In case y’all haven’t heard…Tyrese is in England filming for an upcoming “Fast n’ Furious” movie. One of the downsides is that his filming schedule conflicted with Shayla’s 9th grade graduation, which occurred a few days ago.

In addition to Tyrese, who could forget Taraji P. Henson’s feisty role as “Jody’s” girlfriend, “Yvette?” Snoop Dogg did his thing in the film too- his acting wasn’t spectacular, but he made up for it by rockin’ that classic wife beater tank on his thin frame, and giving an epic mean mug throughout the film.  Ving Rhames and AJ Johnson  bumpin’ n’ grindin’ to old school music in the kitchen, left a lasting impression. Omar Gooding also played the hell outta his thug role.

Those are all great memories and Tyrese reminisced about those days, shortly after paying his final respects to the man who gave him his first movie gig, legendary director, John Singleton.

The beloved Boyz N’ The Hood and Poetic Justice director, Singleton, was laid to rest on Monday, May 6, 2019, after passing away from a stroke. His funeral was private, but many celebs, including Tyrese and his Baby Boy co-star, Taraji, were in attendance.

At the time, Tyrese even had fans givin’ him the side eye because he seemed like a basket case with his emotions all over the place. But it could have just been the fact that he loves his baby. In fact, Tyrese has made it clear he loves his baby so much, he’ll stop at nothin’ to make sure she’s well taken care of which might explain his latest legal tactic to block Norma from traveling out of the country with Shayla. If you haven’t heard the latest, Tyrese is heading back to court to play a hardball with Norma. Not only his he blockin’ her trip overseas, he’s going a step further to squash all this drama once and for all.

No Israel For Shayla:

When Tyrese caught wind of Norma’s plans to travel to Israel, he immediately made a call to his attorney to pump the breaks. According to The Blast, Tyrese’s attorneys quickly got to work filing court documents to prohibit Norma from taking Shayla to Israel. Insiders have revealed on Tuesday, June 5, Norma appeared in court requesting an emergency hearing to be granted the right to travel overseas with their daughter. Of course, Tyrese is NOT having that. The “Shame” singer reportedly cited concerns about Shayla’s safety due to recent events and circumstances that have contributed to the rise in violence in the area. In a nutshell, Tyrese is saying it ain’t safe and Shayla ain’t going.

Emergency Or Nah?:

Although Norma requested an “emergency” hearing, Tyrese’s attorneys are arguin’ that there’s nothin’ about the trip to justify it bein’ an emergency.

The “Fast and the Furious” star’s ace attorney, Ali Fishbein, argued that their is no emergency reason for Norma to take their daughter out of the country. Fishbein also claimed Tyrese was worried over the safety of his daughter while in Israel, especially after the uptick in violence since the U.S. embassy was moved into Jerusalem.

Big Win In Court:

As expected, the judge sided with Tyrese and shut down Norma’s trip. But he didn’t stop there. Norma was also forced to surrender Shayla’s passport. So they definitely ain’t goin’ nowhere anytime soon. Tyrese’s big win in court has opened the door for yet another legal battle and Norma may have done better just leavin’ well enough alone. Although she and Tyrese share 50/50 custody of Shayla, now he’s seeking primary custody of his daughter so he can move her to Atlanta. Tyrese filed court documents insisting it “is in Shayla’s best interest” to relocate from Los Angeles (where she lives with her mother) to Atlanta.”

The singer and his new wife recently closed on a $4.2 million home in Hotlanta. Tyrese’s deposition also details the efforts he’s made with the purchase of his “23,000 square foot home in an affluent and safe neighborhood.” He went on to describe Shayla’s environment at his home with “her own room and bathroom in his home, complete with a bed and an extra set of bunk beds for her friends to stay overnight.”

It looks like Norma’s about to be fighting an uphill battle with Tyrese.

Model’s Claims

In 1991, Khalighi went to dinner with Russell Simmons and his friend/video director, Brett Ratner, at New York’s famous Mr. Chow’s. She claims that they then invited her back to Simmons’ apartment to watch a music video they were in the pre-production phase of and that’s when Khalighi says Simmons started pulling off her clothes:

Thursday night, October 26, after having an incredibly intense day with his ex-wife —  Norma Gibson — Tyrese began to feel “bad chest pains,” as reports TMZ.

According to the source, those close to Tyrese mention he went back to his hotel after leaving the courthouse. That’s when he started experiencing those pains. Likewise, TMZ was told that Tyrese also felt dehydrated. It was at this point he decided to go to a hospital and check in.

As you can see from Tyrese’s Facebook page, he was posting from the hotel location earlier today. The post’s caption mentioned as follows.

The source reports that the actor is currently being treated with fluids for dehydration. Moreover, after hydrating appropriately, he will undergo tests to further pinpoint why he’s having chest complications.

REGARDING HIS COURT SITUATION

The source says Tyrese left court earlier Thursday while dressed in all-black. He stated that this day was a “funeral for abuse allegations against him.”

The source notes that he was in court because ex-wife Norma accused him of spying on her, and sending her daughter, Shayla, into a frenzy at school.

According to People, Norma specifically accused him of flying a banner of Shayla’s school, even while there’s a restraining order against him at the moment.

Via Instagram, Tyrese admitted to the banner allegation as follows.

How Their Daughter Is Getting Dragged Into Drama

It’s just been reported that Tyrese’s ex-wife can call Shayla to the stand to testify about alleged child abuse. Norma Gibson accused Tyrese of beating their daughter, which led to an investigation by the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services. They are due back in court on Oct. 24.

Ex-Wife’s Allegations & Tyrese’s Response

Last month, Norma filed her complaints after she said Tyrese struck Shayla somewhere between 12 and 16 times, to the point where the little girl couldn’t sit down. Tyrese said Shayla’s lying through her teeth and that he only hit Shayla once on her bottom to reprimand her for doing something she shouldn’t have done. He believes that Norma is acting out of anger because he married his new wife on Valentine’s Day. Tyrese and Norma’s marriage was short-lived, lasting from 2007 until 2009. The divorce was rife with animosity and the custody battle was particularly nasty.

Attorney: “She’s A Lying Piece Of Sh*t”

Attorney Terry Levich Ross said that Norma’s allegations are categorically false and he’s determined to clear Tyrese’s name:

“She’s a lying piece of sh*t,” Ross said. “Tyrese is devastated. He’s a good guy and I will prove that.”

Norma was granted a temporary restraining order, which she wants to make permanent. She says that Tyrese is a danger to her and their daughter, especially since what she claims was his recent diagnosis of bipolar disorder as well as manic behavior. The “Fast & Furious” franchise star responded to the allegations, in an Instagram post, addressing Norma directly.

“All I wanna do is co/parent nothing else… Please… Stick(s) and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt,” he wrote on Sept. 13. “…Norma I know you can see this, I’m sorry I got re-married, I’m sorry we didn’t work out… Sometimes you get married and have kids and things just don’t work out, but I have NEVER wished harm on you… But I see the attacks just won’t stop so I believe this too will pass and God and the courts will reveal the truth.”

We all know Tyrese and Tank haven’t been on good standing ever since their TGT falling out, but both of those cats are talented singers/actors. So, Tank could really be trying to “expand his horizon” as an actor. But because of the current tension between Tank, Rock and Tyrese, some of Tank’s  fans think Tank might have had a petty moment. The Rock Claps Back:

The latest news about Tank follows The Rock’s recent clap back at all of the hate he’s received since the spinoff was announced. Although the Scorpion King actor didn’t say any names, it looks like there is a strong possibility his words may have been for Tyrese and his other Fast and Furious co-stars. According to Too Fab, The Rock recently took to Instagram to thank Universal Studios for the opportunity he’s been given to do the spinoff. But he also had a message for the “candy asses” who he feels are attempting to stop others from having opportunities to join the massive platform.

“Thank you UNIVERSAL STUDIOS for being tremendous partners who see the big picture and for coming to us years ago with this spinoff idea. Huge shout to my brother, Jason Statham for the trust and wanting to create and deliver something fresh and bad ass for the fans,” he wrote. “I have a tremendous amount of respect for this franchise that I’ve enjoyed droppin’ blood and sweat in over the years and my vision is to create greater opportunities for not only my fellow FF castmates, but for other amazing actors as well who want to be a part of something new and cool.”

Apparently the brotha is pissed that The Rock has reportedly taken an offer to star in a Universal Pictures spin-off of The Fast & Furious franchise. Singer/actor, Tyrese Gibson, is known to speak his mind. So much so, that many of us probably remember when he caught major flack about his new wife, Samantha. A while back, most of Tyrese’s African American female fans were very offended after he referred to his visibly biracial wife as a “Black Queen.” He then proceeded to clap back at those fans, by insensitively pointing out that his wife is “natural” and doesn’t have to wear “weaves” and such, which was like pouring water on a gasoline fire. Later, he stated that he never meant to offend anyone, but the damage was already done.

Well, now Samantha has decided to publicly speak her mind online as well, regarding their relationship. It’s unclear what provoked Samantha to post a lengthy message, in which she’s proclaiming that Tyrese did not ‘make’ her. But whatever the reason, Samantha wants the world to know that she was already “successful” long before Tyrese wife’d her. Here’s what she wrote…

On marrying Tyrese and her prior struggles:

“There’s people who treat me like I’ve made it because of the man that happen to be married to. NO!!!! I considered myself successful before I even gave him the time of day! I worked my behind off in high school, achieved high grades, worked multiple jobs and helped my momma clean homes and have a daycare service to make ends meet.”

On her education,finances, and health:

“I went to a great college, worked multiple jobs throughout school, dealt with abusive, heartbreaking relationships and friendships, serious family problems, economic hardships, homelessness, debilitating health problems, and I still managed to graduate on time, cum laude at UGA with my Bachelors of Science.”

On her hardships, hard work and dedication:

“I had several jobs upon graduating, which became a habit of mine, had a place with roommates, and did very well saving up enough money to go back to school to get my masters. Battled homeless again, exhaustion, emotional hardships Worked at some of the most difficult places in social work, and maintained a 3.98 GPA while hustling on the side as a bartender. I graduated, worked as cleaning woman, a bartender and at a DV / trafficking site while studying for my licensure upon graduating with my masters. I got my licensure and waited on God for my perfect job working within the school system. AND maintained my bartending job for some extra income.”

Okay ILOSM fam,’ y’all got that message from Tyrese’s “Black Queen” loud and clear, right? Good…now, onto what I really want to know: When will Tyrese and Taraji P. Henson be making a Baby Boy sequel? I’d rather be talking about that great chemistry between “Jody” and “Yvette.”
