After Janet Jackson announced that she separated from her billionaire husband, Wissam Al Mana, fans everywhere began speculating ‘why.’ Janet made her announcement in May 2017, just three months after their son, Eissa, was born.

Randy’s Prior Claims

Months later Janet’s brother, Randy Jackson, was the first to speak on why she split from her then-husband. In an interview with People, he claimed Wissam mentally abused Janet, and that he had gotten THIS close to layin’ hands on Wissam:

“It was quite an abusive situation,” Randy claims. “It came on later in the relationship, verbal abuse and being [made to feel like] a prisoner in her own home. No pregnant woman needs to go through being called a b*tch everyday. There were things like that. That’s what she went through.[…] I told her, ‘You’ve got to move in with me or I’m going to go over there and there’s going to be hell.’ She was really pissed off. I told her, ‘I don’t care anymore. I’m tired of it. It’s too much.'”

More Claims

There’s another close source from Janet’s inner circle who eventually spoke out to USWeekly, with more claims about how Wissam was reportedly treating Janet. According to USWeekly, Wissam came along in 2010 when Janet was at a very low point- she was severely grieving her brother, Michael’s death in 2009 and she was reportedly depressed after her 2009 breakup with her longtime boyfriend, Jermaine Dupri.

Via USW: “He swept in at just the right time,” reveals a second insider. “He bailed her out and whisked her away to the Middle East. […] Janet was never very maternal before, but that changed with Wissam,” adds the insider. “He really wanted a baby and she was ready. She realized she found the right guy.” Al Mana’s desire for “a traditional wife who stuck with Muslim traditions” began to influence his wife, claims the Jackson source. She started to wear burkas…and to steer clear of her former confidants. “Janet felt like she couldn’t be herself anymore,” says the source. […] “Janet felt like her music was suffering and she resented Wissam. … She couldn’t settle down and be what he wanted.” […] “She put her foot down and said no,” adds the Jackson source. “Janet wanted to get her life back.”

Recap Of Their 911 Drama

In case you missed it, Janet made headlines on Saturday (June 2, 2018), after calling police on Wissam, who was staying at the Nobu Ryokan hotel in Malibu, FL with their 1 year old son, Eissa. Janet was located in a different state at that time, and initially told cops she suspected Wissam was high and was worried about their son’s safety. Randy Jackson also told Entertainment Tonight that Janet’s nanny was “terrified by [Wissam’s] behavior and locked herself in a bathroom, so she could contact Janet.”

Within minutes, cops rushed over to check on baby Eissa and realized not a doggone thing was wrong with him, nor Wissam, so they left Eissa with his daddy. After speaking with Janet and Wissam for further clarity, the officers determined that Janet lied on Wissam and it was all the result of their extremely bitter relationship. FYI: They’re currently embroiled in a salty custody battle for their son. But NOW fingers are being pointed at Randy…

Fast forward to Tuesday (June 5) and more facts have surfaced:
1. It’s just been confirmed that Janet called the cops on Wissam not once, but TWICE -on Friday AND Saturday.
2. Sources also have reported that Janet was definitely pissed off with Wissam when she called the cops to falsely reported him as being high. However, the real reason was supposedly ‘all about Wissam not making Wi-Fi available to Janet’s nanny because cell service was spotty in Malibu and Janet wanted communication,’ reports TMZ.

Why Randy’s Being Blamed Now

Close associates of Janet and Wissam are now accusing Randy of stirring up more mess than “Ms. Bonita” did on “In Living Color.” Apparently, he’s doing it all in the name of love for his sister and her son.

Via TMZ: Stories initially surfaced that the nanny became frightened by Wissam’s “aggressive behavior.” The way the initial story went … she was “terrified by his behavior and locked herself in a bathroom so she could contact Janet.” That story did not come from Janet … it came directly from her brother, Randy.

Sources connected to the former couple say Randy is fanning the flames of conflict to help Janet gain an edge in her custody case. They say her call had nothing to do with a terrified nanny. It was all about cell phone service, although she did drop a reference to drug use.

Word on the Old School curb is that Janet and Wissam are beefin’ hard right now because Janet wants their son to live in the U.S. with her. However, she’s having a tough time convincing Wissam- a London, England citizen- to agree. Their son was born in London, England, where Janet and Wissam were living at that time. Once they separated, Janet decided to move back to the U.S.. Why She Originally Called Cops

On Saturday night, Janet summoned law enforcement to Wissam’s Nobu Ryokan hotel room in Malibu, where he was staying with their 17 month old son, Eissa. When the news first spread, it was reported, by Entertainment Tonight, that Janet (who was in another state) told cops she was worried that Wissam was high as a kite and therefore, concerned about the welfare of their son. To put that extra stank on it, Janet’s big brother, Randy, backed up her claims and gave further details….from Janet’s side of the story:

Randy tells ET that his sister called 9-1-1 after being contacted by a nanny who was helping Al Mana care for the child at the time. According to Randy, the nanny became frightened by Al Mana’s behavior which she believed was aggressive. According to Randy, the nanny was “terrified by his behavior and locked herself in a bathroom, so she could contact Janet.”

New Details Emerge…Cops Call BS

The responding officers have now revealed the REAL reason Janet called them for her husband and according to them, Janet’s claims are highly suspect. Why? Because when they arrived at Wissam’s hotel room, they soon realized there was nothing wrong. Wissam wasn’t high, nor irate, and little Eissa was the farthest thing from being in danger.

The cops then encouraged Janet and Wissam to tell them what’s really up between them. Turns out, the whole fiasco was the result of their tumultuous relationship:

Via The Blast– …Upon arrival cops found there was no danger and determined the child is unfortunately caught in the middle of his parent’s bitter custody war.

Law enforcement sources tell The Blast Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana have been having nasty childcare issues over baby Eissa, which has resulted in frequent arguments between the two. We’re told the welfare check was initiated Saturday night around 9:55 PM by Jackson to check on the child while in the care of his father at the Nobu Ryokan hotel in Malibu.

When deputies arrived, we’re told they found the baby to be well taken care of, with no signs of anything wrong. We’re told the baby was not in danger, and there were no drugs around or suspected. There are reports Janet claimed Al Mana was using drugs, but an official for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office tell us there was zero suspicion of drugs being used, and they were confused as to why Jackson made the allegation. No report was taken and Eissa was left in the care of his father.

We’re told deputies spoke with both Al Mana and Jackson, and determined there has been an ongoing verbal dispute between the two parents. It’s unclear if Jackson is going to take further legal action regarding the current custody situation.

Janet and Wissam are both very involved in their son’s life, so it sounds like this custody beef is not gonna end any time soon. Wishing the former lovebirds the best in reaching a peaceful arrangement that works out for the sake of their son.

Of course it was a shock to everybody, but Janet seemed to be in no rush to run from cameras and spying eyes. She walked at a steady pace, cradling she and soon-to-be-ex-husband, Wissam Al Mana’s, baby boy. Eissa looked content as all get out in his mommy’s arms and Janet, at 51 years old, is still apparently dropping the pounds she’s been working so hard to lose in preparation for her upcoming tour…

Although Janet and Wissam headed to court to start their divorce preparations, the two reportedly have a really great friendship. They’re dedicated to successfully co-parenting Eissa, which is evident in the quality time both of them have been spotted publicly spending with their lil’ man…

It hasn’t been announced whether or not Janet plans to remain in London, where she and Wissam have built a life together for the past few years. However,  one source revealed to DailyMail that she’ll probably remain in London, while Eissa is really young and then relocate back to the U.S. permanently after that.

For now, it looks like she’s content with visiting her friends and fam’ in the U.S. every now and then. By the way, this must be an exciting time for the Jackson fam,’ because for many of them, this will be their first chance to meet the nearly seven month old addition to the family.

Janet looks comfortable in her new mother role. When their son, Eissa El Mana, was born on January 3rd, word soon spread that Wissam and Janet pretty much said “See ya!” to each other. Although they separated soon after the new Jackson family edition arrived, it became clear early on that both of them were dedicated to successfully co-parenting their son. Wissam was often spotted dropping off baby items to Janet’s London home and spending quality time with Eissa without her. While Janet was often spotted out and about spending quality with her baby without Wissam.

Fast forward to now, and they are apparently officially saying “Peace out” to their marriage. They were spotted leaving the Royal Courts of Justice in London on Thursday (where London’s divorce proceedings take place), to reportedly begin the process of going their separate ways after about five years of marriage.

Janet was accompanied by her assistant and members of her legal team; and Wissam, her soon-to-be-ex billionaire baller boo, strolled outta the courthouse solo.

As we previously reported, both Wissam and Janet are said to have no bad blood between them. According to many reports, Wissam even sent Janet 100 flowers for her 51st birthday on May 16th (2017).

Unfortunately they may be divorcing, but there are a few up sides in all of this:
1. In June, Janet seemed to be in very good spirits as she addressed her fans about her estrangement from Wissam, as well as discussed her post baby weight gain and her upcoming continuation of her tour, starting in September of this year (2017)…

2. After word recently spread, from a source close to Janet, that she has now lost 50 pounds of baby weight in a very short period of time on her journey to prepare for her tour, it seems that her weight loss is beginning to show. In her courthouse pics, there appears to be a difference in Janet’s size, although we here at ILOSM, dig Janet either way…thick, slim, pleasantly plump, you name it- beauty comes in ALL sizes.

Other than that, we hope this divorce process continues to go smoothly. At this point, folks are sitting back guesstimating how much of Wissam’s billion dollars Janet’s gonna get. Only time will tell.

Wissam Visited Home Once Shared w/Janet

Anywho, apparently Wissam has already moved out of the London townhouse he and Janet lived in, because after the separation news went viral, he finally surfaced and was spotted visiting the home twice this week. He did not stay overnight, he visited and left on both trips. One of those trips was an example of how he’s obviously determined to be there for Janet and their 3 month old son, Eissa.

He Delivers Gifts To Home

He personally delivered big bags of toys and balloons just a day before Janet Jackson reportedly moved out of their townhouse as well.

Janet Made Request & Then Moved Out?

It was reported that a few weeks before the separation news was announced, Janet had requesting that the locks to their townhouse. Several media outlets also reported that Janet moved out of the townhouse the day after Wissam delivered his gifts. The movers were seen carrying her things out and into a nearby moving truck….

Now y’all know Janet is all about protecting her privacy and especially the privacy of her precious baby boy, understandably so. So we can only imagine that when she and Eissa exits (or exited) the premises, it’s gonna be on some type of hyper-sensitive, secret mission tip, where NOBODY -not even the paparazzi staking outside of her home 24/7- will catch her.

They’re Staying Dedicated To Co-Parenting Eissa

Although it’s very unfortunate that things aren’t working out between Janet and her man, there is good news in this. Janet’s friend previously told DailyMail that Wissam and Janet are 100% dedicated to being devoted parents to their son, despite any marital struggles they are dealing with at this time. It’s just been reported by Daily Mail that the two new parents have split up just three months after Janet gave birth to their baby boy, Eissa. A friend of Janet’s has apparently let the cat outta the bag about their marriage.

Friend Reportedly Tells Details About The Spit…

Via DailyMail: …Last night, a close friend of Ms Jackson told The Mail on Sunday: ‘Sadly, Janet and Wissam have decided that it wasn’t working and to go their separate ways.
‘They’re both busy people but determined to be good parents, even if they’re apart. It’s amicable and Eissa will stay with his mother, who is basing herself in London.’

It was also reported a few months ago, that Janet was spotted a soon after giving birth to her son, without her big rock of a wedding ring, which had sparked separation rumors at that time, but they quickly simmered down once no one from Janet’s camp had spoken on the matter and and things had seemed to be back to normal for the couple. This go ’round is different though, according to the friend who’s telling all about the split.

Janet Won’t Have Top Pay This Time Though…

Damn…third time’s supposed to be the charm. But it looks like that old saying may be is useless for Janet’s love life.

If you recall, she’s been married twice before- the first one to James Debarge was just a bad idea apparently, because they got an annulment faster than we could say “What have you done for me lately.”

Janet’s second marriage had a pretty long stint to her ex-husband, Elizondo Renee. That divorce cost her a pretty penny though and she ended up having to pay him $10 million for their 8 years of marriage. They had a pre-nup, but Renee sued and won a judgement against her for spousal support after claiming that he’d signed the pre-nup under duress.

Hopefully Janet’s marriage to Wissam does NOT end in divorce and they can work things out. However, if it does get to that point, this will be the first time that Janet is the financial underdog of her marriage and Wissam will likely have to pay. He’s reportedly worth at least four more than Janet as of now, so those spousal and child support checks would be very hefty if, in fact, there is trouble in paradise between Janet “Ms. Jackson if you’re nasty” Jackson and her Islamic husband, Wissam Al Mana.

Shortly after the baby was born, Janet Jackson’s representative released a statement confirming the child’s birth. The rep also confirmed the 50-year-old singer is doing just fine. “Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world,” the statement read. “Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.”

A Long Time Coming:

The good news about the baby and Janet’s health follows months of concern about her condition. Back in September, Janet was reportedly facing pregnancy complications, reports E! News.

An insider shared details about her trying times during the pregnancy. But despite any complications, Janet and Wissam have been anxiously anticipating their little bundle of joy.

“Janet isn’t feeling that great. She has gained more weight than she anticipated. It hasn’t been the easiest pregnancy at all.” The source added, “She is excited to have her baby, and that’s the light at the end of this tunnel.” Additionally, Janet’s “husband, family and friends have been very helpful during her pregnancy.”
