin Hoffman. Ironically, Radner and Hoffman are now faces sexual harassment accusations of their own.

What Made Crews Come Forward?

This entire series of revelations started when Crews tweeted his #MeToo story referencing the assault that he said took place at an industry function last year. The “high level Hollywood executive came over 2 me and groped my privates,” Crews wrote. He said that his wife witnessed the assault.

Crews resisted the urge to beat the man up because he immediately realized that a big, strong, 240-pound Black man who stomped out a “Hollywood Honcho” probably wouldn’t fare well legally or professionally. Crews did talk to everybody he knew that worked with his attacker about what happened the next day. But he didn’t know what else to do until now.

Taking Action

Crews said that coupled with the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault scandal, his experience gave him PTSD. He had to speak out. Many have commended him for his brave stance which could have serious implications for his career. On the other hand, there are those who still believe that men don’t get harassed. Crews should just keep quiet, keep working, and take the money and run.

His Alleged Sexual Predator Revealed

Throughout the online chatter though, Terry remained silent about who his assaulter was, but apparently behind the scenes, he was doing his due diligence to point out the alleged sex predator. Turns out his sex assaulter happens to be an executive at WME- the talent agency that represents Crews. Ain’t that a blip?!!

The WME executive’s name is Adam Venit and according to The Hollywood Reporter, WME has now taken legal actions against him because of his assault on Terry:

Sexual assault is a sad reality that is clearly happening way more than the general public is made aware of. According to THR, even in just the short time since Harvey Weinstein has been blasted for sexual assault by many Hollywood actresses, not only has Adam Venit been put on leave, but so have several other Hollywood execs who are currently being allowed to fly under the radar, while their sexual predatory allegations are quietly investigated.

Wow…Hollywood is superb at creating illusions for our entertainment, but it looks like they’ve been consistently creating false illusions in the background as well. At the rate these execs are being ousted, Hollywood is gonna have a lot of new job vacancies real soon.

And given the way things are going these days, Terry Crews’ conclusion would’ve been accurate.

That would’ve been the headline (or worse), and it probably would’ve been accompanied by several angles to Crews’ arrest.

BUT THERE’S MORE TO THE STORY

Terry mentions that the Hollywood executive called him soon after to apologize for his actions.

However, the exec didn’t offer Crews an explanation of why he was sexually groped in the first place.

Yet with the way the industry is set up, Terry decided not to pursue it further. He said he felt the industry would’ve ostracized him for coming forth about being assaulted.

This especially being the case since the one who assaulted him holds a lot of power in Hollywood.

UNDERSTANDING VICTIMS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT

According to Terry Crews, he definitely empathizes with women who choose to stay silent for similar reasons regarding sexual assault experiences. In a tweet, Crews mentions as follows.

“But sumtimes Uhav2 wait & compare notes w/ others who’ve been victimized in order 2gain a position of strength.”

As his public message came to an end, he noted that this particular executive knew exactly who he was addressing.

Moreover, he further encouraged sexual assault victims that they’re not alone in the fight.

All in all, Terry is definitely the bigger man by keeping his first instincts reserve and not pummeling the daylights out of that “high-level Hollywood executive.”

Sometimes, you have to think passed the moment and see how your actions, responses, or reactions might affect your life…as well as those around you.
