Zakee Howze, actor who played ‘young Bleek’ (Denzel Washington’s character) in “Mo Better Blues”

ILOSM family, many of us remember the classic Spike Lee joint, Mo’ Better Blues. It starred and co-starred several legends, including Denzel Washington, Spike, Wesley Snipes, and many more.

“Young Bleek” Then

“Mo Better Blues” cast: Denzel Washington (top left), Joie Lee (top right), and Zakee Howze (bottom center)

Speaking if Denzel’s character, “Bleek,” if you saw the film, then you probably remember the kid who played “young Bleek.” He was the kid practicing his trumpet skills with his mama, Lillian (Abbey Lincoln) in the beginning of the film. “Young’ Bleek’s” mom was looking over him, pushing him to play his musical scales, but “Bleek’s” lil’ homies were outside his window, yelling for him to come out and play. “Bleek” didn’t wanna practice trumpet that day, he wanted to go play, but his mother forced him to rehearse anyway.

That hard work ultimately transformed into “Bleek” growing up and playing at one of the hottest jazz clubs in town. Then, at the end of the film, after “Bleek” was no longer an active player, he was seen teaching his son, “Miles” (played by a different kid actor), trumpet skills in the same way his mother taught him in the beginning of the film. Except this time, “old Bleek” allowed his son to go play with his friends, when he said he wanted to take a break.

Anywho, in 1990, the kid actor who portrayed ‘young Bleek’ (a.k.a. young Denzel) was then 8 year old actor, Zakee Howze. Now that we’re all caught up on what happened in Mo Better Blues with “Lil Bleek,” let’s get into what Zakee looks like today as a grown man…

You see fam,’ although Zakee went on to land roles in the 1992 classic, Malcolm X, and the 1994 film, Fresh, it’s been a couple decades since he made noise in the acting world since and now we know why.

“Young Bleek” Today:

This is Zakee Howze now…

Zakee Howze

He’s reportedly 40 years old…and as y’all can see, the brotha ain’t a baby anymore. Also, based on what he’s revealed in his autobiographical book, Fragments A.K.A. Incomplete thoughts: Fragments, he’s also lived through some real-life-grown-man hardships.

Apparently, he’s had a criminal history, which developed when he was 12 years old. He’s also served time in prison and became a convicted felon. Check out his brief book summary of his life and the lessons he’s learned from it:

Zakee Howze: This book was written during a time of a recession in my country. I am a few days away from being a bastard case. My father bailed out on me and my mother. I fell in love with doing crimes at the age of 12. I caught my first felony at 15. I have a lot of stories to tell from first hand. I stripped myself away from blessing at an early age. You can see some of my childhood achievements at www.google.com and search for Zakee Howze. I have good friends that were murdered or had to go before the creator because of their reasons. I started feeling like nobody loved me. Actually some people did stop loving me. You the man when have the money, but what about being a good person? That doesn’t matter to a lot of people anymore. One thing I learned is that when materialistic items are stripped away from people you will see nothing but their true character. I had to write this book because I witnessed too many people who do not control their own life.

Thankfully, Zakee is no longer living a life of crime and although it’s unclear exactly what he’s doing these days, like my mama used to say: “Sometimes no news, is good news.” Simply put, as long as Zakee has not recently made headline news for regressing back to his old criminal habits, it’s a good thing…he’s more than likely being far more constructive with his life these days and we can’t be made at the man for that.

Rev. Run; Damon Wayans

A few decades ago, when two legends- comedian/actor, Damon Wayans, Sr. and rapper, Rev. Run of Run DMC- started making their mark in entertainment, they probably never would have imagined they’d become family decades later. They were in two entirely different industries and they’re two kids who have now fallen madly in love with each other, weren’t even born of at that time. Fast forward today and it’s a whole ‘notha story, now the legends share the same adorable grandbaby.

Back in 2014, Mike Wayans (37), son of comedian Damon Wayans, Sr.  and Vanessa Simmons (38), daughter of Rev. Run (whose legal name is Joseph Simmons), celebrated the arrival of their daughter, Ava Marie Jean Wayans. Now, 8 years later, Ava has gotten so big and her parents are in talks of holy matrimony.

One Big Happy Family:

Rev. Run’s daughter, Vanessa Simmons, with longtime boyfriend, Mike Wayans – son of comic legend, Damon Wayans

Growing Up Hip Hop star, Vanessa, sat down to talk with Entertainment Tonight about her new clothing line, her beautiful little girl, and her boyfriend, Mike Wayans. In 2014, Simmons and her longtime boyfriend, Mike Wayans, had a star-studded baby shower to welcome the arrival of their daughter, Ava. With plenty of support from the fam,’ the Simmons and the Wayans were in the house to congratulate the two parents-to-be.

2014: Damion Wayans, Tyrese, Marlon Wayans, Rev. Run, Vanessa, Angela, and Russell Simmons all attended Ava’s baby shower.

MEET DAMON’S & REV. RUN’S 1st BORN GRANDCHILD, AVA

As we all know, there are like a thousand members Wayans family members (well…maybe not a thousand, but a whole LOT of ’em). But Rev. Run and Damon Wayans were excited as hell about Ava’s birth, because she was officially the very first grandchild for both of the legends. Vanessa Simmons and Mike Wayans celebrated the then-impending arrival of their baby girl, with a baby shower at the Sugar Factory in Hollywood, CA. Ava was born less than a month later, on February 13th, 2014.

Raising an 8-year-old is not easy when you have a fashion line to run. Vanessa launched Bad Butterfly with fellow fashion designer, Candice Cuoco. She spoke with ET on life with her then-3-year-old daughter Ava, boyfriend Mike Wayans, and why they’re not quite ready to expand their family. Despite the fact that Simmons and Wayans had been dating a long time before Ava’s birth, Mike reportedly still hasn’t popped the question:

V. Simmons – “Dealing with a 3 year old is very challenging, but I think eventually yes [we will have more kids] after Mike and I tie the knot, the Growing Up Hip Hop star shared with ET’s Courtney Tezeno.”

Their Daughter Is Following Mom’s Modeling Footsteps

Mike Wayans’ and Vanessa’s little cutie pie, Ava, is out her getting her modeling on early.Just like her modeling moms, Ava can strike a pose for the camera like no other. Peep her modeling pic below, rockin’ her mother, Vanessa’s, and aunt Angela’s Pastry Shoe Line…

Beautiful fam’ indeed…Damon Wayans and Rev. Run must be so proud.

Girlfriends cast; Golden Brooks circled in photo

ILOSM family remember actress Golden Brooks, who played “Maya” of the hit early 2000’s sitcom, Girlfriends? Her role was as the sassy friend to the characters played by Tracee Ellis Ross (Diane’s daughter), Jill Marie Jones, and Persia White.

On the show, “Maya” was a married housewife and author, but in real life, Golden was dating a known actor at the time. Although the two are no longer together, they did produced what they are most proud of and treasure with all their hearts- their precious, now 12-year-old daughter.

So who’s her baby daddy, you ask? He’s none other than actor, D.B. Woodside. Remember him? Most of us, Old Schoolers, first became familiar with D.B. when he portrayed Temptations base singer, Melvin Franklin, in the classic Temptations biopic miniseries.

Ever since then, we’ve seen D.B. do his thing in many TV shows and films, including the VH1 series, Single Ladies; the Fox drama series, 24, and he’s currently starring on the Fox hit series, Lucifer.

Cast of the “Temptations” biopic. D.B. Woodside pictured second row, right

Well little did many of D.B.’s and Golden’s fans know, they were a couple back in the day, but kept their relationship on the low and out of the public’s eye for the most part.

Meet Their Daughter

***

D.B. also shared this throwback photo of his daughter, whom he says always has him in full bliss…

These days D.B. is still heavily in the acting game. Golden Brooks seems to have taken a breather from the industry for a while, but now, she’s back, having recently finished filming a project with Swirl Films. When they’re not acting, it’s clear to see that both Golden and D.B. are all about their little princess, Dakota. Golden once shared a few pics from their daughter’s very first fashion design pop up shop. That’s right, their little mini-me is a fashionista in the making. And she and her moms also love Mary J. Blige songs…so cute…

Just another little known fact about two entertainers we dig from the Old School.

(L) Chico DeBarge; (inset photo) Tyler Perry

While there’s no denying that the DeBarge family are extremely talented, they have always had their fair share of ups and downs. One thing we respect about them, is that they’ve never tried to hide their struggles. Singer, Chico DeBarge, was always known as the bad boy of the DeBarge fam.’ He served 5 years in prison for drug trafficking. However, shortly after getting out of prison, he was living right and touring as a cast member for Tyler Perry’s stage play, “Why Did I Get Married.” That’s when a violent stabbing incident took place that seemed like something straight out of a mob movie and it almost cost him his life. Chico broke it all down to Sister 2 Sister Magazine. Check out the excerpts below…

Chico Describes Night Of Stabbing

Chico Debarge: I got stabbed in 2003. I was at a play with Tyler Perry—me and Kelly Price and Tyler Perry. It was a play called “Why Did I get Married?” …We were in Philly. It was around the end of October, November, and I just was out there in the play.”

Chico said that after the play that night, his friend’s new female acquaintance, actually played them, by using his friend to make her real boyfriend- a mob gangster- jealous. The unnamed friend didn’t know the woman had another man, so he and Chico were not aware that was why she’d asked them to meet her at a club where her mafia boyfriend would also be.

Chico Debarge: So I took him to it, and when I got in there, you could tell it was made men; it was like you stepped right into “Goodfellas.” … I was like, ‘Hmm, this is not right.’ […] To me, it was obvious. She just met my friend and she’s all over him. … It looks like she’s trying to make somebody jealous. And sure enough she was trying to make this guy, who was a hit man for the mob, jealous.

That’s when the fight broke out:

CD: He [the Italian mobster] sent a girl over there to beat the girl’s butt, so they got in a fight. And when they got in a fight, my associate [his friend] intervened, and I guess he must’ve touched the girl to do it because I was at a distance when I saw it go down, and just, the troops came in. The guy got up—that was his reason to get up—he pursued my friend and an altercation took place. And I ended up stabbed. […] I was stabbed in the side, like, by my kidney: a seven-inch scar from my kidney close to my lung.

I didn’t know I was stabbed, so I was still fighting. Then my friend kicked the door down. There was an exit door and he kicked it. We jetted out of there. Then I began to feel like my shoes were sloppy wet and I began to feel dehydrated. … My mouth was very dry. I could feel there was something wrong. When I moved a certain way, that’s when I felt the sting—like a hot burn. I was like, “Wow. Did I get shot?” I lift my shirt up for him. I said, “I’m alright?” And he looked at me like, “Oh no!”

A Philadelphia Eagles Player Helped Save Chico’s Life

By a chance of fate, Chico luckily ran out of an exit door where a Philadelphia Eagles player (Chico didn’t name which one) who was skilled in those types of injuries, happened to be standing nearby…

CD: One of the guys from the Philadelphia Eagles was next door. I guess he owned a club with security or whatever. …He knew what he was doing and he was security; he deals with situations like this all the time and for me not to lay down because my adrenaline—he wanted to keep my adrenaline flowing. He started coaching me. He said the ambulance is on the way so I knew it was kind of serious. But I went to the hospital. Then the police came and they wanted me to identify the dude, which I would not do.

Man Who Allegedly Stabbed Chico Loses His Life 2 Weeks Later

The guy who stabbed Chico was allegedly the same mob boyfriend of his friend’s female acquaintance. Chico said that although the cops caught the guy that same night, they had to let him go because Chico refused to snitch on him. Two weeks after that incident, the guy lost his life apparently in an unrelated event.

Stabbing Led To Chico’s Past Drug Addiction

CD: “I was stabbed and I was prescribed some prescription pills. So as a result of that, I became addicted to the prescription pills.”

In other interviews, Chico also admitted that prescription med addiction later led to his addiction to harder drugs, including heroin and cocaine. Thankfully, Chico cleaned up his act years ago and is back on the scene performing again and making great music.

Terrence Howard with wife, Miranda Pak

When it comes to acting, Terrence Howard, is one of the BADDEST mofo’s in the game. He has that unidentifiable “it” factor that only few actors have. As for his love life though, Terrence’s skills aren’t as immaculate…given his track record. But hey, the man ain’t a superhero, he’s only human, like the rest of us.

The former “Empire” star has even admitted that, “Before Mira, I always picked the wrong women.” And if you ask his now 3rd ex-wife-turned-fiancee’ (they divorced in 2015, and then engaged again a few years later), Miranda “Mira” Pak- true, he’s only human…yet a pretty odd human. However, she still loves her some him.

In a prior interview with Rolling Stone, Terrence and Miranda chopped it up about everything, including why she feels their marriage is kinda strange.

What Terrence Howard Has His Wife Do For Nearly 17 Hours A Day

Terrence Howard with his then-wife, Miranda Pak

The topic of their marriage arose, as Terrence was discussing his new self-made numbers system and ‘universal pieces’ he’s crafted (with help from Miranda) to prove his theory that 1×1 does NOT equal 1:

“This is the last century that our children will ever have been taught that one times one is one,” he says. … Twenty years from now, they’ll know that one times one equals two. … And the proof is in these pieces. I have created the pieces that make up the motion of the universe. We work on them about 17 hours a day. She (Miranda) cuts and puts on the crystals. I do the main work of soldering them together. They tell the truth from within.”

They Married After HOW MANY DAYS?!!

According to the publication, it was only after Terrence walked outta the room, that Miranda got really REAL about their union. First, she opened up about how they’d actually met and the bold move Terrence made, which ultimately ended with them at the altar in lightening speed:

She says she first met Howard in the middle of the day at an L.A. restaurant where she was having lunch with an old boss. He marched up to the table and said to the man, “I don’t know if she’s your wife or girlfriend, but she’s absolutely stunning.”

She said, “That’s very bold of you.” He said, “Well, only a tiger can approach a tiger.” Three weeks later, they were married.

Wife On How Their Marriage Isn’t “Normal”

Miranda then acknowledged just how abnormal their marriage is in her opinion:

“Isn’t that crazy?” she says today. “And we have an amazing connection. But, I mean, he’s not perfect. Doesn’t do the dishes. Doesn’t cook. Doesn’t lift a finger. I probably leave him 30 times a month.” She laughs and goes on, “He’s so selfish. But, you know, he didn’t have much of a childhood. It was difficult for him being picked on and bullied all the time. We don’t have a normal life. In our two years together, I’ve only gone to restaurants with him two or three times. We’ve never been to the supermarket together. We’ve never been to the movies. I’ve never gotten a gift from him. Never, never.”

“And then every minute that he has free, it’s to do this.” She gestures at some of Howard’s thingamajigs, tilting her head questioningly. “I help him, cutting, drawing and putting things together. I’ve developed a slight form of agoraphobia lately. I never go out. I have no friends here. I feel like Rapunzel, you know, stuck in a penthouse with my baby.”

Soon afterwards, Terrence Howard walked back into the room, after putting their then toddler son to sleep and jokingly asked the reporter, “You ask some good questions of my wife? She gonna get us in trouble?”

To which the reporter replied,”Ah, not too bad.”

“No, not too bad,” said T. Howard. “That’s like a doctor with a big-ass needle saying, ‘This ain’t gonna hurt.’”

Point is, at least the former head honcho of the “Lyons” family knows his marital bliss is a tad bit unorthodox, but he can keep a sense of humor about it at the same time.

What We Learned About Mr. & Mrs. Terrence Howard

We learned a few things about Terrence and his wife from that interview: (1) He has some quirky habits/interests; (2) his wife was and/or still is bored as hell on the regular; and (3) T. Howard definitely ain’t making it rain with his coins.

At the time of their interview, it seemed like Miranda was itching for a date night, a flashy pair of Louboutins, maybe a new Chanel bag…or some other sign of appreciation from Terrence, as she sees fit. Hopefully, they’ve since found a common ground on that.

(L) R. Kelly; (R) MDC Brooklyn Prison

R. Kelly is in MDC Brooklyn Prison apparently goin’ off, after he says he was violated by the prison’s head honchos and/or rules. Just days after the “Step In The Name Of Love” crooner was sentenced to 30 years in prison for sex crime charges, among other charges…he is now pretty much telling the prison they better get tuh steppin’ in the name of cutting him a check for the way he’s being treated. Okay, not exactly in those words, but check out the details of his lawsuit below…

Kelly just filed a lawsuit against MDC Brooklyn because he says he’s being severely mistreated by being placed on suicide watch, even though he is adamant he’s not suicidal. According to the court docs, Kelly says he is being subjected to “cruel and unusual punishment” as a result of the suicide watch the prison has him under, due to the fact that he’s a celebrity.

But there’s more…

Via TMZ: Kelly claims he was put on suicide watch this week after he was sentenced to 30 years in prison, arguing his 8th Amendment rights are being violated because “he is not suicidal and expressly told MDC officials that he was not suicidal and had no thoughts of harming himself or others.”

In the docs, he mentions Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell — who was also placed on suicide watch — saying the same thing has happened to him.

R. Kelly is also describing the harsh hygienic conditions he’s reportedly suffering under while on suicide watch. He says he’s in a single-cell that has no bed rails, nor showers, no shaving utensils, nor toilet paper. He also claims he’s being ‘forced to eat meals with his hands, and being shut off from loved ones.’

Additionally, Kelly couldn’t help but notice that inmates on suicide watch actually do not receive psychiatric treatment inside the MDC Brooklyn facility, according to his observation.

Thus, Kelly is now suing for emotional distress and damages.

Here’s what the The Bureau of Prisons had to say about Kelly’s claims:

“The BOP is committed to ensuring the safety and security of all inmates in our population, our staff, and the public. Humane treatment of the men and women in our custody is a top priority.”

Not sure if the MDC Brooklyn Prison is going to win or lose this new legal battle vs. R. Kelly. But the facility has recently been thrusted into the national spotlight by media outlets that reported many other inmates’ complaints of inhumane conditions. So it should be pretty interesting to see how R. Kelly’s lawsuit plays out.

We’ll keep y’all posted.

R. Kelly; his ex-wife and mother of his kids, Andrea “Drea” Kelly (also goes by Andrea Lee)

As y’all have likely heard by now…R. Kelly is gonna be in prison for decades to come — three of them to be exact. However, in case you missed that info…inside a Brooklyn, NY courtroom on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, the “Bump n’ Grind” crooner was sentenced to 30 years for 9 charges he was previously found guilty of, including sex crimes and human trafficking. Federal prosecutors accused R. Kelly of targeting women, girls and boys. Judge Ann M. Donnelly handed down the 30-year sentence, which brought one of the highest profiled cases the U.S, District Attorney’s office had seen in years.

The public’s views on R. Kelly’s sentencing have been mixed. R. Kelly’s non-supporters feel the sentencing is perfect, given the sex assault crimes several of his former girlfriends and/or associates have accused him of. However, his supporters believe he was sentenced far more harshly because of his race, while people of other races have received far less time for equally harsh crimes.

It’s the latter group that waisted no time droppin’ by Andrea Lee-Kelly’s (R. Kelly’s ex-wife and mother of his kids) social media page to call her out over this, soon after Kelly’s 30-year sentencing was announced. Peep some of the comments below…

Fans left comments under several posts of Drea’s.

In one post, Drea promoted her children’s acting program, to which one commenter wrote, “This bi**h aint.a damn actress! Unless I want to learn how to be a peophile n act like u a victim instead😂😂😂 and its for KIDS??? uuuhm. Yea”

Underneath that same post, another commenter said, “Take Kelly of your name you b##ch.” referring to Andrea’s continued use of R. Kelly’s last name.

For several years there seemed to have been a love/not-so-loved type of outlook the public has had with Andrea Kelly. Many accuse her of being a ‘hypocrite’ for supposedly knowing about some of the sexual/physical abuse R. Kelly was reportedly capable of inflicting on his alleged victims,  yet not speaking out about it publicly until decades later, when the support checks Kelly was paying her reportedly began to slow up. On the flip side, other fans applaud Drea for finally having the courage to speak out.

In addition to coming for Drea following R. Kelly’s sentencing, many fans have also attacked the legal system altogether, by pointing out the differences between the 20-year sentence, Ghislaine Maxwell — the ex-wife of deceased alleged sex-trafficker/sex-assaulter, Jeff Epstein — vs. R. Kelly’s 30-year bid; and more. Check out some of those comments below…

One commenter took a more neutral stance, writing “I feel like both people need to pay immensely for what they have done to children. Touching children should be and automatic LIFE sentence. But I’m pretty sure Ghrislaine Maxwell definitely deserves life without the possibility of parole.”

Another commenter referred to R.Kelly’s sentencing as a diversion. “#RKelly, like Cosby, is a diversion by the white predators who own/run the media to keep attention off themselves. When will Stephen Collins finally go on trial? Or Trump? Matt Gaetz? Les Moonves? Rob Lowe? Never. … But guaranteed the next big celebrity ‘rape’ trial will be black,” the user wrote on Twitter.

One commenter pointed out, “So #GhislaineMaxwell got less time than #RKelly and we STILL don’t know her client list? Gotcha”

Other people were all for the 30-year sentence the judge handed down to R. Kelly…

One Twitter user wrote, “#RKelly isn’t the black victim. He’s the abuser of black women and children. This #FreeRKelly movement is wishing against justice for black people!.”

As of now, the “Seems Like You’re Ready” singer has not spoken out regarding the 30-year bid he’s now serving…but we’ll keep y’all posted on this.

Actor, Glenn Plummer

Depending on your age, you either know actor, Glenn Plummer, as ‘High Top’ from the movie, “Colors,” as ‘O.G. Bobby Johnson’ from the film, “South Central,” or as ‘Pernell’ from “Menace II Society.” What many may not know him as, is the former husband of an ’80s/’90s R&B singer, whose group had radio airwaves heated up for a few years back in the day.

Although they divorced in 2014, Glenn Plummer and his ex-wife have long history together, they were married for 14 years and have two beautiful children from their union. And from the looks of it, they’re still pretty cool with each other today. Check out who his R&B wife was below…

He Married A ‘Good Girl!’

Glenn Plummer was married to The Good Girls member, DeMonica Santiago, from 2000 to 2014. You all remember the R&B girls group, The Good Girls, right? They were the Motown Records girl group that came out rockin’ the Catholic school outfits with the short plaid skirts, cardigan sweaters, ties and oxford shoes and made it look cool.

They had hits like “Your Sweetness” and “Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart,” and at their peak from about 1989 to 1992, some people described their sound as an New Jack Swing version of The Supremes. Check out the video below to refresh your memory…

We don’t really know why Glenn and DeMonica divorced after 14 years…maybe they just grew apart.

Anywho, at the time of their divorce, it was also reported that Glenn was not leaving their home and continued living there with DeMonica and their children after the divorce.

Meet The Plummers

Below are a few throwbacks photo of Glenn and DeMonica with their beautiful now 21-year old daughter, Julia Plummer, and their son, Joshua Plummer (age unknown).

Random Fun Fact: Glenn Plummer Almost Beat Up Sean Penn On Movie Set

Glenn Plummer recalled the scene in “Colors,” where police officers, “Pac-Man” (Sean Penn) and “Hodges” (Robert Duvall) beat the brakes off of his character, “High Top.” Duvall and Penn went off-script and got reality twisted with fiction, says Plummer.

GLENN PLUMMER ON ROBERT DUVALL- “So we get on set and these guys are running around and they’re treating everybody like they’re gang members. You know what I mean? Like talking…little advantages and stuff. Like we did a scene the alley way and the first thing that happened in that scene was that I was on my knees and Robert Duvall slapped me in the face with a notebook, like hard enough to put…a welp on my cheek. So that was the FIRST thing that happened, I was HANDCUFFED! […] And I looked at him and I remember going “Aww man, it’s like THAT? And I’m looking around and I’m wondering if anybody;s gonna do anything about it….nobody said anything.”

“Colors” film; (L) Robert Duvall, (R) Sean Penn

GLENN PLUMER ON SEAN PENN- “I think he got upset because he wanted everything to be ‘real,’ but what ended up happening was he kinda felt like he wanted to do some extra sh*t. And he ended up slamming my face down on the car and in the scene I was wearing these shades. And at one point he slammed it and i took it with my elbows and then when I relaxed, he slammed my head back down into the car, busted my shades, ripped them apart and you know, gave me this whole like, reason to kill him. Then at that point I was like ‘Okay you know what? This has gone too far.’ So I stopped and I’m like ‘Man…I’m not really a gang member, I’m not really 17, I’m not really seventeen motherfu*ka, I’m 27 years old, I’m a grown ass man… And if you slam my head down on this car again dude I’m fuc*in’ you up.’ […] ‘And all them cops you hangin’ ’round with to get into character, and all these producers sitting around here who…don’t seem to care that you over here trying to fu*k me up, they ain’t gon’ get to you fast enough before I kick your a$$.’ So…you either stop doing this sh*t now, or me and you gon’ be in this dirt.'”

Check out what Glenn said happened next in the video below…

This probably isn’t an easy one, so if you got this one right, you’re good. Scroll down to see who she is…

Their Mother is the late, great Donna Summer! The “Love To Love You Baby” and “Last Dance” soul disco queen! A hand clap to whoever was able to get this one right.

Donna Summers actually has three daughters. Get the scoop on  Mimi, Brooklyn and Amanda — below…

(L-R): Brooklyn, Bruce Sudano, Mimi, and Amanda

Mimi Sommer Dohler is Donna’s eldest child. She’s 49 years old (born in February 1973) and her father is Donna’s first husband, German actor Helmuth Sommer (pictured below). Mimi, along with her two younger siblings, Brooklyn and Amanda used to sing background vocals on the road with their mom. Mimi is married with 4 children of her own now.

Brooklyn Sudano is Donna’s second born. Her father is Donna Summer’s husband, Bruce Sudano. She’s 41 years old (born in January 1981) and is an actress, singer and dancer who is probably best known for playing the role of “Vanessa Scott” on the ABC sitcom, My Wife And Kids (starring Tisha Campbell and Damon Wayans) and “Felicia” on the TV series Cuts.

Brooklyn graduated as the valedictorian of her high school, then went on to attend Vanderbilt University and eventually studied at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. She’s also modeled for Clairol, K-Mart and Clean and Clear. Donna Summers featured her on her song “Brooklyn,” from her I’m A Rainbow album.

Donna’s youngest daughter, Amanda Sudano is 39 years old (born in August 1982), and she’s also the daughter of Bruce Sudano. She has modeled for Louis Vutton ads, but she is most known for being in the successful pop singing duo group, Johnnyswim, with her husband, Abner Ramirez, with whom she has a toddler aged daughter. Check out their video below…

Donna Summer would be so proud of her children, may she continue to rest in power.
