Tamar Braxton and estranged husband/manager, Vincent Herbert, have gone through a plethora of hurdles in what seems to be the final years of their marriage. From domestic violence rumors, to cheating allegations, to Tamar going public with her new boo-thang, they’ve been through it all.

Welp folks, they have yet another hurdle to add to their union. Vincent was reportedly hospitalized and apparently his wife was nowhere to be found. But the question is: Is she wrong, or are her actions justifiable? Read on to see what went down…

Vincent’s Hospitalization & What Tamar Did As A Result

One the same day Tamar confirmed that she was “in love” with a new man on “The Wendy Williams Show,” news surfaced that Vincent was and/or still is in the hospital for gout.

If you aren’t familiar with gout, that ailment is a mutha! It’s hella painful and described by MayoClinic as such:

Gout is a common and complex form of arthritis that can affect anyone. It’s characterized by sudden, severe attacks of pain, swelling, redness and tenderness in the joints, often the joint at the base of the big toe.

Now that we have a good picture of the pain that Vince is reportedly in at this time, here’s what TMZ reported regarding Tamar’s position on his well being:

Tamar Braxton’s relationship with her estranged husband is apparently so far gone … she won’t even visit him in the hospital. We’re told Vincent Herbert is hospitalized with gout in his elbow — SUPER PAINFUL — and Tamar has no plans to lift his spirits with a visit. Vincent has been in the hospital since Thursday, but she’s been radio silent. We’re told he and Tamar aren’t talking anymore.

Hmmm… if Tamar still has yet to visit Vince, she must be completely fed up with him. Or maybe she simply doesn’t wanna play into any potential sympathy card on his end and give him false hope of reconciliation. As many of y’all already know, Vince made it crystal clear that he wants to repair their marriage. However, Tamar put that nail in the marriage coffin, when she served Vince divorce papers last week, then went on national TV to declare her love for her new Harvard educated Nigerian bae.

In Case You Missed Her Bombshells

In case y’all missed what she revealed on “The Wendy Williams Show,” Tamar had a few bombshells to drop.

When Wendy asked Tamar if she was “in love” with her man of three months, Tamar gushed and replied, “Yes, very much so.”

She confessed that she’d been molested by relatives on both sides of her family. As we previously reported, Tamar told Wendy about the blowup she recently had with her family on Iyanla Vanzant’s “Fix My Life” show. Apparently, during the Braxton sisters’ therapy session with Iyanla, Tamar abruptly got up and stormed outta the room in an emotional hissy-fit:

“A lot of things happened to me in my childhood that I was too afraid to talk about, or too ashamed to talk about. But the truth of the matter is that…I’ve been molested by both sides of my family. And…it’s nothing I ever talked about and I never thought that I would sit around at a table with Iyanla, who’s here to talk about…me and my sisters and their problems and to bring that up and to sex shame me basically in front of everybody. So that’s why I got up and walked out.”

It’s been damn near a year- 11 months to be exact- since Tamar Braxton filed for divorce from her husband/manager, Vincent Herbert. Ever since then, she seemed to be draggin’ her feet at actually going through with her divorce from the man she’s called hubby for 10 years and has been with for a total of 15 years. Throughout their drama-filled marriage and apparent separation, Vince and Tamar were starting to look like the “Break Up To Make Up” couple that The Stylistics sang about back in the day. They gave fans hope that a reconciliation was evident and even made public appearances together.

It’s a new day for Tay-Tay now though, because she has just made it official and finally had Vince served with his walking papers according to The Blast.

Details On Tamar’s Serving Of Divorce Papers, After Receiving Warning

It seems that Tamar’s mind may not have been completely made up just yet, but all she needed was a lil’ extra push from the court forcing her to use it, or lose it- her 11 month old divorce filing that is.

Apparently, the courts gave Tamar a warning that her filing was about to be tossed out and that’s when Tamar made her move:

Via TB- On September 11, Braxton filed court docs in her divorce showing “proof of service.” The singer says Vince got the papers earlier this month, meaning any hope for reconciliation is pretty much over.

Tamar Braxton had been warned last month by the L.A. County court that her divorce was at risk of being dismissed over inactivity. The court told Tamar that she needed to show proof that Herbert had been served if she wanted to acquire a default judgment.

Tamar’s New Alleged Boo-Thang

Following the countless domestic violence rumors, cheating allegations and arrests that began to overpower Tamar’s and Vincent’s marriage in recent years, fans are happy that the two former lovebirds are parting. The reality show couple is accustomed to airing out their dirty laundry at times on their show Tamar & Vince. However, during their interview, Tamar wanted to make it clear that their drama is very real and denounced claims that it is all hype for ratings. During the interview, Tamar did seem emotional when talking about the deterioration of her marriage and pending divorce. So either she’s a helluva actress, or she and Vince are really telling the truth and being wrongly accused by many of creating drama to boost ratings for entertainment purposes. Tamar & Vince Give Details About Their Problems

On if they are trying to boost ratings with marriage woes:

Tamar: “I wish mine (reality show) wasn’t real…just so I can hide behind the truth sometimes. In this situation, I absolutely have no reason to lie about my marriage for ratings. I think that’s disgusting and I would never sell my soul to the devil like that. […] It was just to a point where I felt divorce was the only action I had left, although we’re in EXTENSIVE counseling. […] I definitely filed for divorce, that’s not a lie.”

Tamar also stated that their “responsibility” is to their 4 year old son, Logan, and to raise him in a loving environment, which is why she says her and Vince “don’t live together.”

Vince: “Absolutely not. And all the other allegations are not true, I’m just not that kind of person. […] “I love this lady with all my heart. I will never stop fighting with my family and make it great.”

Tamar: “I believe him because I don’t believe he has anything to lie about. … I’m already gone, I already filed for divorce. The pregnancy rumor came from my friends.”

Tamar further explained the meltdown she had on social media, regarding the rumors that Vince had gotten another woman pregnant. She blamed her friends for telling her that “lie”:

“Let me just address the meltdown. … That was my fault that I put myself in a position where I opened up the floor for people to give their opinions on my marriage and I have to take responsibility for that. I do air my dirty laundry, however I’ve never been that specific. I should have been specific enough to say this is what my so-called friends were saying.”

When paparazzi caught up with Ms. Braxton at LAX airport, she had a LOT to say about the drama surrounding Tamar and Vince’s rocky marriage and pending divorce. She was asked her thoughts on their current situation and immediately, she jumped to the alleged domestic violence fights that Tamar and Vince have attempted to ignore in the media.

As we’ve previously reported, there was an altercation some months ago, in which cops were called to Vince’s and Tamar’s hotel room after he allegedly hit Tamar and bit her finger, drawing blood. There have also been several other rumors and whispers about alleged violence between them in the past.

According to TheShadeRoom, he was interviewed by the policeman on the scene and they allowed him to leave the crash site, after finding that it was just an accident and no external factors, such as driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol were involved.

Apparently, Vince simply lost control of his pickup truck in Calabasas, Cali., causing his truck to slam head-on into a tree…geesh! At this point, neither Vincent, nor Tamar have publicly commented on the crash. From the looks of the crash photo, his driver’s side airbag deployed and we’re not sure if he was wearing a seatbelt, but the airbag probably helped save him from more severe injuries.

This is just another reminder to all of us, that we just never know when something like this can happen and in those moments it is truly a matter of life of death with in just a few short seconds notice. Tamar Braxton’s husband, Vincent Herbert, is at the center of a legal battle with Sony Music. According to The Grio, Vince has been sued for $3.4 million after refusing to pay millions he reportedly owed the label. The back-and-forth ordeal has been ongoing since 2013. But, things got even worse when Vince entered into a new deal with Sony last year and received a $5 million advance. However, after the label cut the check, Vince allegedly backed out of the deal. Needless to say Sony Music wants their money back and they’re tired of playing tug-of-war. See how it all started below…

The Original Deal:

Back in 2013, Vince was part of a between Sony Music and Streamline Records where he would sign and develop new artists. He received the $5 million and agreed he would instruct Interscope Records to send payments as profits were made. Vince agreed to sign two artists and Tamar was one of the two. She also received a $1 million advance for her album, Love & War.

Then, Vince reportedly failed to sign a second artist. However, things didn’t stop there. Although Sony was only reimbursed $1,528,315 of the $5 million advance, Vince allegedly ordered Interscope to stop making payments to Sony. Now, they want their money back – $3,471,685 to be exact.

Still Together & Still Clapping Back:

Despite all the opposition and drama Tamar and Vince have dealt with over the past few months, they appear to be standing strong. Last week, Tamar clapped back against the woman who claims to be the mother of Vince’s secret child. The Braxton Family Values reality star went on a serious rant via Instagram where she defended her husband and her marriage.

“Everything is good, and God is good,” she said. “We have been through a lot in this past year and it did nothing but bring our relationship closer because I’m not even going to sit up here and act like we don’t argue, we don’t fight… I think we’ve come to the point where we know that this is where we are supposed to be.”
