Prince confessed that it was tough on him and his siblings when their dad died for several reasons. Not only were they dealing with their loss, but the allegations and sex scandals that plagued their dad’s career were immediately thrown into their faces for the first time in their lives:

“After he died, we got bombarded with [everything],” Jackson says bluntly. “It was a shock,” he says. “It all came at once. But [we] learned how to deal with it by just kind of ignoring it,” [said Prince].

“I don’t think I ever thought about if other kids lived like that when I was younger. But once I knew who he was, I realized it wasn’t normal. I remember being in Disneyland and I went to the window and there were all these fans waving and taking pictures of me. I thought it was normal, so I just waved back,” he continued. “It wasn’t until I saw a video of him performing and people were fainting and passing out, when I realized the work he did meant a lot to people.”

Michael “Prince” Jackson may be the son of a ‘king,’ but he’s known for being a very humble, down to earth dude, who never boasts about his iconic family, and prefers living as ‘normal’ of a life as possible. But even the most humble brotha can step outside of character to put haters in check when need-be. Even in death child sexual misconduct allegations continue to loom over Michael Jackson’s legacy. With the premiere of the recent two-part documentary Finding Neverland all of Michael’s previous legal troubles have been dug up and put on display for a new audience, with those closest to him feeling the burn since he’s no longer here to speak for himself. His three children are fed up with the accusations and have decided to launch their own investigation because they’re tired of their father’s name being dragged through the mud.

Ready For A Fight

Though many were aware of the allegations against Jackson, which stems as far back as 1993, the new documentary focused on two of his accusers specifically; Wade Robson and James Safechuck. Jackson’s children, Prince, Paris and Prince Michael II (aka Blanket) are already currently seeking legal options against Robson and Safechuck, however according to Page Six they’re now doing their own investigation of Robson and Safechuck to see if they made any monetary gains off of their participation in the documentary. In addition to their investigation the Jackson children are also preparing a lawsuit for fraud, emotional distress, slander and misrepresentation.

A Questionable Charity

Another part of the Jackson children’s investigation revolves around exactly where Wade Robson and his wife Amanda secured funds for their Hawaii based charity initially called the Robson Family Fund, which was subsequently renamed Robson Child Abuse Healing and Prevention Fund. The charity has come under fire since it was created around the time of the documentary’s release and though sources close to the family claim an investigation is underway the Hawaii Community Foundation, which the Robson’s charity was set up through, comments that they are unaware of any such investigation.

Michael Jackson would be very proud of the strides is daughter, Paris Jackson, has made in such a short amount of time since her reported suicide attempt. Also, from the looks of it, his ex, Debbie Rowe is as equally proud of their daughter.

As was widely reported, Paris allegedly slit her wrists in a suicide attempt, following the onslaught of allegations that were presented against her Pops in the Leaving Neverland documentary.

Fast forward to Saturday (March 30, 2019) during her first performance since her suicide attempt weeks ago, Paris performed with her boyfriend, Gabriel Glen, for their band, Soundflowers, at the small L.A. club, The Mint. The duo popped off a medley of cover songs by artists like, Jimmy Buffett and Bob Marley. They also sang a few originals.

The 21 year old son, Michael Prince Jackson II, is following in his Pop’s philanthropic footsteps. As he continues his collegiate pursuits at Loyola Marymount College in Los Angeles, CA, he’s also wasted no time striking up his non-profit organization, “Heal Los Angeles.”

The organization has been in existence since 2016 and Prince ain’t afraid to hit the streets of L.A. to hand deliver much needed necessities to the homeless, along with his team of volunteers. It’s a beautiful thing to witness and it’s also a great representation of the grounded young man his fam’ has cultivated him into.

In an Instagram post, Prince revealed how his organization has teamed up with another to help homeless women and children in dire need of life’s most basic necessities:

In a recent acceptance speech for winning the ‘Youth Advocacy’ award at the Motif Awards, Prince explained his reasons for starting Heal Los Angeles:

Stating that he and his friend, John, were inspired to help people in their hometown of L.A., because “we see SO many people our age and younger that were homeless, due to aging out of the foster system, or for unstable support systems back at home.”

He went on to explain how his dad, MJ, was the inspiration behind it all. “My father did a lot of great things with his life, but his biggest passion was helping others. I learned how important it was from him…that we help others and care for our fellow man. We called the foundation ‘Heal LA’ to further his goal and his cause for ‘Heal The World’ Foundation.”

Prince Checks Fan For Disrespect

Prince honors his Pops in more ways than one on the daily. Another thing we dig about him is that despite his generous heart, one thing he won’t do, is allow folks to disrespect him, nor his daddy. We’ve seen him stand up for himself to haters on several occasions and his dad’s 60th birthday in August 2018, was no different. Here’s what happened when a hater tried to tell Prince how he should have honored his daddy on his b-day:

Ultimately, Prince decided to share the message and his own note with his 500,000 plus followers.

“If you expect anything from me you will get nothing. I see a plethora of ignorant messages like this on a daily basis. This is my account that is public to everyone and I will use it as I see fit,” he wrote. “If you’d like to see birthday posts for my dad look at what I’m tagged in.”

Prince continued, “I chose to honor him in a different, intimate, and personal way. Also for future reference ignorance like this will be posted and blocked. So think before you speak.”
