As most of y’all already know, a few months ago, Tiffany Haddish indirectly blew up Sanaa Lathan’s spot, when she ever so effortlessly revealed that a popular, unidentified movie star bit the hell outta Beyonce’ at an industry party. According to Tiffany, Bey’ was pissed over that biting incident. At that time, Tiff’ did not divulge who the actress was, but she said that she did offer to deliver a quick smackdown to the actress over the incident, but Bey’ politely declined her offer.

Fans eventually figured out that the unnamed actress was Sanaa Lathan. Then came Sanaa’s denial of the incident, followed up by Tiffany’s recent confirmation that she was, in fact, referring to Sanaa as the Beyonce cheek biter. As of a few days ago, things got interesting yet again, after fans accused Sanaa of skating around the bite-gate question during her recent interview on “The Real”:

Sanaa’s Prior Denial

As we previously reported, Tiffany never mentioned the actress’ name at the time of her biting reveal a few months ago. However, fans quickly figured out it was reportedly Sanaa Lathan. Therefore, Sanaa did damage control, in a May interview with Health Magazine, and denied the claims that she was the biter who was high at the celebrity event and pissed Beyonce off:

Even though Tiffany never named the actress she was referring to at that time, she has now confirmed it.

So did the “Brown Sugar” actress really take a bite outta Queen Bey? Of course, the BeyHive has been dying to know the real answer to that question. Sanaa Lathan hadn’t shared her true opinion of the drama – until now.

Not Here For The Drama:

During a recent interview with Health magazine, Sanaa Lathan discussed a number of topics. From her career to her personal life, she opened up a bit to give fans a glimpse of her life. But one part of the interview that has fans’ attention centers around the whole “Beyonce biting incident.” After months of circulating rumors, Sanaa has finally broken her silence.

She Speaks:

According to PageSix Sanaa shared her opinion of the rumor and she definitely didn’t hold back. The 46-year-old actress claimed the rumor was “absurd” but she’s not letting it get to her.

“I think it’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever been involved with. Thank God I’ve been in this business for 20 years and have had so many rumors about me. They used to devastate me in my 20s, but in order to survive in this business, you just have to let it roll.”

She went on to finally answer the question everyone’s been asking. Sanaa made it clear that she wouldn’t bite anyone and the rumor is probably the most bizarre she’s heard in her entire career:

“I adore Beyoncé. I would never do anything malicious like that—to her, or to anyone. It’s so bizarre. I thought it was the funniest thing ever that it was a news story. It’s so crazy.”

Damage Control Or Nah?:

Of course, the rumor about the “4:44” after-party led to dozens of headlines and TMZ reported that insiders claimed Tiffany Haddish had told, “multiple sources” that Sanaa bit Beyonce. At the time, Sanaa only offered a brief response that left many fans baffled because it was kinda contradictory:

“Y’all are funny. Under no circumstances did I bite Beyonce and if I did it would’ve have been a love bite.”

Based on her latest statements about the whole “bite-gate,” people are definitely scratchin’ their heads again. If Sanaa didn’t know before, she definitely knows now, that the Beyhive will deliver a virtual beatdown at any given moment. So why are they attacking Sanaa, you ask? That’s because when Tiffany Haddish revealed in her new GQ Magazine interview, that a drugged up actress had taken a bite outta Beyonce’s face, she didn’t name which actress it was. Now, Sanaa has had to step up and defend herself against Bey’s fans. But before we get into that, here’s a recap of Tiffany’s revelation from GQ…

Soon after Tiffany’s interview went viral on Monday (3/26/18), the Beyhive cleverly found a way to locate a list of the guests who attended that December party and got ‘tuh buzzin.’ From the list, they’ve somehow narrowed their assumption down to a few actresses, with Sanaa making the top of their list. They’ve now been throwing virtual jabs at Sanaa online ever since and have been droppin’ a bunch of bee emojis (for Beyhive) underneath her social media posts.

Most of us have been seeing his name appear in TV show credits as a director and/or executive producer, since the 1970’s. He’s worked on sitcoms like Sanford & Son, Def Comedy Jam, The Steve Harvey Show, Real Husbands of Hollywood, and more.

And of course we couldn’t end this without giving a shout out to Sanaa’s mother, Eleanor McCoy, as well. A quick fun fact about is that she was one of the dancers in the iconic 70’s classic film, The Wiz, and she used to bring young Sanaa to work with her on the set.
