Jamie Foxx has always been a noted ladies man that fully embraced the bachelor lifestyle for years until rumors began swirling that he and actress Katie Holmes were dating. And at first many cocked their heads to the side like “Huh?” because it seemed like an odd pairing. Yet it’s true. However, their relationship has been so secretive people are always wondering “Are they still together?”

Speculation of Jamie and Katie’s budding romance began six years ago in 2013 when according to US Weekly, at the time, Jamie and Katie had been involved in a secret relationship that was so covert it actually involved disguises.

Us first revealed in March 2015 that the Dawson’s Creek alum and Foxx had been secretly dating for two years. At the time, the couple mostly limited their interactions to each other’s homes. At times, a source previously told Us, Holmes would go as far as to dress in disguise to meet up with her man. An insider said that Holmes would “put on a wig and hat to meet him at a hotel.”

In the following years the two of them kept toying with the public as they continued their “Are They or Aren’t They?” performance until the two of them finally became a little more serious. By January of last year they had decided it was time to let everyone know they were an item by sitting together at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party in New York City. But things took another turn when, back in February, Jamie informed reporters at Jay-Z and Beyonce’s Oscars after party that he was now single. And partying with his friend and All-Star Weekend co-star Jessica Szhor that night didn’t necessarily quiet the rumors either.

So what’s the deal now then? Are Jamie and Katie still together or not??

“I know you prepared because I saw pictures. Did you and Katie Holmes play basketball for Valentine’s Day? Like some real Love and Basketball?” ESPN’s Michael Smith asked Foxx live on SportsCenter.

After Smith posed his question, Jamie took off his microphone and simply walked off. Confused by his response, Smith asked on camera if he lost Jamie. In the background, Jamie put on his hood and began jumping around the gym.

In case you’re wondering what Smith was referring to, photos surfaced of Holmes and Foxx on Valentine’s Day, enjoying a game of basketball. While they have never verbally confirmed their relationship, Foxx and Holmes have been quietly dating for quite some time. They also made things official when they decided to go public on their date together at Clive Davis’ 2018 Pre-Grammy event in February. The Dawson’s Creek alum, 39, and the Beat Shazam host, 50, were seen headed to the gym, as Jamie carried an orange ball and a large Nike shopping bag. It seems like they were in sync with their attire with both of ’em rockin’ similar hats. Both Holmes and Foxx have attempted to keep their relationship private in the past, but it’s hard to deny their love now.

Rumors were circulating that Foxx and Holmes were dating back in 2013, however, their relationship seemed to be confirmed when they were spotted holding hands on a Malibu beach. The Hollywood heavyweights were pictured walking hand in hand along the sand barefoot.  Hella romantic, right?!! As we previously reported, Foxx was spotted whispering in the ear of Holmes at  Clive Davis‘ annual Pre-Grammy Awards  party. They reportedly didn’t walk the red carpet together, but they sat at the same table showing public affection.

According to People, Holmes tried to avoid drawing attention to the them by attempting to move to a different seat; however, Clive Davis called her out.

“This lady left the room right when I was going to introduce her, she was sitting at that table right with Jamie Foxx and everyone else,” Davis said to People. He then added, “If you’re going to sit together what better night than tonight.”

Is THIS The Real Reason They Couldn’t Go Public Until Now?

Word on the Old School curb is that Tom Cruise reportedly had Katie sign a clause in their divorce agreement, that prevented her from publicly dating anyone for 5 years after their marriage. Ain’t that a blip?!! Here’s what RadarOnline reported:

“Katie signed a clause in her quickie divorce settlement that prevents her from embarrassing Tom in various ways, like talking about him or Scientology, or publicly dating another man for five years after the divorce.”

That’s probably why it wasn’t until December 2017, that Jamie and Katie went public for his star-studded birthday bash. But now, they just took things to the next level and decided to show up and show out for a of their industry friends- some of which we’re assuming are also friends of Tom Cruise’s- to see…

At last night’s (1/27/2018) Pre-Grammy Gala, Jamie and Katie made their grand entrance as an official couple. As you can see in the photos above, they were laughing it up and lovey dovey throughout the event and they now have the internet on fire.

As many of y’all already know, Jamie’s reportedly been dating Katie -the ex-wife of his former friend and Collateral co-star, Tom Cruise- for about 5 years now. They allegedly started their trip down love lane in 2013, a year after Katie slapped Tom with divorce papers in 2012.

Throughout Jamie’s and Katie’s mysterious 5 year relationship, they managed to jump through hoops and tackle a ‘mission impossible’…get it? LOL. What we mean by that is, it’s damn near impossible for two mega superstars, like Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes, to date (allegedly) for 5 years and avoid being photographed by paparazzi together. Apparently though, their dodge game has been game tight, up until recent times.

As we previously reported, the world eventually got a slight peek at the couple, when they were snapped walking hand in hand on a secluded beach in somewhere, USA.

But now, Jamie and Katie are letting it ALL hang out. As we also recently reported, Jamie turned ALL the way up with his celebrity friends for his 50th birthday bash on December 13, 2017. At the time of that report, it was mentioned that Katie was there, but there were no pics, nor video of her attending the shindig…until now.

For the first time ever, Jamie and Katie have FINALLY decided to show the world that they got a thing goin’ on like Billy Paul and ‘Mrs. Jones.’ Katie was filmed choppin’ it up with her alleged man on stage at the 50th sha-bang. The party was a pretty Black event, with a bunch of old school hip hop joints blasting through the speakers and rappers were everywhere. However, although prim and proper Katie may have looked a little odd in that setting, she was hella comfortable. Her comfortability is actually understandable though, when you factor in the very high possibility that Jamie has probably had her in plenty of private social settings like that one before.

Well, well, well, look at what we have here. It is the infamous secret celebrity couple, Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes, making things official in public, once and for all.

For about the past four years (since 2013) actor/singer, Jamie, and actress, Katie Holmes, have been playing a game of dodge ball in regards to their alleged love for each other. In fact, they seemed to have been living by the words of Xscape’s song: “You’re my little secret and that’s how we should keep it/it’s on everybody’s mind, about you and I/ they think so, but they don’t really know, or wanna know that you’re my little secret…”

Welp folks, apparently now we do know…because Jamie and Katie have finally said ‘to hell with it…let’s just do us boo.’ Okay, that’s purely assumption on my part, but it’s a justifiable one, because today photos have surfaced of the happy alleged couple, walking on the beach hand in hand, lookin’ like they were fresh off of the cover of Terry McMillan romance novel.

Many of y’all may recall the numerous reports in which Jamie denied dating Katie and Katie dodged the questions altogether. Then they recently were seen boarding the same private jet together…but still never confirmed they were a couple. However, behind the scenes of the entertainment world, everybody and their mommas knew about the two.

On a side note, Jamie and Katie’s ex-husband/father of her adorable daughter, Tom Cruise, were cool with each other for years. I wonder if they’re still cool as a fan now though…

Anyways, we wish Jamie and Katie the best with their reported relationship…they’re probably happy they can finally live life freely now that they’ve gotten that monkey off of their backs. By the way, since they’ve gone public, maybe we’ll finally get answers about that big rock that suddenly popped up on Katie’s left ring finger last year. Hmmm…

As reported by TMZ, there’s no huge diamond set in it, the ring is getting a ton of attention … possibly because of her longtime rumored boyfriend Jamie Foxx.

Jamie was also spotted wearing a gold band on his left hand the night before … also in NYC.
But Foxx’s rep say they’re not engagement or wedding rings. The funny thing is, with their relationship, either Foxx nor Holmes have ever confirmed the relationship at all. One thing to consider is that Holmes’ had a very public marriage and divorce with Tom Cruise, but Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx were really good friends.

So the short answer is, no they are not engaged. But the relationship seems to be legit.
