We reported earlier this month that the Family Feud host’s daytime talk show on NBC was getting canceled to make room for Kelly Clarkson’s hour-long program launching in September 2019. And just two days later, the network announced that Steve was no longer going to host Little Big Shots and that Melissa McCarthy was taking over.

But even in light of this bad news, Steve is keeping his head up and continuing to do what he loves — giving advice to others. On Instagram, the 62-year-old star reposted a video from his talk show’s account of him having an intimate conversation during a commercial break with an audience member. Particularly, the audience member wanted to know how Steve has stayed motivated after facing rejection.

In the video, Steve captions it “Watch me talk to myself”, referring that he is also in a similar situation as the audience member and his advice was really for both of them.

He started the reply saying:

“Well first of all, let’s look at the layoff for what it was [referring to the audience member, who apparently got fired from a job]. It was time to go, for you,” Steve began. “And sometimes, man, we don’t jump. Sometimes we get pushed.”

Not so long ago, Mo’Nique found Steve Harvey and Lee Daniels — as both — criticizing her recent efforts regarding equality and morality. Is this karma? Here’s what Mo’Nique has to say.

According to the legendary actress and comedian, she’s been getting tagged in various memes and news regarding Steve Harvey losing his shows Little Big Shots and Steve.

“They’ve almost been ‘celebratory’,” Mo’Nique mentions, alongside husband Sidney during their most recent podcast. “…People say, ‘That’s what his a** get,’ ‘Yeah, Mo, see.’” However, immediately, she addresses the bigger issue among us. “Why do we celebrate people’s failures?”

“Let me be clear about something. Let us be clear about something. We do not celebrate what appears to be someone else’s demise. We do not stand and applaud, and say: ‘Yeah, look what’s happening. That’s what you get.’ That’s not what we’re coming from; that’s not the stance we’ve ever taken. So what I would ask y’all to do is, we’ve gotta love our folks through it.”

“I know some people will say, ‘Mo’Nique is crazy; one minute, she saying they didn’t do her right; the next minute, she saying love’m through it,” the comedian expounds. “Let me tell you exactly what we’re saying…”

If enjoy watching Steve Harvey on his daytime talk show “Steve” you only have one more month to catch new episodes as the show will come to an end in June.

Word has been circulating since last September when NBC cut a deal with singer Kelly Clarkson for a talk-variety hour to launch in the fall. “The Kelly Clarkson Show” will move into the prime daytime slots occupied on NBC O&Os by Harvey’s show for the past seven seasons.

“Steve” taped its final episode on Thursday. Originals will air through June and the show will remain on the air in reruns through September.

Variety reports Harvey’s entry into the daytime talk arena began in 2012 with “The Steve Harvey Show,” co-produced by Endemol Shine North America and NBCUniversal and distributed by NBCUniversal Television Domestic Television Distribution. That show was taped in Chicago and featured Harvey more in the Oprah Winfrey/Phil Donahue host mode. The show was one of the few new entries in daytime to deliver solid, if not spectacular, ratings. This season, it has averaged about 1.8 million viewers a week, putting it at No. 5 among syndicated talk shows behind “Dr. Phil,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “Live with Kelly and Ryan” and “Maury.”

The demise of “Steve” raises the question of whether Harvey’s show was a casualty of animosity between NBCUniversal and Endeavor’s IMG Original Content over IMG’s takeover of the show two seasons ago.

Last week it was reported that a major tell-all book was about to shatter Marjorie’s image by revealing her alleged involvement in her ex-husband Jim Townsend’s drug operation. This was during a time when divorce rumors were already swarming around the two of them like sharks circling their prey, and now those divorce rumors are back and stronger than ever.

Steve and Marjorie have always flaunted their love in front of everyone else, even to the point where Steve became a sort of ‘relationship guru’ for people looking for a union as solid as theirs. But according to The YBF Steve and Marjorie’s bond may be unraveling in the wake of constant arguments and money problems. And apparently sources close to the couple claim that Steve is in a mad dash to liquidate his assets in preparation for a nasty divorce showdown, a lesson he learned during his contentious second divorce from ex-wife Mary.

The “Family Feud” host – who is twice divorced – allegedly put four homes he owns in Texas up for sale since January 2019. So far, he has been able to sell two of them for an estimated $2 million. It’s also alleged Steve significantly lowered the price of one of the homes to get it off his hands. Sounds like he’s trying to get it off his hands quickly.

All of the properties allegedly just name Steve as the owner and Marjorie’s name is nowhere in the paperwork. Sources tell the sale he transferred ownership of another Texas property from his and his wife’s name into just his own name.

In his latest episode of D.L. Hughleys new self titled TV show on TVOne, he invited one of his daughters, Tyler Hughley, to discuss how the murder of Nipsey Hussle is affecting her generation. In addition to his daughter, D.L.’s fellow ‘king of comedy,’ Steve Harvey, was also there to chime in.

Their discussion about Nipsey’s influence and his transformation from the gang life, into a social activist led to some heartfelt points being made- not just about Nipsey, but also about Steve and others.

Tyler Hughley started with:

“Obviously, we were hardened by the news of Nipsey Hussle passing away… For millennials, I feel like this (Nipsey Hussle) is our Tupac. Like, we were all 5 and 6 when Tupac passed away and this ones hitting, I know ME for sure, because his album, ‘Victory Lap,’ got me THROUGH it last year. …This is a hard one. Between him and Mac Miller (who died in 2018 from a drug overdose), this is definitely a hard hitting thing.”

D.L. then mentioned the many greats that the older generations have lost, like Prince, David Bowie, Michael Jackson etc., to which his daughter responded with a valid point. She explained that the difference between deaths of old school icons, versus the millennial era celebs -though equally heartbreaking- is the world got to see the icons reach their full potential:

“But you guys have seen what they’ve done. … Mac Miller died at 26, Nipsey Hussle died at 33 and that was his first album, all the other albums before were mixtapes,” said Tyler.

She also stated that Nipsey’s entrepreneurial accomplishments with real estate and more:

“…Showed [millennials] what you COULD do. You saw this man came from NOTHING and build..and then give back to his community. Like, he literally was buying Crenshaw…he was buying the whole block…and you just took him away…from his family, from helping better his community…FOR WHAT?!! No beef is worth that at all. Someone getting shot in broad daylight in front of a community that they built?!!”

We all remember when Bernie Mac, D.L. Hughley, Steve Harvey, and Cedric the Entertainer had us crackin’ up during their epic Original Kings of Comedy Tour, right? The years were 1999 and 2000 when they shook up the comedy game with their $38 million box office grossing tour.

Sadly, no one would have ever expected that just 8 years later -on August 18, 2008- that the world would lose Bernie Mac, after succumbing to pneumonia at age 50. Though he’d suffered from Sarcoidosis -a condition that causes inflammation of tissues- his passing wasn’t expected.

Fast forward to years later, and Bernie’s Kings of Comedy co-stars were brought to tears, as they also made Bernie’s beautiful wife and daughter cry tears of joy, with the surprise they’d gifted them.

Diddy Responds To Rumors Of Him Dating Lori Harvey

It’s no secret that Cassie and Diddy broke it off several months ago, after dating for many years.  And it was only a few months ago that he lost the mother of his children, Kim Porter. But, rumors started swirling around the time we posted a video of Diddy at a party, with Lori Harvey hanging around.

Sources close to Diddy tell TMZ … the music mogul is NOT dating Lori Harvey — despite rumors to the contrary — they’re just family friends. We’re told Lori’s been close with the Combs family for a while, but that’s it.

The male celebrity she was spotted with was none other than. . . . . P. Diddy! That’s right PUFFY! Diddy, himself! The two were seen in a reggae club in Miami and as soon as it hit the web, the rumors began.

Twitter and IG all began to speculate that Lori Harvey may now be “seeing” Diddy due to his actions in the video. Although the camera man was a bit shaky, it clearly shows Diddy walking through the crowd at the reggae spot. As the video continues, it appears as though Diddy was “looking back” to check for someone. Making sure she was able to comfortably make her way through the crowd, Lori Harvey then appears in the video.

Shortly after she walks closer to Diddy, the camera man turns the view and cuts it off. Neither one has made any statements to say whether the rumors are indeed false, but there’s also a possibility that the two may be connected in a different way.

The “Steve Harvey Morning Show” crew are dealing with an extremely sad tragedy right now. One of the show’s employees was found deceased a few days ago.

If you’re a fan of the morning radio show, you’re probably familiar with comedic co-host, Kier “Junior” Spates. However, it was Junior’s best friend/”Steve Harvey Morning Show” employee, Bryan Cooke, who was found dead in the W Hotel in Atlanta, Ga.

Details Of His Sudden Death

Here’s what’s just been reported:

Via TMZ– An employee on Steve Harvey’s radio morning show died this weekend after being found unresponsive in his hotel room by one of Steve’s famous co-hosts … TMZ has learned. According to an incident report, obtained by TMZ, cops were called to the W Hotel in Atlanta early Sunday afternoon, where the body of Kier “Junior” Spates’ assistant, Bryan Cooke, had been discovered in his room … with blood and vomit coming from his nose and mouth.

Spates asked hotel staff to check on Cooke after he didn’t respond to him — the two ‘Steve Harvey’ employees were supposed to catch a flight to L.A. later that day. When no one answered, staff went in to find Cooke lying face down on his bed, and cold to the touch.

Junior Pays Emotional Tribute To His Friend

Shortly after Cooke’s passing, Junior took to social media to mourn the death of his best friend. In doing so he praised Bryan Coke for always being there for him and for being better than him.

Junior: “Today was the hardest day I have ever gone through! God is still in control. I lost my best friend today. He was actually my brother. We were friends since I was 16. I have no words. I am going to pull through for you Bryan Cooke. I won’t let you down. I love you and miss you. God must have needed a Titan in heaven today. Please keep his family in prayer and lifted up. I want to say thank you for keeping me in check through all my successes. You was the first to say man you got it. Thank you brother for keeping me focused. The world is hurt today. Your impact was truly felt. You made me a Man today. You said you was gone do it, I just didn’t know it was going to be like this. Thank you for all you taught me. Took me all day to type this. Just greet me when I walk through those gates!!! Show me around. See you Cooke. Truth be told, you was always better than me and I knew it. You did too. Thank you Lord for sending me the person I needed! The fight over Cooke! You won! #onemanarmy #RIH”
